She laughed softly at Caden and shook her head. "It's a surprise for his mother but he showed me the exact one he wanted to get her. It's just over here but all his wares just didn't give him enough to buy it for her himself." Walking up to the vendor she shook her head at the price and began to haggle it down. Taught by her father, she was an excellent haggler and got the necklace for half of what he was asking through charm, slight flirtatious movements and just good bartering. "Now then, the boy knows he doesn't get the necklace until he brings me information. Let's go search for a few other things." Taking the box from the vendor with a smile, she slipped it into a pocket in her cloak and walked on.

"Aw isn't it cute, the youth is starting decent." Hey piracy was kinda funny to her, the way it worked and everything and the directions that things could take. She was enjoying her little stroll, seeing as she didn't have too much to worry about. But she let Shyrae handle the bartering business, idly snatching a coin purse off a man's belt as he passed, dumping the coins in her own pocket and tossing the purse. Hope he learned a lesson from that, never have your money out of your line of vision. "Lead on then, you're the market skimmer, I'm merely along for the ride...though any interesting two blade sets or hand held weapon pairs I'm always interested in."

"Shape apparently does not affect popularity." Glancing around the bear of sorts. There weren't quite out of pirate reach but the ones here looked like they were more out for self-indulgence than blood. Though a small smile to Jae, who's optimism could never be shot down. "Take it from me, Xeke. She pokes hard." But a nod as the pale blue ball of light circled his head again.
Buzzing happily in place now, the ball dropped down by an odd lizard and watched as it scurried down into the soft sand. "Only if you can catch me, Bell. And we all know how that ended last time..." But hovering back to Kaz's side now, just in case. She'd have to get past the big red mean dragon that was Commander first.

She watched the ball go about its antics and then frowned lightly. "So being a little ball of light you can pass through things and I can not...and that wall hurt and my knees got scraped." Pouting lightly then in jest for the moment. Though she did reach over and swatted at the ball of light just because. Normally she would give chase, but she was rather attached to Kaznec right now in this not so wonderful place. A pleased sigh though, leaning against him in familiar fashion. "It's not so bad really, at least it's a nice reprieve from the ship."

"Oh well what a nice boy, glad to see he that he is willing to do something to get a good gift for his mother." A small nod to that followed by a light smile, it made Caden happy to see the little boy going out of his way to his mom a necklace, at least that showed that he was being raised properly. Still it didn't take them more than five minutes to find the shop and at that moment Shyrae went to work at trying to cut the price down, needless to say she impressed Caden at how she was able to get it for half price.
So off they went Caden following where the elves were heading off to, his hands in his pockets as always as he tried to remain relaxed and calm. "I'm more or less the same, just browsing really though a cool spyglass would be nice to find, not a cheep one but one that seems to stand out sort of..." Besides if he had one of those spyglasses then when he is working the wall he wouldn't have to worry about using what they had already to see any ships coming thier way, just pop it out and he could have the ship or person in sight.

Hunter smirked lightly, just so she might notice the placement of cutlass along her thigh...right were the major artery was.
"Careful. hell and the sands may have no fury like a scorned woman..but hell and the sands don't bleed."
though putting hsi cutlass away and rasing his hands up in a 'huh' kind of fashion, one still holding the rum.
"alright. you find shards, we split them sixty fourty to me, I give you fifteen percent of the plunder, you get to keep your colors and I'll make sure not to fire on you or strand you like last time. though I did think you deserved to have to scavange for wood for a week...after all it was you that tried to beat me to the island after I so graciously let you know about it."

He merely watched them in silent amusement as he always did when they bantered as such. Jae liked a challenge and Xeke was one, more often than not. He, Kaznec, was just the middle man. It worked. "This is true. But I cringe to think of what will happen when we encounter sand storms..." Being in the highest point of the ship had its drawbacks as well. A glance over at her, still leaning against him, and then taking her with him as he decided to sit down on a spot well away from others.
"I'm not a mighty dragonness though. And I can't draw attention from man and dragon alike like you do." Compliment and teasing all in one. Xeke was know for its ambiguity sometimes, but it was mostly all in good fun. Ducking quickly to the side as she swatted at it though. "Hey, play nice. You might ruin my hair..."

Blade? She didn't care not like it scared her, but Hunter probably knew that...she was all spitfire and he knew that too, not one to easily be swayed or messed with. "You don't scare me, Hunt. You should know that by now. And yes, but remember, I got you back. I'm sure you enjoyed being buried to your neck and clawing your way out of the sand. I at least found it amusing." Giving a light chuckle and a step back from him.
Normally she wouldn't be intereted in shards...but if they did indeed work in the manner he spoke of...well she wanted one just to keep someone from having all of them. "Alright, sounds like you're being a bit more reasonable." Taking his bottle of rum and taking a swig from it before tossing it back to him. "But do remember, I'm not at your beck and call."
"Flatterer. Though I do believe that attention is more of the snickering amused kind over the kind you imply." Then a blink."Hair, what hair? You're a ball of glowing light. You have a rune, not hair." Poking at said light, but then looking to Kaznec as he decided it was time to sit down and thus taking her with him. Which she didn't mind of course and merely st there next to him, taking comfort in his company. "Sand storms...I hadn't thought of that...suppose wings would make a good buffer against that." Provided that they couldn't get below deck for some reasons. "I suppose we'll be hunting too if we're away from ports."

