Even if I can incorporate Mamizou's Ten Desires spell cards into attacks, I t)(ink t)(at )(er attacks from )(opeless Masquerade s)(ould be Mystic Arte-level, as t)(ey seem quite powerful w)(en described. Unless t)(at's a bad t)(ing, in w)(ic)( case I would say t)(at only "Band of 808 Tanuki" would be Mystic Arte-level 3XD
I thought that's what you were actually going to do. surprised The danmaku-forms could last only a few seconds (like, they'd disappear after performing a certain attack or colliding with a target) and she could only end up conjuring a few of each form to prevent it from being overkill. I imagine it like this:
First Duel "Primate Danmaku Transformation" - Two human-shaped danmaku appear and stand at the sides of the battlefield, throwing diamond-shaped danmaku at the enemies for a few seconds until they disappear. They also disappear when an enemy collides with them, which causes a burst that deals damage.
Second Duel "Carnivorous Danmaku Transformation" - Four dog-shaped danmaku that charge at the enemy/ies and explode upon impact.
Third Duel "Avian Danmaku Transformation" - Eight small birds that basically do the same thing as the dogs, only they're flying.
Fourth Duel "Amphibian Danmaku Transformation" - Six frogs that hop around aimlessly until colliding with an enemy/ies and explode into diamond-shaped danmaku, or they explode on their own after a few seconds.
From there, I'd leave out the rest of the Duel spell cards that throw in all of the above forms, to even things out. I'd say those are Mystic Arte-level, but the spells you bring in from Hopeless Masquerade already fulfill that role. Only, I think the Bunbuku Hot Soup Bathtub could just be on par with an Advanced-tier spell. I'd also suggest her Skills from Hopeless Masquerade being the equivalent of weapon-based artes. 3nodding

Again, it's just a suggestion, but I think it'd be fun to see her do that with the other characters. xd The transformation could only last a short time so that this kind of move wouldn't be um, abuse-able.

But to be honest I also started checking it out because the characters also sounded...well, powerful and toeing the line of godmoddy in some cases (IMO, Flandre Scarlet and Yukari Yakumo throw up the brightest flags for me) so I thought I oughta be prepared to deal with such characters someday.

But come to think of it, Flandre still has the usual vampire weakness to sunlight. I don't think she'd be burned to ashes (Gensokyo's vampires look a lot more resilient than that to me), but at the very least her powers could be diminished greatly. She's still a problem if running freely at night, though. D8
So of the two, I wouldn't allow Flandre in the RP, period.

Ahh right, I tend to forget that word names the genre too. But it is also a general term for "barrage", so that's why the word can also refer to the bullets/bullet storms.

Thanks. Please let me know if I do. I'm not sure about the scope of his abilities normally, but in Oblivion he apparently teleports the player into the air if attacked. I think he can also manipulate weather a bit. He created the Wabbajack, which has random effects on living targets, including transformation. I was thinking that he might appear in somewhere where Niflheim's influence is strong (miasma and stuff), possibly allowing him to manipulate stuff a bit, but not as much as if he were in his own realm of Oblivion (or Pelagius' mind). Perhaps he could put people through a crazy maze of insanity in exchange for "information" on Niflheim's plans or something. xd
Speaking of madness, I'm now tempted to submit Cthulhu in his Cthulhu Saves The World incarnation (where his powers were sealed, and the only way to regain them was to become a true hero)... But that can wait.
