Eva was surprised to find that she was still alive--or rather, still in existence--when she opened her eyes and glanced around. She found herself surrounded by people--friends, comrades, and even former opponents--and a small, soft smile curled on her lips. One last chance to say hello and goodbye to everyone who had been sucked into this mess.

Which was, obviously, everyone here.

She moved through the crowd, stretching her arms out to hug and rub her cheek against all the familiar faces that caught her eye. Sure, she wasn't a Viera anymore, but who was going to stop her?

Leave it to Belladonna to ask for forgiveness when she was in the right all along. All of them had. He pressed the kiss for a little longer before finally pulling back with a terribly sheepish look. "Of course. I never should have doubted you to begin with," he replied softly as he straightened them back up. "Please forgive me in return . . ."

He turned in time to be beset by a hug from the normally mischievous tiefling rogue, which surprised the king enough to bark a laugh as he returned it. "It's been a fine time, hasn't it? Go then, and know the guards and I won't forget your list of thefts either~" He patted the boy off and watched as Aj went to give Ofelia a goodbye hug as well, sensing the simmering anger still within the brawler of a woman. In a sense he owed an apology as well - Mort had promised his subjects he would join them on the battlefield but had been been diverted away due to . . . straining circumstances. Apologetic looks were a start, but that was all he gave the female tiefling for now; Ofelia was the type who would step forward when she wanted, and he would not press her faster than needed.

Sophie was given an apologetic smile as well; he remembered all too well the diatribe he had given the alchemist before. "I'm not very good at hating, I think. Anger yes, but not hate. Though . . ." He turned thoughtful, lightly pinching his chin. "I wouldn't say you're not real. You are all very real to me, after all, even if this life isn't what yours actually are. What is reality if not absolutely subjective?" he posed with the grin of he-who-liked-to-ask-questions. "We were given parts and lived out our lives - does that not mean this too exists?" It was a good thing Sophie went to go bother her brother because otherwise Mort would have begun talking in circles.

Though Belladonna did get a meaningful look meant to have her seriously consider that. He had kept a hand held in hers and at this time squeezed it gently before turning to try and call Sin back. More words would be spoken to her, but it bothered him to have the eladrin still so down. "I'll have you know this isn't a proper time to sulk, Lady Sin!" Mort chirped. "Why, we're in a void now! Voids are the most absolutely best place to begin creating something new, wouldn't you think? Nothing to get in the way, no presets, no restrictions. The game has been reset, the glitches fixed, and now we can start a new file!"

And speaking of new files - "Eva!" the king exclaimed. "Your lovely ears are missing! Did you know this?" What a terrible tragedy. (。・ˇдˇ・。)

She was here again..why? This was wrong. She should be home. For a moment Candace nearly panicked, afraid she would never wake up, that all her hard work was for...nothing. She didn't want to live in this dream world where everything was just wrong, where all her dreams came true without even trying. No. It...

The whispering voice calmed her. Candace relaxed again, looking to Jing as he proposed a toast. She didn't know these people, not her. The Other Candace knew some of them...

Though..there were a couple..

She could pretend for them just a little longer. She smiled, raising her hand in pretend toast along with Jing. They were all so happy. Let them stay that way. Candace sighed, forcing her smile to remain for their benefit only; it was out of the ordinary for Candace to do something that did not benefit her in any kind of way.

She just wanted to go home now.

"We really know how to throw a party, hm?" Candace chuckled, looking around until she spotted that head of curled hair. Her smile softened, watching as others said their goodbyes. Might as well leave on a good note. She approached the girl, leaning down to press a sweet kiss against her forehead. "You be a good girl now. Blue suits you, even if you preferred Silver." She playfully tapped the underside of Olivia's chin before she walked away, stopping in front of G.

"I'm sorry for what was done to you." It had been a waste. They had sacrificed themselves for nothing. "If I find the real you I'll be sure to give him a big hug." She wouldn't but she could pretend she would.

To Ying she grinned and leaned down to her level. "You're a strong girl. I like that. You're very lucky to have a brother like Jing."

She continued walking after that, nodding to the Hunters she knew. She stopped in front of Rep, frowning and continuing on to stand before Harrison. "I'm sorry we betrayed you..." We had no choice. "Your Candace...she would never have done that..you had her undying loyalty and friendship." Just like the real Harrison had hers.

Finally she stopped in front of the pillar that had promised her she could go home, turning to the group again. She smiled, waved, and turned to the white pillar again. "I'm ready. Take me home."

