Controlling chakra was probably the least developed skill Amaya had under belt. She'd first discovered this while still in academy. Punching, kicking, throwing, and slicing were the skills that came to her most naturally. But any effective shinobi couldn't avoid that control forever. Once again her eyes moved up the length of the tall building, all the way to the very top. She would make it up there one way or another, even if she had to climb with her own strength. "I won't fall behind" she told herself with quiet determination. Amaya rubbed her hands together before approaching the side of the tower. Counting to three in her head, she took a step back to give a little momentum to jump up and place her feet against the wall. The more practical part of her knew this first attempt at forcing her chakra into such a concentrated task might not go so well, so she was braced to react if her feet did not stick the way she wanted.

Raisuke's feet stuck to the wall with ease. It happened as easily here as it did for the small walls when he was back at the academy. He couldn't help but worry about Amaya's progress already. He looked over his shoulder back down and it seemed she was going to have to use her hands and feet. He sighed at the fact that he couldn't go back down and help her. But even his chakra control wasn't strong enough to pull someone up and not fall. That was probably a stronger chuunin's kind of skill. Unfortunately he wasn't even strong enough to be a chuunin yet. And even if he was, he missed his opportunity. The exams for this year had already started its course. But Rai shouldn't be worrying and thinking to himself caused him to lose his focus on what was ahead of him. As his foot hit a crack in the building he stumbled forward. Since he had been running he kind of fell up. Then he had to brace his hands on the wall to try and keep from falling.

Amaya held steady, adjusting to the odd sense of vertigo that rushed her senses from registering vertical as the new horizontal. She could hear the sound of scrapping shoes against the material of the structure as Rai was having his own challenges getting up the wall. Giglamesh certaintly knew what he was doing with this little set-up. Even if a shinobi was talented wit hchakra, this damn tower would still be difficult to scale for a genin. Amaya took a quick breath and eased her hands away from the wall. Normally people told you not to look down when you were high up. This time around, Amaya was going to have to try not to look up further than she needed too. One step at a time would get this done. Carefully, she moved her feet forward making the next few steps to progress onward.

Giglamesh was waiting at the top looking down leaning against the border of the small balcony, out side of the window like doors that lead in to the library waiting for the two. He had something he needed more research, a great deal of research, but he would not leave his students behind so he would wait for them. Raisuke should be able to come up no problem as he had some good chakra control, but amaya...this is why he wanted to train her this way. He wanted to increase her chakra control, so...same reason he wanted to increase raisuke's chakra control. So he could teach them both Physical Chakra recomposotion, so they could be even better with weapon combat. But the first hurdle was the kage tower, which they had to scale by themselves, he would not aid them with this.

It turns out that Raisuke did the one thing you should never do when trying to keep control on his chakra. He panicked. Not only could he not grip the wall with his hands, but he was losing control with his feet. He was sliding down slowly, like someone trying to keep a grip on a steep hill. Raisuke slid down to where he started almost. He slid down so that he was almost shoulder to shoulder with Amaya. He just looked over to her, then didn't really say anything or change his facial expression. He just turned his attention back to the wall. His message should have been clear. They had to get to the top and had to do it on their own. More strength layed at the top of this tower. The possible chance that they would both become one step closer to their sensei's strength as well.

Zanza looked straight at the man. Something was definitely off, but he couldn't tell what yet. For the moment, he would keep up what his new sensei asked of him, though he was sure that he kept himself a bit of a secret to the new man. Even if his sensei didn't realise it. " As you wish " he said, standing straight and tall in front of the man. Zanza then proceeded to run straight ahead, jumping into the air and twisting his body to the left. He brought his right leg in for a round house kick, but suddenly he realised there was nothing but air where he placed his strike. Zanza landed unevenly, and quickly jumped back several feet. Had he jumped too high? Zanza turned back and looked at the man, measuring the distance. No. If he had jumped higher, he would have landed farther away from where his feet had left prints. He must have dodged. " I can see that your doing you best to toy with me. I suppose i under estimated you. Next time i won't hold back. "

As she placed her foot out before her to support her full weight, Amaya felt the resistenc of gravity yank her foot clean out from beneath her. The initial slip of her foot caused her to lose her concentration and off went the other as well. Instinctively, her hands shot out infront of her to grip what she could as she slid down the side of the tall tower. The dirt and rock was rough against her hands and fingers, but she managed to find a grip before falling completely and hitting the ground. This situation was awfully familiar. It reminded her of the time when Ryoko-sensei had her and the rest of her cell climb the rocky cliffs over the ocean. Accept this time, there was no large body of water to cushion the fall. With a groan, Amaya held her weight up by her arms before being able to concentrate enough to place her fleet solidly back against the wall. She did her best to redirect her chakra back to the bottom of her feet, prepairing to let go with her hands to move back up the tower.

