The group separated immediately, one on foot going in one direction, and the other still on the rooftops moving the opposite way. Even though Troden didn't fully understand what was going on, he did know that it had to do with one of the Leaders, more specifically, Lotan. If that beast was awakened, his plans would be severely destroyed.
He must be lying somewhere in the park... he thought as the entrance appeared in front of him. It's the only place where my senses were at their weakest...

Lina turned slightly, slowing to stop as she felt the tension rise around her. Something was already happening. One look at Remus told her all. He was walking as if in a trance, and in his hybrid form no less.
Lotan is calling him... she thought, a little in awe at the sight. But something else in her mind told her about another disturbance coming steadily closer. Troden.

Upon reaching the end of the crowd, the call beckoned more urgently. Remus broke into a run. He ran forward until the tomb was in view. He slowed and watched for a moment. He felt like something else would happen. He knew what he needed to do next, and his heartbeat rose in anticipation.

Lina signaled for everyone to split apart, the sound of rustling clothes in the wind the only confirmation she needed to tell her the command was obeyed as she walked towards the tomb, standing side by side with Remus. She bgan to breath deeply as she waited for the exact moment the she would hear something not many vampires live to tell about.
A beam of the moon's red rays shined down upon the tomb. illuminating the place with and eerie beauty. She felt the temperature around her lower dramatically enough for puffs of steam to come forth from her mouth. The time was now.

Remus felt his instinct come roaring into being. He looked up and the red beams shining on Lotan's tomb connected with his eye. He leaned back his head and howled. The howl echoed through the city and park, feelings of the hunt riding it's cry.

Lina felt herself fall backwards, her whole body glowing with red light. Another howl answered Remus' call, one that had made millions fall to their knees homage. Her hands lifted on their own and released the red light flowing around her onto the tomb's entrance. The howl steadily continued flowing around and through her.
And then she saw it. The roots were relinquishing its treasure. The tomb of Lotan was free at least.

Two handsignals and the men who were following Troden separated as well, leaving two men behind him. It was tim eto spread out and search for the tomb..if it was there. Atleast that is what the men who separated thought. The Rajen leader knew they would only find Lina's minions waiting to attack them...it was only natural for him to give them false hopes.
The lake was near in his sights, the bloodmoon now reflecting over the water. He was standing over it when the howl began, first the one that clearly was Remus', long and full of the hunt. The second was much deeper..and older, "No..."

Remus's howl faded away as Lotan's filled the night. He took one step forward, just enough to be in front of Lina. He turned back to her and spoke the first words since the previous night. His voice had changed as much as his appearence. It was sharper and contained a slight rasp, but it was still Remus. "Lotan's meal... We need that..." He swung his head back towards the tomb to meet the great lycan.

Lina nodded quickly. It was her turn to be speechless now. A quick snap of her fingers combined with a flash of white light and there a large group of the poor souless humans appeared near the tomb.
She felt her own hunger rise just as the door to the tomb opened slowly, revealing a large figure looming behind the entrance. A low growl came forth from the figure, making her go on the defensive.

Remus stepped forward and let out a bark. He made contact with the grey eyes of the ancient leader. His bark contained the images and feelings of flesh, food, friendship, freedom. The language of the wolves passed between them for a few moments, a short series of barks and growls. Uninteligable to anyone other than them, but impressive nonetheless. Lotan's sillouhette gave a nod and stepped forward.

The sounds of the two lycans speaking was beautiful to her ears, no matter if she understood them or not. A language entirely composed of instinct and body movments was something she was all too happy to hear.
She watched the sillouhette move and gestured silently to the group of humans awaiting his hunger, each filled with fear at this strange ceremony. They knew they were the sacrifices and most were resigned to their fate.

Remus finished their conversation with a low whine and stepped back. Lotan emerged from the crypt, the red light glinting off his silver fur. The hair down his back was still black, but everywhere else was a grey color. His eyes grew wide as he smelled the killers. He lept forward, killing off the first one and feeding.
Remus calmly stepped away and looked carefully at Lina. His voice was still raspy, but it sounded closer to normal. "Well... We've released one, and he's on our side." He sounded tired.

There was only one obvious thing he had to do now. Retreat. In a few moments Lina would have told him all that the Leader would need to know before the Lycan destroyed him.
One quick movement and Troden was gone and so was his minions.

"That is good..." Lina said,standing up and walking towards Remus, "I was impressed...Sec.." she felt her magical abilities had been drained from the awakening. She hoped that was all.