She needed to see Harrison, needed to know he was awake. That their efforts hadn't been a complete waste.

Mitsu smiled, feeling a sort of warm sensation spread through her at his words. It was nice to know Shun had enjoyed their time together. She wondered where they would be if all of this had been real. Would they have had a tragic ending or would they have had a happily ever after? It didn't really matter now but it was an idle thought.

"Oh, by the way." She brought back her hand and punched him in the arm. Thankfully she wasn't anywhere as strong as the original Mitsu. "That was for killing me." Somewhere in her mind that was an even payback for the whole situation. Once that was done she reached up, slipping her fingers under the mask that covered his face and pulled it down so that when she leaned up she could press a kiss to his lips. She blushed at her rather bold action but she didn't want to regret anything.

Pulling back she tried not to look embarrassed by herself. Normally she wouldn't just jump in like that but it was the end after all. It was all or nothing. "And that's for keeping your promise to say goodbye."

Ofelia accepted the hug from AJ on accord, wondering inside who or what he was and if they'd ever really meet again. It was strange to think those things - why did she have them in mind to start with - but none the less the hug she gave was affectionate and true in return. She would find AJ again, once this was over, and properly tell him how she felt.

But it was then that she noticed Mort was looking at her, looking ashamed or something, and the woman known as Ofelia marched right on over to him and placed a hand on either side of his shoulder. Then, typical Ofelia, she gave him a headbutt because you lied you jerk and that didn't matter that he was talking to someone else. His attention would be hers and hers alone for the moment.

"So, is this how it ends?" Was that all she really had to say or was there something more?

Shun was surprised by the sudden punch to the arm, but it didn't hurt. If.. it had been the real Mitsu though... well. He was.. fairly certain he could still take it. Though she could probably break his bones with her hits if she really wanted to.

"It helped awaken you though didn't it?" he pointed out. He didn't sound defensive or angry that she had just hit him. It was just a matter of fact. The punch was one thing, but he definitely did not expect what was coming next. The Reaper's eyes widened for the moment as she pulled his mask down and pressed a kiss to his lips.

As surprising as it was, it wasn't unpleasant to say in the least. There was a sense of familiarity in it, though it was still slightly different at the same time. His expression softened and he reached out to lightly brush his fingers against the side of her face.

"You better take care," he said quietly. Yes, he knew that she was going to fade away soon, but that didn't mean she couldn't make the best of it before it happened.

The first thing to return to her was feeling. Then her sight. Then her memories.

Millie laughed with abandon, unable to contain the sheer joy that counteracted the misery that had been inflicted in her final moments. Looking around, she realized that the same thing had happened to every one of them. She had not been blind and alone in that tower all along.

She had been surrounded by members of her kingdom and the other kingdoms alike.
OOC
and thankfully she never noticed the Black king trying to stab her into oblivion. *shot*

Looking around at the room that seemed to be getting fuller by the minute, Millie looked around for anyone she might recognize. Where was her king? Where was Jove? Anyone else from her kingdom? The black and white pawns she had attacked on the battlefield in a blind fury? There was so much to make up for...

The blackness had been all engulfing. He had already been feeling numb after the horrible act he had had to perform, but after being enveloped in silence and darkness for who knew how long, Jerry's mind had dipped back into a safer part of his brain. Two men, both scared physically and mentally, both finding coping mechanisms and acceptance where every they could.

The Mission had been complete. They had rescued who they had set out to rescue, hadn't they?

Would Harrison forgive him? Would he remember? Would Jordan and Rep and Candace all look at him the same way?

Could he look at himself the same way?

Dimly, through his own delirium, he could hear the Voice once again... for a moment there were lab techs, and light and sound and incomprehensible voices before he was back again, amongst a milling crowd all pressing heartfelt goodbyes to each other.

He spotted a few of his Kingdom- of the Other Jerry's Kingdom, never his own. And what of Roar?

The man was standing not too far away, looking about as exhausted as Jerry felt. He didn't argue as Roar's arms were suddenly around him in an assuring (if manly) hug, patting the battered smaller man gently on the shoulder, "You're a good Partner. You did good." He murmured. "Don't worry about it. They all won't."

Sheridan had not expected to exist in this moment, but it was a gift he gladly accepted. It may have been only a moment, but what was a moment? He could live a life time in a moment, he could see his children and watch them grow, he could see his kingdom thrive and prosper, he could grow old and live to the end of his days, and buildings could rise and fall in decay. For all he knew, all that had happened until now had passed in only a moment, though it had felt like years to him, it could have been as brief as a breath to those in reality.