"I'm keeping an eye out for just those sorts of weapons for you Sav. Mostly pistols and swords here though. There's some very nice knives if you'd like to have one of those. Something new to hook onto your chains perhaps?" She glanced at Caden for a moment with a raised eyebrow and shook her head. "A spyglass, hmm? Let's see what we can do for you." She spoke with another pirate and then glanced at Caden. "He wants to know what ship you're the captain of."

"Indeed, that's what I'm looking for. Accessories to the chains are always nice aside from my standard equip." Ah yes, she loved her particular brain of weapon. Part dagger play, part whip control, and then overal chain weapon skills. Was good for someone who's vision wasn't up to bar...she had distance to keep safe and at the same time the metal conducted excellent vibrations that told her all she needed to know. A look back to Caden then. "Spyglass...good choise of pirate memorabilia." Though she did snicker when bartering questions came along. "Well there's certinaly a question."

He started drawing in the sand with one thin finger, random designs spiraling out in the ground though it soon turned out to resemble the tattoo he had on his hip. "I suppose. If we had some large pieces of cloth, we could always tack them up around the mast as well." The beginnings of a frown marred his forehead though when she mentioned hunting. Kaz didn't hunt often, for obvious reasons. But it might become a necessity on this trip. "If there isn't enough to eat, then I guess we will..."
"I get around, I hear things... You'd be surprised." Though it had no distinctive features to distinguish its sides, it was gazing down at Kaz's forming drawing and thus suffered her poke. "This is how you treat your flatterers? I might not have hair but I have feelings." The quietest of chuckles emitted from the ball of light but he merely hovered in place by their legs.

Caden blinked as Shyrae decided to take up the position of finding him a spyglass, he didn't want her to but if she wanted to do it then could he really argue? So he waited as the drow went about talking to another pirate, but when asked what ship does he control Caden paused for a moment before a named popped inside his head. "I'm captain of the Dark Star of course." He said with a light grin, though he looked at Savvy with a raised eyebrow, but he let it go before turning to Shyrae. "Is there anything he is willing to offer?"

Shyrae had linked an arm in Savvy's and was about to lead her off to the knives when Caden gave an answer. Glancing at the pirate again, she shook her head and knocked a shoulder into his. "Be a little more convincing. He won't sell you his spyglass if you aren't one of them." Thus she headed over to the stand beside his and began fingering the knives. "This one has some sort of tribal design on it. It's really quite interesting." Holding up one with an ebony handle and then slicing it through the air easily enough. "Lightweight as well. Interesting."
The pirate quirked an eyebrow at Caden and crossed his arms. "Ye be pirate Captain of the Dark Star, say ye? And why should I be believin' ye when ye've got neither the look nor the stance of a Captain, Boy and claimin' a ship I've never even heard of?" His eyes narrowed and he sneered. "I'll not be sellin' me wares to any of the likes of ye if ye not be pirate blood true." Thus he shook his head. "Whom do ye serve?"

"Poking with the utmost affection, I assure you." Unlike others she had never really said anything that set Kaznec apart from the others, despite his limitations of his natural form. Even as it was thus, she maintained to the fact that he was just as capable as others, just perhaps not for as long is all. She hated it when he mentioned it in negative manner and it showed on her face as she looked at him. A sigh then, looking down at the sand. "I wouldn't make you do it...I could do it myself. I'm capable."
Oh gods, he was lying to pirates. It probably wasn't the best move, but she'd be amused to see how it turned out. Holding in a snicker, seeing as the pirate was indeed smarter than to believe a quick lie. But she turned her attention back to sharp pointy things that she had been taken over to. Her blades had to have certain ease to them...because she had to modify them all to have attachment points. "Humans usually don't make lightweight and effective sturdy things at the same time, they lack the knowledge of how to temper the metal just right." Picking up another knife that had a serraded edge to it, the metal tinted red. And look there were two of them. "Bet you could get a good staff here too Shyrae...pirates know thier wood after all."

He looked at Shyrae before she left and gave a small nod before turning to the pirate and sighed a little bit. "Alright fine you caught me, I lied because I wanted to see if I could get anything from you, I'm just looking for a spyglass and I wanted to get one before I leave this port." He lowered his eyes as he stared at the man for a little bit, so he was going to be like this then? Fine he'll just have to go with it. "Just because I may not look like you doesn't mean I may not be one." Though a pause as he listened to him again before crossing his arms. "I serve Hunter of the Chimera, we came in port to get some supplies before we head out again, so now that you know who I serve are you going to show me what you have or what?"
