I finally started Pokémon White. I'm somewhere between the first and second gyms.
On the one hand, I like several of the pokémon in my team. D/P/Pt couldn't manage that after eight gyms, so B/W is at least better than part of fourth gen.
On the other hand, what possessed the dev team to build delays and extra button presses into everything? Pokémon could certainly stand to change things up, but this isn't how you go about it. stressed

Yes, I'm going into a Pokémon Center; you don't need to spend ten seconds zooming into the building every time. Also changing things from ending automatically to needing another button press, like saving and ending battles. This one's really frustrating because I have four generations of muscle memory kicking in every time I win a battle or finish saving.

The only delays that bother me are the ones surrounding the C-Gear, but that's about it.

Through all those crappy impossible offers vis the GTS I've gotten meself some pretty good trades amidst them all.
Got an Oshawott for a Piplup, a Tepig for a Skitty, and a Gothita for a Totodile.

In similar news, I just heard that the Dream World thing is set to be made available tomorrow.Don't they ask for things nobody could possibly have if they're trying to clone a Pokemon? Or did they fix that glitch?
