I do that too. I actually use my camera on my phone a lot because I don't have a camera...
For some reason, I can receive text messages from a friend but she never receives mine, so I type messages on the computer because it's nice than my writing, take a picture of it, and send her a picture message as a reply.
You may call it weird, because it is, but I call it being resourceful...
