Alexander nodded "Yes, normally. However I don't see the connection of events too such out of place things. Just becasue one thing happens, doesn't mean bad things are too come, doesn't mean good things will happen either. I beleive it all matters on the reaction of people" Alexander says and smiles.

"The Ferris wheel sounds great." Jaden said as they walked towards the ride.

Being ushered into the ride, Jaden discreetly whispered something into the ride conductor's ear, and the conductor nodded. Sitting down in the ride, he placed his arms across the back of the seat behind Rikku as the ride started up.

Enjoying the ride to the top, he watched the view. "Its a nice view from here." He said as the ride stopped as they reached the top, and he waited to Rikku to say something.

Larris turned as Melody spoke to him. "Oh, hey Melody." He said as his tail swished back and forth as he finished turning around to look at Melody. "Just wandering around with nothing to do. How about you?"

RIkku

"Yeah the best..." She said as she kind of blushed and leaned in a little bit. "The stars are so beautiful tonight! This night has been just perfect." She said with a smile.

Killian

"yeah but he is going to miss the good part!" he said starting to get excited. "So are there any PROs to being blind?" Killian asked bluntly. "I was thinking about it since you told me about the elves and stuff.... were there any pros growing up blind?"

Rikku

Her heart began to beat as she smiled and held his hand as she blushed... but her happiness lasted only a couple of seconds. "I lik you too!... alot... but..." SHe said as the ferris wheel took them up towards the top and stopped. "Its just that... I... I just... well..I cant..." She said withdrawing her hands and looking and looking up at the stars solemnly...taking a deep breath. "Jaden I need to tell you a story." She said taking a deep breath and closing her eyes.

"17 years ago a girl was born into the celestial tribes bearing the crest of the sacred tree in her right hand... the tell tale sign that i was the priestess... but that isn't what this story is about." She stated. "17 years ago a girl was born into the celestial tribes, with bright white hair, a pair of beautiful amethyst eyes and purple markings siding her face... on the night of her birth her mother and father held a great festival welcoming their daughter, and the daughter of the great tree into the world. There was dancing and wine, music and songs and the family was adorned and showered with gifts for giving birth to the happy healthy future leader of the tribe... that is when the elders approached my mother and father and offered them the gift of seeing their daughters future... The mother and father accepted and swore the oath ensuring that they would not speak the results to their daughter when she got older. so laying on a stage surrounded in star flowers the elders encircled her and began to chant as a large glowing orb floated above her" She stated looking back up at the sky... feeling unable to look at jaden while she told the story. "One by one the stars began to shift in position as the elders chanted until they locked in place... and a beam of light shot down towards the large glowing ball of mana that floated above her head. The chanting stopped as the daughter herself floated up into the center of the ball. In unison the elders asked the stars to show them the future of this girl... and the stars replied.... The entire party when black... every light extinguished and all that anyone could see was water rise up over our island.. red water... and then fire and then the picture just faded to black again before a picture of the girl appeared but she was older now, about 17 and there was a boy next to her with blonde hair and blue eyes and behind them a group of other people appeared behind them and the room was enveloped in a soft light ... but right before the vision ended a face appeared over the blonde boys head looming over him and everthing went back to that cold evil darkness. When the vision ended there was nothing but silence and the light of the stars shining down on them until one of the elders spoke. "this girl... and her companions will bring great light to the world... but our tribe will not live to see it... for her birth ensures the death of this tribe." And with that the party ended... and the people left the mother and father crying for their baby girl as she slept peacefully on the stage." She stated as her eyes began to well with tears.

"The girl was rose without knowledge of her future but was always treated with a strange bitterness and anger by everyone around her... Not only was she rose not knowing about her future... but she was rose alone. People would walk on the opposite side of the street as her and call her Akua under their breath when she was around. when she was four she asked her what that word meant, Her parents told her the meaning of Akua, they told her it meant god, goddess, or spirit. but what they didn't tell her is that it also meant devil. when the girl was 5 years old she had sat at the beach alone one day crying because one of her school mates told her the true meaning of the word Akua which caused her to burst into tears and flee from the class. She sat on the beach with her toes in the sand until a young boy approached her and introduced himself. his name was killian and he was a human with no recollection of who he was or how he got there. He was the girls first friend and the girls parents took him in as their own and for the next couple of years things were good for the girl. The boy helped her to find her confidence as person and defended her every time someone said anything bad about her. when she was 7 though... everything changed.... the young boy killian had helped her enough and they had real friends now... she was still the target of criticism and hate... but she had people to help her out of it and at this time she had met a boy... his name was Keoni the son of a poor but happy family he had hair like fire and intense yellow eyes. and when they met the Ku'uipo light shown in them. In the girls homeland when the ku'uipo light shines that means you have found the one who you are destined to spend your life with. and our parents had arranged for us to be married when we came of age..."

