I keep my gaze on Ayumu. "I have every right to be upset. If Jasmine supervises all the beginning missions like she did ours and still lost recruits, then I can only assume that it isn't in the commander guidelines to ensure the lives of the recruits and train them to be stronger if they're lacking on the first mission. Thus, I can only come to the logical conclusion this organization doesn't always follow the widely-recognized military moral of 'No man left behind.' Seems that as long as we don't taint our soul gems, we remain expendable until we are proven to be reliable soldiers." I turn my gaze to Jasmine. "Am I guessing along the right lines, Leader?" My voices drips with sarcasm at the last word.
((Oi, don't make Jasmine be a b***h again. Chi has every right to pissed off.))

She stood up and looked at chi, tears in her eyes"ONEESAN!, Stop it."she sniffed a few times"I admit there was danger, but we got through it didn't we, if you continue like this, your soul gem will get worse, please...calm down"she said still in tears hating people getting in arguments.

"Don't make assumptions and accusations like that unless you're aware of the whole thing, Chi! Think about it! Our enemies are people who are more experienced and more powerful than us. People die in battle, just because they do doesn't mean the leader is ditching them behind to die!" I say with a rather strong zeal in my voice. This wasn't out of blind loyalty; this was because Jasmine HAS saved me from a very dire situation already, and that last battle really didn't seem to get bad enough to need her intervention. It actually felt pretty good to me to have done so well in a first battle without need! After my little speech, I sit back down, rather shocked that had so much invested emotion to begin with.

Ayumu: "See?" Jasmine says with a smile. "Fear will only be there if you let it."
Nekora: Jasmine laughs.
Emmy: "As you wish," Jasmine says, a little disappointed.
Misaki: "So they say," Jasmine says.
Chi & Ayumu & Nekora: Jasmine listens to you quietly, her hands pressed flat together with her thumbs resting on her chin and her index fingers touching her upper lip. Finally, once everyone is quiet, she sits up straight and sighs. "The Order was founded on the principles of maintaining peace and order in the realm of mortal men," she begins. "To be frank, you're wrong. The girls I lost to first missions were often reckless, but those who were not were lost because we couldn't get to them in time. Most were captured by an enemy we either failed to kill or did not see. In the rare chance that I did get there in time, the reason they died was because it was a trap. Our organization follows 'no man left behind' as closely as we can. We have lost entire teams to their first mission, usually along with the Scribe sent with them. In the rare chance that the Scribe is the only one left, they are usually demoted heavily for failing to bring back even one recruit, and instead saving themselves. Unless they can prove that their survival was sheer luck, that is. I've nearly died at least twenty times, usually when I was trying to save a recruit. Of the ten recruits I've lost, seven nearly cost me my life during an attempted rescue." She grows silent.
Everyone: Your food and drinks arrive. Jasmine thanks the maid, but does not touch hers.

Emmy quietly, in a very hushed voice added to Jasmine, "I just didn't want to add more fuel to what was turning into and became a blazing proverbial fire." The conversation had taken a turn for the worse, in her mind, and had left a sour note in her stomach. After that conversation, she, all of a sudden, lost much of her appetite.

The issue (seemingly) resolved, I relax myself, distracted by the wonderous food in front of me. I gingerly take the knife and fork by my plate, and set them aside. Then, I grab a steak with my sharpened nails and rip a bit chunk out of the savory meat like a jaguar eating it's prey.

She just took her cookie and sat down, nibbling on it, feeling like she had gotten Chi into trouble.

I fidget awkwardly at the situation at the table even though it seems to have resolved. I try to thank the maid when she brings the food, but I speak to quietly to be heard. Not sure of what to do, I just ignore the awkward tension and begin eating.

Everyone: After a moment of silence, Jasmine snaps her fingers. Her meal becomes wrapped up in a little bag. She takes the bag and stands up. "I think I'll eat outside tonight," she announced. She then leaves the room.

I look up, scraps of food over my mouth and juices from the steak dripping from my hands and a little from my lips. "To purrsue or not to purrsue, that is the question..." I say, still grasping the meat in my hands. "This could be a matter where being the suppurrtive furrend could be helpful, or purrhaps she needs a moment to herself..." I say, licking one of my hands clean.

She looked at Chi"Oneesan, that is Chicken Ceaser Salad, it already has Ceaser dressing on it, that is gonna ruin it!"she said a bit disappointed and began to nibble on her steak, not even bothering to cut it, so the juices slowly ran down her face and neck.

I glance at Ayumu and cast a disaproving look at her lack of table manners. "I happen to like a little extra dressing on my salad. It's a matter of taste."
