"Hey Jewels!" Kai walked up behind Jewels and leaned over to check on her. "I saw that you're not feeling well today. I'm sorry if I got on your nerves in Art Class. I should have noticed you were under the weather. Here, I got you a dessert as an apology."

Kai set down the cookie-crumbled pudding with the gummy earthworms sticking out of it next to her plate.

"And now it's just occurring to me that your illness might be a stomach thing, in which case a dessert was really thoughtless." He screwed up one eye and bopped himself on the head. "Man, sometimes I just can't get it right, you know? Look, if there's anything I can do, let me know, all right?"

Vanissha walked away continuing to write 'Vote for Ascreama!' with heart blobs all over her picture posters. Each had a different catch-phrase Ascream would say.

'Oh my Glob! I'll be you're Scream Queen!'
'What goo-d is a spine when you've got slime!' and
''Monsters come togoother!'

placing each one on a table as she passed them. She made certain to wave and smile to each ghoul and boo!

Ah, the lunch room. The one place where boos could hang with boos and ghouls with ghouls.

Now where to sit?

There was Kai and some other new kids, and there was Dash.

But where was Tori?

Hm..

Felix clopped over to Dashner's table to check his second option, "Hey, man, got room for one more?"

Motthew looked around. More people seemed to be talking about it. He just blinked and turned back to Dorianna "Uh... yeah. It was a tiny school. Besides me there were about 7 other students." he chuckled. "Its hard making two teams. Not to mention we all wanted to play different things."

Motthew grinned back at her "Yeah, I am too." he said. What could be greater? This school definitely had promise. All the monsters seemed really cool, especially Dorianna.

Perry raised both hands. "Hey man, i'll lend a hand if you could you know... get your claws into gear and plan a campaign. I'm no political campaigner."

He chuckled at Rory. "It's not the truth that matters shiny bro, people love a good story. Of course.. i've always preferred a little more grounding in reality but hey.. " he shrugged. "never look a gift nightmare in the mouth, or so they say."

Lin could feel the 'stink eye' on himself and the rest of the Tribe as they made their way towards their usual small table in the corner of the creepateria. gryff, of course, carried nothing, as Lin had his arms full of his AND Gryff's chow. His mom had packed his and Atomica's usual lunches, and thrown in a treat (or two) for Gryff as well.

Why was everybluddy so upset, just because Gryff was proving to be 'poison' to his Tombcoming opponents? It didn't seem to bother Gryff, but he was COOL like that. But it was bothering Lin. Lin didn't like monsters to talk smack about his pal.

"Well, it looks like maybe Gryff is a lot cooler than I thought." The voice belonged to Toralei Stripe, and had it not been for the two luscious lass werecat twins present, Lin would have kept right on walking as Toralei continued, "I mean, even I wouldn't sink so low. Bravo!"

"What are ye talkin' about?" Lin frowned in faux annoyance.

"Oh! Of course. It's hush hush." Toralei winked. "And you can't read the gossip because of your little...(no offense) problem with electronics."

The twins giggled and Toralei winked. "We understand. So we took the liberty of having a copy printed up for you."

She held the paper up in Lin's face and his eyes darted about, taking in the details...

Lunch continued when...

*CRASH!*

"GRYFF DID NOT POISON RORY!!!"

Lin forgot all about his and Gryff's spilled lunches as he turned and marched away, fists balled.

"SPECTRA!!!"

Eyes tuned swifty to the confrntation on the other side of the creepateria where Lin and Spectra were engaged in a shrieking match, and Lin was holding his own against the ghoul ghost in that regard!

"That is slander! Lies! All of it! I am telling Headless Headmistress on you! I'll show you!"

Lin proceeded to march out of the creepateria, with a protesting Spectra floating after him!

Marceline winced at the sound of the shrieking gremlin, almost losing her balance on her skates; fortunately she was able to right herself and glided over to the table she shared with Dashner and Rory. Unusually, she was empty-handed... she'd prepared a helping of jamboolaya for lurch but had forgotten it at her doomitory.

"Sorry I'm late," She exhaled, her stomach groaning. "I figured since I didn't have anything to eat today that I'd get a dead start on studying for finals. Not that I'm worried about failin', or anything..." She bit her bottom lip, worried that might've sounded arrogant.
