 OAKKIT"Ummmmmm...." Oakkit mewed, absolutely and one hundred percent confused by Joykit's question. In fact, Softkit was-- "I'm right here," she heard him mumble, stretching his head around hers so he could glare at the other kit. [Oakkit looked frantically between the two of them, back and forth and back and forth.] "Well, I think I'm in your guys' way, so I'll just... go over... over there!" [She stood up quickly and took a moment or two to shake the dust from her pelt, then she bolted out of there. Why should she act like that? Why should she feel so strange? Joykit HAD interrupted a rather intense discussion between the two kits, but... well, Softkit was HER brother! Why didn't she just tell Joykit they were busy talking? Why did she have to just run off like that? She batted at her ears in frustration.] I know! I should go congratulate the Embergaze and Cloverpaw![Oakkit pranced happily to the middle of the clearing where the new apprentice and warrior sat, looking so proud. Her whiskers and tail began to jump with excitement.] Embergaze was a warrior now! [Softkit had whispered to her excitedly when his warrior name was called.] "Embergaze! Oakkit! Maybe this means you won't have to put off becoming an apprentice!"[Oakkit brushed against Breezekit, gripping to herself again about her mentor-less state. Oakkit snorted with contempt, settling to a little hiss over an apology. In Oakkit's mind a complianing cat was just as bad as a kittypet. They were just too soft to live life as a clan cat. Out of all the cats in the clan, it was that kit that Oakkit didn't like.] [She didn't look back as she finally reached Embergaze, already beginning his vigil. She sat down about a tail length from him, eyes sparkling and chest puffed out with pride. This cat deserved to be a warrior! He was the bestest of the best!] He saved my brother. He saved me. This is the only cat I will ever learn from.[she sat still and tall, dark ears pointed and alert. She didn't say a word, but she was going to support Embergaze by sitting there and watching vigil with him, the cat the respected most of all.]

 . : :R o s e w i n d : : .*Things are going so well right now. And there are still more kits that need to be appreniticed. Who knows? Maybe some cats will end up with more than one apprentice.* [Rosewind flicked her tail in joy for Breezeclan.]

[Icepaw nodded to Galespirit, still uncertain. Icepaw padded up to Rushstep and dipped her head lightly.]
"I'm infected and Galespirit told me you might be able to help. I wanted to ask you if you could help me."
[Icepaw said quietly.]

 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze slowly opened his eyes. He had fallen asleep standing up. He looked around, realizing daytime had come, and he could speak again.
He looked over and saw Oakkit staring at him again, with a sort of grateful look in her eye.]
Blinking, he said, "Hello Oakkit. Thanks for coming to my warrior ceremony...just think, now that I'm a warrior, I can get an apprentice! I can't wait for it...but I suppose I have to wait, eh?"
[He felt strangely comfortable with the kit. He shook his shoulders, cracking the joints with a sigh of relief.]
(( Let's just pretend Embergaze has no idea Oakkit's gonna be his 'prentice. >D ))

OAKKITooc: fine with me! I don't think Oakkit really knows, either. She just really, really hopes so. BIC [Oakkit's eyes widened and she gave a little shriek when Embergaze spoke to her. It had been so quiet, she'd fallen asleep with her eyes open! How embarrassing! Her face grew hot and she ducked her head to hide it.] "No problem, Emberpa-- I mean, Embergaze! It's about time you made warrior!" [She beamed up at this big cat in a sudden change of mood. She was just so happy for him, so proud!]

 M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf flicked Cloverpaw on the ear to get his attention. Once she had his attention, she signaled for him to follow and they soon found themselves gazing across open moorland. The breeze buffeting their fur, Mapleleaf knew that this was her home.]
"Cloverpaw, what can you scent?"

 C l o v e r p a w“Fail with honor rather than succeed by fraud.”___________________________[Cloverpaw followed his mentor's orders and lifted his head a bit, his ears flattened against the wind, and sniffed the air. The breeze that rolled across the mooreland hills carried many scents with it, and he tried to separate each as best he could.]
“Rabbits, a lot of them...And...it's stale, but I think I can scent a fox.”
[Cloverpaw turned to Mapleleaf and blinked. He didn't want to disappoint his mentor on their first training session, but he knew that he probably missed something.]

 Sweetmoon was glad Emberpaw had become a warrior. He was now Embergaze. [She padded towards Embergaze, before notcing her kit having a conversation with him.] [She purred.] [She approached the two twitching her tail in greeeting.] "Congratulations! Embergaze!" she said.

I know, and I see, how hard you have been trying to fix your name capitalizing, but I don't want you penalized for the name title, "SweetMoon". Fix that, and you're good!))
[Mapleleaf drew in the scents as well. She nodded deeply.]
"Very good, Cloverpaw! About how long can you tell the fox has been gone for?"
[Mapleleaf felt a surge of pride at her apprentice. He was proving himself as a worthy apprentice who has sharp senses and is a very fast learner. She knew that he would be one of the best warriors in the Clan, if not the best!]

((Holy StarClan, I LOVE it! So pretty! Okay, do you have a Photobucket account? If so, just upload that image to Photobucket and click edit. There's a resize option, but I find it more convienent, though longer, to click edit, then click basic at the top when the white FotoFlexer thing comes up. Then click resize and go to selected options. Click medium, but don't go smaller, because you can't make them bigger. Make sure you then click save at the bottom. Hope it helps!))

 D i c e k i t“Even after my mirror's been shattered, I still see the reflection.”___________________________[Dicekit padded out with the tom.] "Bet you can't get to the oak faster than i can!" [she challenged. ][The tom smiled.] "You're on!" [Dicekit tore across the undergrowth towards the three, the tom fast on her heels. Finally, she seemed to be winning, at least a tail-length ahead.][To dicekit's horror, the tom's pelt brushed against hers. A heartbeat passed, as the tom looked to the side at her, passing her by. He smacked a paw on the tall, old oak tree dicekit had chosen, turning with his tail wavering.][Dicekit brought her paws forward to stop, only to have them skid across the grass, which was wet with dew. The apprentice slid past him with great speed, tumbling about on her unsteady, huge paws.] "Great starclan, Help!" [she called behind her.The tom rushed behind her, and snatched her tail in his jaws, as she was just barely hanging over the edge of a small hill in the plains.][Dicekit stared at the ground, far and low beneath her. The tom let out a growl between her tail, and she tried her best to scoot, only to have her hind legs give out and her body almost entirely over the edge, dangling by her tail. The kit let out a shriek of pain, her tail burning.][The tom behind her let out a loud grunt, slowly padding back, pulling her out. Dicekit looked at him after she was back onto steady ground, the tom panting heavily.]"You saved my life." "DICEKIT! Please control your paws! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"[The tom mewed, gasping for air. Dicekit crawled over to him.] "You okay?" "Yeah, yeah. I'll be fine. Just have to let my breath catch up." [Dicekit flicked her ears.] "You don't sound very well. Your breathing is...very ragged." [The tom looked up at her.] "I said i'm okay, Dicekit." "Oh, i don't doubt that! I just...am worried. Here, let's head back to camp." [Dicekit helped the tom to his paws, and the two walked, supporting one another.]