He no longer thought of time or fragments, but only of the life he lived. There was no sorrow, no goodbye, only a small boy held in his arms, a young girl who sat at his feet holding the stuffed bear he had given her.

"I wanna go play!"

"Alright, go ahead."

He watched as the ran off in whatever game entertained children at that age, smiling quietly to himself. How long he watched them he did not know, it could have been until eternity or it could have been only a flash.

At last he turned, though if it was to the pillar itself or the presence within he could not have said.

"Thank you..."

It might have awakened her but sometimes being blissfully ignorant was better. There was nothing she could change now and not knowing wasn't going to stop this world from coming to an end. It was something she had accepted now and it didn't bother her like it had. Maybe it was being given these last few moments to give a proper goodbye. She had come back from death twice after all.

Leaning into Shun's hand Mitsu nodded. "You as well. Be sure to take care of the real Mitsu. You said you knew her right? And don't forget about your other promise. You said you wouldn't forget." She reminded.

Concetta power walked, hips swaying and brow set into a scowl. The look only relaxed when she hopped up a moment to kiss Roar on the cheek. It was polite and she grinned at him before dropping back down, grabbing Jerry by the shoulder, and slapping him across the face.

This was followed by her grabbing him by the shirt and kissing him.

Then followed again by him being pushed off, as if he was the culprit, and him being slapped again.

After that the petite woman grinned devilishly and nodded. "Nice ta see you again." A last time.

Shun nodded before moving his hand away from her face and dropping it towards his left hand. There was no ring on his finger there for him to feel, however.

"Yes. I know her very well," he said softly. He might not have said it outright, but it likely wasn't too hard to figure out what the real Mitsu meant to him. He sure as hell was going to do what he could to take care of her, "And don't worry. I won't forget. I won't be the only one too."

As the sword and staff materialised, Rep knew finally what and who had been protecting them this long against whatever entity was behind the voice. It was impossible for him to mistake Excalibur for anything other than what it was, he'd only seen the blade on the rarest of occasions, but that was all it took. The weapon of weapons and protector of Deus, it wasn't a sight that you forgot readily. Presumably, the staff and black pillar were Merlin, he was sure he even recalled his voice a little, or at least the irritation dripping from every word.

Whatever the creature, the voice had been was contained and just as he was wondering if this was it, if it was finally over, the white pillar spoke.

'They're waiting for you, your own versions of Kings. You have played the greatest part of the hero, and your home awaits you now'

The surge of emotion was almost overwhelming. He could go home. He could have Harrison again.

He would have left straight away if it wasn't for the lingering feeling there were things to tie up here. Fragments they may have been, but to him, that other self, the Rep he'd denied so much by inhabiting his place in the world, they had been everything. He owed it to him, to himself to find closure for his sake, the way he would want if it turned out that everything he knew was but the dream of someone else.

He took in the others, this time letting the false memories guide his thoughts. Blue Kingdom. Or what had been, some were silver now, changed by the touch of the pillars, but to him, that other Rep, they were forever blues. The twins, who had pulled through to the very end, loyal to the kingdom despite the hardships it had dealt them. The others there just hadn't been time to get to know in his duties, Taima, Serafina, Sepheran. The other Rep knew their names. Riyo and her majestic and terrible drunken songs, Matt and his exquisite work. The doctors too, Rin and Malodore. Even boob lady - he never learned her name - was there, and Andrew, the man of the hour at the tower. Even the silver Olivia.

It was strange to address Sammy. She seemed so different in this world from back home, but maybe that was just a point of perspective, maybe the Sammy that liked to lecture him and start fights, - the Sammy that called him flower boy with such derision and who'd wrecked his mending shoulder - was loyal and self sacrificing and true. "He would have been proud of what you did." he said, looking away, loathe to meet her gaze. "You weren't a mercenary. You were family."

G too got his attention, and he smirked, not so differently from how the blue Rep so often did. "He thought you were a good sort from the minute he saw you. I'm glad his judgement was as good as mine."

Melvin, he couldn't look at, simply couldn't bear to, but he spoke because he had to. "He would never have laid a hand on you. He wanted to show you the view from a world that was safe and strong, where you would never need to run or be afraid. He wanted to be your friend, and to protect you. But he couldn't protect you from me."

