O_o wow... the north hill. That's kinda far from everything else isn't it?
I know one guy who lives out there, haven't seen him in school for a couple of days. Connections? I've been here for like 20 days and I only know like 5 people now. >.> But then again, keeping quiet doesn't really work on making friends. sweatdrop

Do you have arthritis or something? O_o

I guess so... I lived at the bottom of the hill when I was there as a kid. Half a block away from my school and the sportsplex. And last ,onth I walked from 1st and Richmond to just over the bridge by the soccer fields and that park... then my bf found and took me back.... then I took the keys and got back in the car right away to try again... ended up my bf tagged along to find out where I was heading lol.

Then later that night I walked from.... Houston's? back to 1st and Richmond. I was kinda impressed with myself considering I don't know the streets of Brandon too well and I was really drunk at the time.

And no, I don't think I have arthritis. Of course, I haven't seen my doctor in almost a year... should probably see him again sometime soon... I have a few things he should check out. But the shoulder thing... yeah, he knows about that... it's a result from a work injury I sustained in August '06 that just won't fully heal. It's getting better though. Around christmas time last year I was in so much pain I broke down and saw a chiropractor. Not in that much pain anymore although some days after work I definitely consider it.

Oly crackers, I remember that sports plex thingy. I come up here every summer since my mom started university. I liked it up here, so I decided to come here. My mom used to live all over Brandon, but I still don't know the streets. I only know of like 2 sev's here. >.> One on 10th and uhh... somewhere on 10th 4laugh Richmond eh? Isn't there a graveyard on that street? No nevermind, that's right beside the movie theater. I live on 2nd street so like... walking to the mall takes like 30min. sweatdrop Kinda slow...
rofl oh man, I was on rosser the other day and this guy was going to try and do something. He came up to me and my friend and said "You got beef!?" I was all like wtf confused eh? He looked at me then walked off. My friend started to walk faster after that. I had no idea I lived so close to the "bad" end of Brandon. I mean... it's fricken brandon... bad parts? rofl

*applause for the drunk walk*
It's very hard to do, but what I want to know is why it is so fun.
Except for the part where your a long way from home and you need the washroom. Like that guy on the bus... that happened on the bus going from home st. to ellice and down portage. (don't know if you know where I am talking about in Winnipeg) or rather, I think it was a bus going to st. vital rofl such a nice place it is.

I haven't seen a Dr. Since I was 15, that's the last time the growing pains were the worst, I just about had to use crutches. >.>

Dude, none of Brandon is as scary as any part of Winnipeg. whee

Seriously, I live less than a mile from the most murders, drug houses, gangs, etc. area of town. gonk But I'll still go for a walk in the middle of the night.

I was mad when I left the bar and prayed to no one that our friends didn't lock their house. Thank goodness they didn't. Everyone locks their houses in Winnipeg. My mom especially. If she's going to be working in the backyard and no one's in the house, she'll lock it. confused

Yeah I know, that's why scary had quotation marks.
So you live not too far off from the north end eh?
I used to live there, until I moved to Peguis... now I live here...

rofl The funniest thing I head was, when this guy I knew was walking down the street, and he got friggin 8-balled for his nuggets. XD sad... but true.

So who's house did you crash at? blaugh
PostPosted: Wed Sep 26, 2007 7:23 pm

Yeah, north of the north end.

There's a north of the north end?!

Yes. Yes there is. mad (I get genuinely asked that a lot gonk )

I crashed at my bf's old roommate's place.

Of course there is a north of a north end. You know... quadrants and stuff. blaugh The north quadrant of... the north end. >.>"
The system works... but I do often ponder why that is a bad area...
Surely it's not because most of the populous is native.
Damn, that would suck, because that's where I would get a bad reputation from. v_v

Sometimes, I want to become like one of those guys who clean up crime or something, vigilante? O_o
You know, like the punisher or something, but I don't want something hardcore like that to inspire it... o.o" that would be bad.

Last time I drank... I crashed on the front lawn... and then I woke up in my gf's bed. >.> Don't ask me how that happened, I do not know. sweatdrop

Asked what now? confused
PostPosted: Sat Sep 29, 2007 3:15 pm

If there really is a north of the north end...

It's the bad area of town because all the desperate people with little money live there... I think. At least that's what makes sense to me... it has nothing to do with race as far as I'm concerned.

Coincidence maybe? confused

Apparently my friends tell me that there is a "nice" end of the north end.
>.> so yeah, see I told you. Quadrants... not only good for math whee
PostPosted: Thu Oct 04, 2007 4:44 pm

Nice... end... you mean just south of Inkster where it's still considered north end?

Peh to quadrants.

Lol, cool!

I remember back when I moved back to Winnipeg from Brandon. Man did that suck. My mom was so much more relaxed in Brandon. When we moved back I wasn't allowed to even walk around the block alone - and not allowed out of the house after 8. confused

LOL @ technology.
It can screw itself so badly if it weren't for the little background programs.
rofl
I literally burst out laughing in class when I found that out.
