Vasile ran along the beach in this running shorts and smile. By know, the pads on the bottom of his feet had thickened and calloused, completely removing his need for shoes no matter what terrain it seemed.
Vasile had to admit, while most of the changdes were horrible, he moved with a grace now that no Hollywood training n the world could match. He no longer would job in a straight line, but with almost no effort at all could scramble up rocky crags or room around beach debris like an obstacle course.
Today he was running around a part of the beach he didn't normally go to. Mostly because there was no one he could admire along the most common area of the beach today... so he was up for some new scenery.
He slowed down a bit as he noticed someone in the distance. Pausing only momentarily, Vasile sound a rocky outhanging that could make for a very good observation desk. He jogged over to it and hopped up, trying to see who was in the water.
WHOA! They're naked!
Vasile blinked and tried to recognize who it was. It took a second, then it registered. Antony! Vasile didn't really care too much for the lass, but he had no reason to hold a grudge. Last time he saw her at the beach bar she seemed pretty down. "Nice view," he called to her.

A white furred head suddenly popped up more alertly at the voice, a hand going up to shade the bright sunlight from her eyes as she peered at the source of the interruption.
Vasile.
Antony chuckled to herself and simply allowed herself a few backstrokes before treading water again. Once a tease, always a tease, and since she didn't know about his apparent trip to the other side, he was fair game. "It's better from where I'm at," she called in return, running her hand through her hair to tussle it from being slicked back to her scalp.
She was always up for a little fun.

Vasile sat down on the rock and pulled his tail into his lap. He blantantly stared at all skin that was exposed. It wasn't bad to look at, but a part of him cried at the fact that it obviuosly didn't have the effect it used to. The old Vasile would be naked in the water, trying to bed her already.
"Want company?"

"I wouldn't mind," she replied noncommitally, continuing to tread water. She found that her ankle didn't hurt as much when she was swimming. Maybe this would be a good thing to add on top of her physically therapy she was supposed to be doing?
Either way, a bit of non-sex exercise would do her good.

Vasile smirked and in a quick motion, discarded his bathing suit, leaving it on the rock.
He jogged down to the water and headed in, enjoying the feel of the water on his fur. He dover under to get his hair evenly wet, then made his way over to Antony. "What's up? Its been a while."

"Celebrating the departure of my cast," she explained, but paused when she realized he had never seen her with the cast. "I broke my leg a month or so ago..." Leaving it at that, she absently flicked some water at the fox man and changed the subject moments later. "What have you been up to?"

"Oh, well congrats then," by default looking towards where her ankle would be under the water. "What happened?"
At her question, a chesire grin spread to his face and his ears turned a shade of red deeper. "That's a loooooong story," he mused.

"To make a long story short, while fleeing from an island predator, instinct took over and I ended up falling from a tree." The squirrel woman commented, raising an eyebrow at his mention of a long story. "Is it a good story?"

"Well, its interesting to say the least," he admitted, idly swimming around a bit, using his tail as a rudder. He looked rather odd all drenched with water, but not fluffy. "I think the docs are messing with my brain chemistry or something. Lots of things been changing with me that have nothing to do with foxdom."
He paused for a moment.
"Ruined it between Cass and I. We ..went our seperate ways."

Simply listening to him, Antony didn't know what to make of the doctors messing with 'brain chemistry' as she put it. Everyone was getting new instincts weren't they? But, Vasile had mentioned it had nothing to do with his animal.
An inquisitive look was sent his way before he mentioned the break-up.
"Sorry to hear that. Though, I've never... Well not never, but let's just say I'm not a relationship person anymore." Something in her tone suggested it wouldn't be wise to ask what had changed her mind in the first place.

Vasile cocked his head. "You never really did strike me as the 'relationship' person anyway." He shrugged. "Neither did I, I suppose. But I gave it an honest cry with Cass." His ears flicked back and he chucked bitterly to himself. "But I guess thats just not for me I suppose. I feel so horrible about Cass, though. She was a good friend.. but I don't think she wants to talk to me anymore."

"That's what happens when the s**t hits the fan usually," she commented absently, moving towards the shore so she could at least stand a bit and rest for now. "Maybe it'll all blow over at some point? I haven't seen her since that night at the Beach Bar."

Vasile followed along. "Aye, I hope. Though I can't blame her. She's been having a rough time with her changes and everything. She thinks...well, you know. That she's like.. unlovable now or something. And I'm sure that's my fault. ******** doctors."

"I went through a phase like that for a while, though it was ******** instead." Antony seemed rather nonchalant about that fact, and simply shrugged, "But I'll be the first to admit that she, transformation wise, has it worse off than most people. I'm happy I'm still a mammal."

"I hate what's happening to me. But everytime it seems I try to vent to someone, I ended up just getting guilt tripped becasue I've been pretty 'lucky.'" He shrugged. "I do kind of feel bad about it sometimes. But I'd like to be able to b***h and not have to seeem, hmmm.thankful? Does that make sense. I mean we're all getting ******** here to some degree."