"and for this brief period of time the girl was happy but only 3 years later something terrible happened She, Keoni, and Killian, were playing near the beach and the water receded signalling a tidal wave... the three ran for higher ground but something was wrong... people were running towards the water, she turned around and saw the fight start... atop the wave there were hordes of the water continents forces, the water rushed to the shore colliding with the Celestial forces slowly turning a deep red as it mixed with the blood of those already killed. The three ran through the town as it was set ablaze by the aquatic mages and archers. watching the fights break out around them they ran up the hill to our house where my mother and father met us with a tearful reunion as they ushered us inside. My parents placed their hands together and used thier magic to open aportal. "This will take you to the Mainland, take it and never look back... Rikku... my sweet daughter We will always love you.. Take this so we will always be with you... and read this when you are ready it will explain everything" The mother said holding back tears as she held her daughter close and slipped a purple star pendant around her daughters neck and gave her a leather bound book adorned with star markings. "Keoni, Killian." The father said. "Keep her safe... and take this with you and go to the capital city" The father said unusually calm, as he gave the boys the sacred tree's insignia that rikku was born with and the boys nodded. "Im not going to leave you! i will help." The girl pleaded crying her eyes out as she tried to cling to her mother. "There is no time!" Killian cried grabbing onto rikku. "C'mon we need to go!" Keoni cried grabbing on as well and they pulled her, struggling and crying into the portal... the last thing the girl saw of her parents they had joined hands and stood together as the door was forced open..." She said with a stoic, icy look on her face.

"When we appeared on the otherside we were in Altea... and we noticed that we weren't alone... altea was under attack as well... the water forces were ready for us to be teleported... and had planned accordingly... but altea was doing a much better job of fighting them off then we did.. but it wasn't long before the three of them found themselves cornered by a unit of the water forces... they had managed to defeat a few foes in battle, by working together... but an entire unit was quite a bit for two 10 year olds and a 12 year old to fight. just as the fight started Keoni rose his hands up and placed a barrier. Killian nodded and rose his hands as well and opened a portal. "C'mon rikku your parents had us plan in case this happened. We need to go through the portal c'mon!" He stated pulling her through. as keoni stood strong... he was unable to move for if he did the barrier would break. "No Keia La, No Keia Po, A Mau Loa Aloha Au Ia 'Oe!" He yelled to rikku crying as he held up the barrier. it was at this moment that Rikku had just realized that Keoni wasn't going to be following them and she yelled back "Nau ko`u aloha" As the portal closed. leaving her and killian appearing in the capital city crying and alone. RIkku didn't know what to do, everything was gone... she just began crying... Killian comforted her as he cried as well and a crowd had began to form around them. wondering who they were and what had happened and in response he held up the sacred tree's crest. and the two were promptly led to the castle where the king took them in as their own and rikku was suddenly forced into awakening as the Priestess, because the world needed her."

RIkku had managed to fight off tears this whole time as she looked up at the stars. "Jaden...." She began her voice weak and unstable. "I like you alot.... but i have so much that i'm sure you wont want to deal with... I CAUSED MY TRIBES DEATH!" She yelled, she had began crying heavily now. "I caused the resurgence of the war... i was engaged and... I caused the death of my love... There is no telling what will come in the future... what else i will cause... I like you alot..i would like to be with you more than anything!" She said looking up at him crying. "But... but I just... i can't.. i ... i." She stammered.

"Pros of being blind...no" Alexander shakes his head. "People think blindness is a hinderance, that you can't do much without eyesight...which is true in some cases." Alexander says and sighs.

Dimitri looked back on his childhood. He sat, two eyed and oblivious too what the future had for him at a table, there was cheery music coming from outside, laughter and calls of excitment, a small carnival had arrived in his city. But he hadn't been allowed too go. his father said they were a waste of money, money they didn't have becasue it had too be spent on two people for food, clothing and rent...it always happened, he always was blammed. A tear came too his eye. He'd lied too rikku. His father was a horriable man and had happily sold him for coin. he didn't care if Dimitri was going too become a blacksmith apprentiance or some sort of child labour as long as he got money. Sitting alone in an alley, he started too cry, for the first time in years, cry for himself.

"But the past is what makes everyone stronger, and without the past we would have no future." Jaden replied to Rikku not wanting to talk about the past, and smiled as she did.

"I am ok with all of it. I can put up with all of it. If I don't feel as if I can't, I will remember that I love you, and it will give me the strength to handle anything." He said as he watched her for a moment and smiled an innocent smile.
