"OW OW OW!!!" He jumped and grabbed at his shin, hopping, "WHAT WAS THAT FOR!??!"

"Jeez, woman!!" He grumbled but stopped hopping and continued with his story, smiling a little.
"So I'm walking, and all of a sudden, a shot goes past my head!! I jumped out of my skin and turned around, and sure enough, there was a HUGE Akuma!! I didn't really know what it was at the time, but I had heard stories. And my mind flicked back to what Paul had said.
But I wasn't gonna give up without a fight. I had only ever had a few lessons with a whip before, but I knew the basic. So I unrolled it, and I cracked it once.
Nothing happened. In fact, the Akuma started shooting at me more. I was dodging them easily at this point. It was just a level one, so it couldn't do anything but moan at me, and keep shooting.
So, I kept cracking the whip at it. It left some slashes, but nothing enough to do any real damage. So I was getting frustrated as I was dodging the attacks still.
Finally I flailed, shaking the whip angrily, and I said, I said
'COME ON, YOU STUPID WHIP!! GO!!!'
And at that instant, when I cracked it, fire darts shot out from the tip of it!!
I was totally freaked out. How could the thing make fire!? It was a whip!! But I was really desperate now, so I cracked the whip at the Akuma again. And sure enough, more sparks came out!!
They shot into the Akuma, doing a lot more damage than the whip had done by itself, without the flame. So I kept at it, and the sparks got bigger!!
Finally, I cracked her, and BAM!!
These huge flame tongues shot out, gripping around the Akuma!!"
He paused again, making her wait in suspense, ready to dodge her kick.
"Did you beat it? I mean..sure you did..its a level one after all....what else happened?" She fired off questions like a kid would, curious as a cat still. She tapped the foot patiently, the same one that kicked him in the shin, as if it was daring him to stop again. She continues to lean against the wall, slightly leaning forward to listen to the story better, her arms occasionally flailing when she was hyper.(( @Esme: O3O!! HAI HAI ESME! *huggle/luffles* ))
He was grinning broadly, happy that she was so into his story. He really got along with her; the first time he had ever gotten along so well with a girl.
A girl....
He continued his story before she could kick him again.
"So I had it now!! I yanked on the whip, and the Akuma was pulled along with it, the flames tight around his big fat face!!"
He laughed at that
"And the Akuma went flying off in the other direction, the flames letting go of him after the swing!!
And as he soared away, he exploded!! BOOM!!
-jumps at her, putting his hands in her face in a surprising way-
Just like that!!
And guess what else happened!!"
-he jumped up and down, waiting for her to guess, grinning some more-
She jumps back a bit, surprising her when he put his hands on her face and she nearly hits her head on the wall behind her. She was used to this kind of stuff though, she hung around a bunch of boys when she was a kid, this kind of behavior didn't bother her at all, she shrugs it off and laughs. Truth be told, he reminded her of one of her old friends, the hyper active crazy one in the gang, William. She shook it off though, looking up a thoughtfully with her finger under her chin and her head tilted up. The classic thinking pose.
"Ummm......You......jumped up and down like a maniac and more akuma came in to try to beat you down?" She guessed, looking at him with a smile on her face, as if she was trying to pull off being smart.
Wow..talk about a lame guess...I fail at this.
He sweatdropped when she almost hit her head.
"Oops! Sorry!!" sweatdrop redface He blushed a little.
He patted her arm to make sure she was ok before continuing.
"No!! The commotion got the attention of all the people in the shop, cause I was still close to town when it happened!!
And they all came running out, just in time to see the Akuma explode!!
And Paul!! OHEMGEE you should have seen his face!! He was DUMBSTRUCK!!
And I said, I said, 'Eh-heh, so...do I get to keep it?'
And he just stared at me with his jaw dropped, and nodded slowly.
And then all the other people from the store came over and started patting me on the back and scruffing up my hair, and it was AWESOME!!
And that is how I got my Innocence!! It came ready-made in this whip, it's so cool!!
So I didn't have to mess around with Komui and the Science Department!!
Ta da!! The END~"
He grinned cheesily.

"Now THAT's a badass way to get your innocence. And you got a hero status to go with it!! That's awesome dude!!" She says, smiling hyperly and happily.
"Damn..you got lucky..I actually DID have to go through all that science department shiz...kind of...." She said, laughing a bit at the memory of how she got her innocence.
He found that his heart fluttered ever slightly when she gave him praise and the thumbs up, and a light blush spread across his cheeks. He tried to ignore it, and put his hands on her arms again, shaking her vigorously.
"TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME!!!!"
