"If I were showing off, it would be either far more subtle and menacing or much more obvious and nightmare-inducing," he noted with a small smirk before nodding in greeting to Aran and looking over at Katherine. "You can if you wish; however, between the Black library and Mitis's admittedly admirable knowledge of most creatures, we should be able to help identify anything you turn into.""Welcome; is there anything in particular you'd like to browse, or are you only here to pick up your two friends?" Aran asked with a small smile that still held some amusement from Katherine's earlier actions.

Hermione giggled again at her boyfriend. Katherine thought about it and nodded in agreement. "Good point. Do you think your mother will let me borrow those?" She asked as she looked through the rest of the shop with her chosen books. Hermione then noticed all of the spiders. She let out a small whimper seeing them. She quickly was next to Phobius using his presence by her to calm her down. "S-So what books do you got? Any on charms or potions?" Hermione asked Aran. Hey, Harry, will you still like me even if I get more animal-like? Katherine shyly asked when she froze in front of a mirror seeing her eyes were still cat like. She slowly saw it turn back to her normal brown.

"I don't see why she wouldn't," Phobius told Katherine; noting Hermione's distress, he gently took her hand and discreetly 'nibbled' on her fear - not enough to take it away entirely, but enough that she wouldn't find herself suffering from a panic attack. "Well, I have quite the selection of books, and I do keep a few potions around, though for the most part, my stock is ingredients, not the actual potions. As for charms, however, I'm afraid the only charms I'm any good at are the ones I weave into the clothes," Aran answered, pretending not to notice her distress as he nodded to the clothing section. "Of course - why wouldn't I?" Harry replied, genuinely confused as to why that would make him like her any less.

Hermione looked gratefully at Phobius for taking some of her fear off her mind. She kissed his cheek before looking at the bookcase for charms or potion books. Katherine smiled over to Harry, You don't realize how special that makes you to me. Anyone else wouldn't like my weird features. I love you. She said to him as she looked over the clothes.

Phobius turned ever-so-slightly pink at the kiss, but otherwise maintained his stoic demeanor. "Love you too," Harry answered with a small smile... though adorably enough, the hint of confusion in his tone and expression indicated he still didn't get why he'd stop liking her just because she looked a little different.

Hermione picked out some good books before walking back to Phobius. Katherine smiled before saying, "I think I'm done. How about we go get some lunch?" as she walked to the check out with Hermione. Katherine put the two books on runes and three books on crafting. Disiceri blinked awake on Hermione's shoulder as his witch put down the books she was getting on the store counter.

Aran nodded, calmly doing a quick math in their head before telling them the price of the books. (I will not be naming said price because I can't keep the monetary system straight. sweatdrop ) It was slightly higher than most bookstores', mostly due to the value and rarity of some of the books, but still well within the girls' price range. Phobius quirked an eyebrow. "You usually charge more than that," he noted. "Well, it's not often I find someone so eager to learn about Primal Arts; I'd say that's enough to cover a good portion of the cost," Aran noted, looking rather amused even as he nodded to Katherine. Harry couldn't help but crack a small grin, recalling the complete and utter whirlwind Katherine had become as soon as Aran had mentioned he was a Druid. '"Eager"... that's one word for it,' he mused.

((Haha I can't even keep up with the monetary system either. It's ok)) Katherine and Hermione paid. Both looked surprised when Phobius noted that Aran usually charged more. Katherine blushed when she was reminded of her excitement. Harry! She said in his mind blushing harder. "Yeah well, I've just get drawn by that type of magic. Hey Aran, you think you can take a break and have lunch with us?" She asked as she pull her new books in the pockets of her cloak. Hermione smiled at her new books hoping to read them soon.

(Yeah, why couldn't they do simple stuff, like five knuts to a sickle and twenty sickles to a galleon or something?) Aran looked even more amused at that, well aware that she was probably just trying to get him to come with them so she could ask more questions. "Well, I don't see why not," Aran allowed even as he put a "closed" sign up front. Phobius just watched his girlfriend, looking faintly amused at how obviously eager she was to get to reading. Harry just grinned a little more, but didn't comment, instead asking, "So where are we going for lunch?"

((So us muggles couldn't understand it)) Katherine looked at Harry, "Well I don't know. The only one we were shown was the Leaky Cauldron. I don't know of any where else. How about you two?" She asked Phobius and Aran. Hermione was opening on of her books and started to read as the group decided where to eat.

(...Honestly? I think it's more that the majority of wizards are just idiots who love to overcomplicate things.) "The Leaky Cauldron is fine; as long as it has rare meat, I'm not terribly picky," Aran answered, Phobius nodding in agreement beside him... even as the part-boggart boy kept watching his girlfriend, only getting more amused by her bibliophilic tendencies. (Translation for the first bit: I'm too lazy to make up an OC restaurant that probably wouldn't be used much anyway. xd ) "Leaky cauldron it is, then," Harry agreed.

((So true)) Katherine nodded before walking out of the shop, "Yeah either raw fish or meat sounds good right now." She said, "Phobius, be sure to lead Hermione? She sometimes tries to read-walk after she saw me do it." ((Fact: I did that all through out High school. It was awesome)) So what do you want to eat, Harry? She asked him as they walked in to the old pub.

(Huh... me, I generally do an iPod - "Actually, I thought that was just her," Phobius noted with some amusement, discreetly shifting Hermione to keep her from walking into a pole... though inwardly, he had to wonder why Katherine wanted her meat raw... then again, Mitis had a thing for raw meat too, fresh off the animal in fact, so maybe it had something to do with the Primal Arts? "Guess I'll figure it out when I get there. Do they have treacle tart?" was the predictable, hopeful reply.

Katherine looked amused at her boyfriend, I'm sure they have treacle tart but make sure that isn't the only thing you eat. You do need some more meat on your bones. She said to him as she looked in to the pub for a table for the five of them. "Found a table." She said to the group as she walked over to an round table. Hermione blinked looking up from her book, "Phobius, how did we get to the Leaky Cauldron?" She asked her boyfriend confused. Her stomach then growled for food causing the bookworm to blush.

"I know, and I do! ...I just really like treacle," was Harry's defensive, sheepish reply as he followed his girlfriend. Phobius looked faintly amused. "Well, we walked, and I steered you, since you seemed a little too busy to examine your surroundings. I believe we came in when you were just finishing page 11," was the dry reply as he led her to a seat next to the others.