Amaya released her grip on the stone of the tower and slid the rest of the way she hadn't fallen back to the ground. The best thing she could have done for herself was brace for the impact, so as she appraoched the earth, she quickly volted from the building, arching back into a flip and landing loudly on her hands and toes. Her head snapped up to glare at the ominous tower and she cursed quietly to herself. Standing back up, the girl shook ot her wrists and cracked her knuckles, shaking off the fall to start over again. This time she would give herself a little more momentum to work with and try not to think so hard about what she was doing. "OK, go!" Quickly, Amaya ran towards the wall. When she was close enough she hiked up her foot then thrust herself upward, running up the wall, all the while willing her chakra to collect at the bass of her feet to keep her attached to the stone wall beneath her.

((Haha, no worries. Statistically speaking, I'll make it eventually... sweatdrop ))
Running only got her so far before her feet kept moving and she was going nowhere. Then downwards she began to slide back towards the ground. Amaya held out her hands to get a grip again but was meet with nothing but dust as she fell. There was a deep sincere urge to pick up a rock and chuck it as hard as she could into the distance, but that wouldn't help her get up that damn tower any faster. "Would make me slightly less frustrated though," she thought with a snort. She gave a heavy breath then, looking back at the tower. The important information to remember was that she had actually successfully stuck her feet to the wall before, so she knew that she could do this, it was just a matter of how long it would take her. This training would do wonders for her patience as well it seemed.
Eventually, the young kunoichi rolled her shoulders ready for another attempt. She liked the idea of the running start, so she would give that another try. Taking a few extra steps back, Amaya again raced towards the wall. She volted up the first few steps to get herself going, all the while attempting to focus her chakra.

From his current position he was starting to look weak. He was looking as if he had no control over his chakra at all. Hell, he had done better then this as an academy student when he was playing around in the canyon. He needed to buckle down and get moving again. Or Amaya might make it to the top before him. And he knew that Giglamesh would frown on him for that. So he gripped the wall with his hands. The tight clinching causing some sort of emotional reaction that was forcing chakra out of his body. Because he was blowing off enough energy that chakra could almost be seen around him, even though chakra wasn't exactly visible. He would then make a pretty good leap up the tower. Reaching the point where he tripped in no time. It was time to push past that. The top of the tower was waiting for him!

Marcus grinned a bit, "Hehehehe, oh ok, you got me." he began to scratch the back of his head and stuck out his tounge while he was laughing. one of those stupid anime gestures really.
Soon, a plume of smoke appeared next to Marcus and a Jounin was kneeling. "Kage-sama. The council has requested your presence for urgent matters sir."
Marcus face drained. "Ahhh man... what the hell do they want? Can't they see I'm with a student? Tell'm..." He thought on it for a moment. He then began to walk over towards Zanza and turned to walk backwards while facing the Jounin. He then began to wave his body rather strangly, "Tell'm You didn't see anything!"
He would then walk up next to Zanza and smile, "Well, cat's out of the bag. Names Marcus. Call me Kage or Marcus-san or any of that crap and I beat you to a pulp. So, tell me bout yourself squirt."

Giglamesh had grown very tired of waiting, it was as if they weren't trying specifically to piss him off, so giglamesh would head in to the library and begin. He had a general idea of what he was going to do, so he would head over to the log looking for where the books he needed would be located. Three books he was looking for specifically, well specific idea of these books. A book that "contaned the physics of fire", a book on "how fire/heat affects the anatomy of a human." and finally a book on "overheating the human body." He would search and two of those books were titled exactly what he was looking for, Physics of fire, and Overheating the human body. He would search deeper to find a book called "Fire within the body." ..Giglamesh would assume that could work so he had his three, and he would begin to search for them.
He had the numbers from reference, so he would just have to go around the large round room with books located on the rounded walls to find them. He found the "Fire within the body." pretty easy as it was on a self close to the reference catalog. Then he would search for the next number, which would be the second book he needed. "...three nine nine seven .....three nine nine six ....three nine nine five ....there it is." He would have to reach up high with his right hand to slide, "The physics of fire" From off the shelf, he would place it under his left arm where the first book he grabbed was as well. Now...the last one, looked as if the rear number was marked out, or somebody spilled something on it...so he was going to have to guess. He knew the first three numbers so that narrowed it down some...but that still left whole shelf from bottom to ceiling to check. He would scan over the books titles kind of fast, if his vision was better he would be able to do it much faster, but its not so he cant.
Severl minutes would pss of giglamesh just seeming to stand there looking at the book shelf, then he found it...second to very top shelf...Giglamesh would go over and get the rolling ladder and slide it over then climb it grabbing the book and the being fancy he would grasp the outsides of the ladder to slide back down to the floor. With ll three books he believed he needed he would head over to table he was ready to begin.
