I have a key like that on my laptop and I've had to put tape over it so I can feel it before i hit it. I think I managed to set it differently too, but yeah I can understand it can be difficult. I'm glad I don't have to wear that carpal tunnel brace anymore.

I plan for Charm give Yin some cut up food, otherwise waiting for everyone to assemble for pancakes. Maybe Charm will get some attitude like "why is no one eating I made this food its fine". And she'll take a bite for effect xP

I'm working on my reply but I want to run some errands before I finish it. Aylin's going to realize what's going on with Lune and be very deliberate about who she thanks for beakfast in order to get the girl to not only eat but to trust the people in the manor house. But not to worry Kai will catch on and make some private hushed thank yous to Prim for her job on the meal.

Okay so my post for the RP has two baits set for Cel. First, Aylin has a plan concerning Lunette and if she doesn't warm up to it at first that's okay but Aylin does want her to know that someone else cares about her and helped her after the crow attack. Second, I'm deliberately having Aylin be a bit more spiritual than she was five months back because A. there's that whole war thing hanging over her head and B. I'm kind of interested to see if in world Cel with her cleric training picks up on it and asks why she's praying over the breakfast. It's an attempt to give them a bit of a connection and a chance for me to play around with the faith of Aylin's clan.

Hammered out a small post for Kai in response to Prim more than anything. I do kind of want to see what in world Cree does and how Cel has her group respond to things before making a full post for Aylin again.

Ok, my most recent post contains something I have been wanting to happen since day one: the chalice scene. I think Aylin could actually use that as a way to interact with Cel on a clerical basis, since pretty much everyone in the kitchen should have overheard Cel's explanation of the cup anyhow. I think it might serve as a good jumping-off point to strike up a deliberate conversation about the two different faiths between Cel's world and Gaia. Might even get the ball rolling for what Charm has to say.
Oh, and I failed to read the planning thread before reading the actual RP posts and making my post, so that's why things aren't quite set up that way some of you might have been hoping. sweatdrop I'll try to be better about reading planning posts first in the future.

However, you'll notice the subtle reaction Lunette does have to Cel's status. There is a strong degree of powerful energy circling around Cel, and even Lune can't ignore it. Even in her weakened state, Cel's one heck of a mage/priestess. It'll also help to remember that Lune secretly loves fantasy MMOs, so that has something to do with her reaction to Cel as well.
Edit: Added one small thing to the bottom of my RP post.

I'm just bummed you didn't even have any kind of reaction to the fact she brought up the night of the Crow attack and the hospital. At some point she's going to have to talk to someone besides Lorelei who isn't one of your own characters. I'm not mad or anything but it's hard to know what to do and how to respond to things that aren't in direct response to you when it comes to Lunette.
I guess I'm kind of down on the fact that so far nobody's really so far appeared to pick up on the obvious attempt to have Aylin be quite different than she was the last time the Bartobs saw her. I don't know what more I can do to get someone anyone of the in world people to pick up on the fact that five months before this Aylin wouldn't even see herself as a pet person.

EVERYONEOk, so apparently, there has been some distractions going on with the characters at that Manor from the overriding story. I happen to agree that we've had enough social time in the manor. So, unless it ties directly into the impending doom of Barton, can we at least attempt to keep side stories and quests and goldbricking to a minimum. It's hard enough to keep continuity with the sporadic nature of how we post in this rp. But, let's try not to derail this before it gets really interesting by what has essentially been manor stonewalling. And if you have characters in play in an environment full of people, for the sake of the story we cannot afford to just brush off character engagement which might move the main plot forward. Nor can we afford to have any side-plots that take so long to implement that we cannot move forward. Especially, if it is unclear on how those side plots connect to the main plot. I have noticed some bogging down happening in the rp and I'm not the only one. We have to keep communication flowing as well, so NOT reading OOC posts especially if it involves what's happening to your OCs just simply won't work. We should get everyone to pause on rp posting so that we can work together in THIS thread on what exactly what we're going to do. This rp will ultimately not come together if we just haphazardly go at this.