And Nuk. He curled his lip in distaste as he spoke, but the words had to be said. "He wanted to help you. In a world where the rules are different. I am different in more ways than there will ever be time to know. But he cared about you, saw himself in you. He wasn't out to harm you the way I did."

He nodded to them then, he didn't raise a toast because deep down he felt he didn't have the right. He'd done too much damage in the name of finding the one he loved, he'd been an imposter in their world and had sewn murder in their ranks.

The most painful task however, remained. He eyed Harrison. Not his Harrison, but a man he'd come to respect. He'd taken pity on him in his darkest hour and it was his only regret he couldn't do that now. He approached him yet kept his distance.

"Your Rep's gone on ahead. Wherever you guys go. I felt the connection snap.He wasn't bothered about it, he was just sorry he couldn't be there to help you. And I'm sorry he couldn't either. He seemed like he was pretty intent on finding you again though. Somewhere." It was difficult to keep his voice level. "And I know he will. Because I would." He trailed off, trying to reign in his emotions. "You don't need me to tell you what you already know about his feelings, but I can tell you at least that the man who you gave your power to, who swore to be by your side, was no imposter." The last thing he'd done was wave. He'd thought it was a hello when really it had been a farewell. B0nez got a nod. "He thought you were ******** amazing but you knew that too. I think you are pretty amazing aswell. I'll tell my B0nez about you."

There was nothing more to say, the others were with him, and even before Candace passed him by, he knew there were issues to face on the outside. And he would when he got there.

He moved to Tracey's side, the angel giving him a lop sided smile, mocking, playful but deeply affectionate.

"I'll miss your ugly mug." he said to him. "But I'll be glad to have you back in my head."

Tracey quirked a brow. "Glad? Hah. I'd never know with all your jacking gratitude."

He threw his arms around him tightly, a genuine hug. "You know how I feel okay."

Tracey smiled. "I know William."

"Lets go home." he said, Harrison was waiting.

"Just a minute" Tracey said, untangling himself from Rep and seeking out Jordan in the crowd, making straight for Ferros and seizing him in a rather enthusiastic kiss which he dragged out as long as he got away with. Only then did he come back.

"Home." he said, with a sassy little defiant smirk at Rep, who gawked at him.

"..e..eh.. Aye. Right. Home."

And they were gone.

He blinked at the giggle somewhat taken aback at her rather cheerful attitude with the whole situation. She didn't seem too bothered, so he'd likely let it go. But still...

Both eyes narrows at the boy and he shook his head. "Simply because it is 'normal' for one Kingdom does not for another. Or have you forgotten that some of us were from the Silver Kingdom initially?" He wasn't entirely aware for Andrew, but he knew himself and Olivia were both from silver. And you did NOT just go around grabbing people and kissing them there. So it wasn't normal in his book. Nope, not at all.

Though the next question was fairly pointed and caused abit of a flush as he glanced off, crossing his arms. "That is not the case. I am in a relationship. She's... more like family." And it was perfectly normal to protect ones family. He didn't want to kiss her, but merely ensure her safety and happiness. It was as simple as that. "You don't need to be in love with someone to desire their happiness and well-being." He added after a few seconds. It didn't change the fact he'd been a bit flustered by the accusation of sorts. He was NOT jealous.

Nope. He had Kashiyoru, that was more than enough... which made him wonder just where the fellow was actually. He hadn't seen him since they all reappeared.

Rex was content, perhaps more content than he had ever been. This was not because he had discovered some great truth or inner peace. No, it was because he had at last found that thing he sought the most, that which he had longed for since...ever (or at least this morning), he had found FOOD!

The raptor sat quite happy, munching on delicious sandwiches. He held one in each hand, with another waiting on his lap, and maybe there were some cookies too. Mmm...delicious sandwiches and cookies! What kind they were did not matter, he may not have even tasted them with how quickly he scarfed them down, all that matter was that they were edible.

Ah, yes at last he was content, he was full, not that that was going to stop him from eating that other sandwich though!

Rising to his feet, Rex scarfed another sandwich, shoving the entire thing in his mouth in one bite. Another in his hand, he stalked around the room, exploring, his gaze shifting between various individuals. Finally he stopped, staring at one person in particular, did he recognize her? He wasn't sure, but he thought he did.

"Sandwich?"

He held out the sandwich in his hand. There may or may not have been a bite taken out of it. >.> Or...maybe he was asking if she had any sandwiches, he'd eaten all the ones he had after all.
