Kasiya was also glad that the crowd had begun to spread out as now there was plenty of room to walk around. It was a lot easier to find Sasha now as well, and Kasiya didn't hesitate to head in that direction. "Oh, Sasha? Yeah, she's definitely nice," Kasiya said in response to Serenity's question. "She's a bit quirky and eccentric, but she's a very nice person. I don't think she'll mind at all."

The two arrived at the ship's smallish poolside area roughly the same time the blue-haired boy did, and Kasiya looked around as he mentioned something about a redhead and seasickness and an interview, but she didn't think all three were related. "Wait, what? Lavaridge boys?" she repeated, looking to Sasha. "Does that mean Keegan is on the ship?" It didn't make any sense to her, seeing as how earlier in the day Keegan had flat out refused to go with her to Sinnoh. Okay, maybe he was only saying no so he could surprise me later? she thought hopefully, but quickly jumped that train of thought. No, that's not the sort of thing he'd do. He's more of a 'jump on board in the last minute because his mind changes more frequently than the weather' kind. She turned her attention back on Serenity, and sort of half-nudged her forward. "Oh yeah! Sasha, this is my friend Serenity. Serenity, this is Sasha," she said, always happy to introduce her friends to her other friends. She couldn't help but feel that nagging worry in her stomach about Keegan, however, and she knew she wouldn't feel better about it until she knew if he was actually on board the ship or not.

Even Jaeshan found himself grinning at just how much Riza was blushing, though he looked away as she finally snapped out of it. She may be annoyed with him but I bet she's still glad to see him on some level. I hope she knows how lucky she is to have an older sibling there to look out for her, he thought, wondering what his own siblings would have been like had he been lucky enough to have them. "Oh, what?" he asked suddenly, realizing that Riza was asking where he was off to next. "Uh, I'm heading to Celadon City," he told her, nodding. "I'm going to try my hand at earning a Rainbow Badge. And of course we can swap numbers, just let me get my PokeNav." He reached into his pocket and withdrew the device, which was still in pristine condition. He opened it up and added the two new entries for Riza and Crenu, and he looked over at Jaden warily. He didn't think Riza's brother would want one of her random friends' numbers, though he would oblige him if he asked.

Serenity gave a quick small wave to the girl with the bright pink hair. She was shocked by just how pretty Sasha was, and was also shocked to hear the french accent come out of the girl's mouth. 'Oh, this is not going to make this trip shorter I can tell.'

She tried if possible to hide even more behind Kasiya, not that the other girl was really that much taller than her. When Kasiya asked Sasha if Keegan was aboard the ship Serenity wondered if she should mention that she saw the redhead. It wasn't as though Kasiya was speaking to her directly, and it almost sounded as though she was sure that Keegan shouldn't be on the ship. What if it was a surprise and she wasn't supposed to tell any one that she saw him. Then again it's not as though Keegan had come up to her and told her specifically that she wasn't allowed to tell anyone that he was on the ship.

"Uhm, Kas? I saw Keegan when I came on the ship." She whispered. "He was talking to this reporter lady, and then I lost track of him." For whatever reason she was still shrinking behind Kasiya.

"Ha," Riza said simply to Crenu as she took her Blackberry out of her pocket and made two new entries in her address book, one for Crenu (and though she knew it would irk to no end she listed him as Shiro) and one for Jaeshan. "I wasn't thinking about phone numbers then," she said as her fingers quickly raced over the keys, inputting the two sets of numbers. "Besides, getting photo proof of you actually smiling was more important at the time." She made sure both new entries were saved before she put her phone back in her pocket and looked back at Jaeshan. "So there's a gym in Celadon City then? And you get a Rainbow badge if you can beat the leader...." her voice trailed off as she thought dreamily of what the badge might look like, it must be really pretty if it was named after a rainbow.

Jaden, meanwhile, was watching Jaeshan as he added the new numbers to his own device before looking to Crenu. "Here, I'll give you guys my number too, just in case," he said, now getting out his phone as well. Unsurprisingly his phone was practically identical to Riza's though instead of being black his was a metallic red in colour. Truth be told he didn't use his phone that often and didn't know his own number by heart so he had to check. "I've heard the gym leader in Celadon uses grass-type Pokemon," he said idly once numbers had been exchanged all around. "I never did get around to visiting that gym, even though I've been to Celadon numerous times for shopping. In fact, that's sort of where I'm heading after this as well." He turned back to Riza, grinning like a cat. "So no, I wasn't here just to check up on you, Sis. Vermilion was on the way to Celadon so I made an extra stop along the way."

Riza rolled her eyes again but she managed a slight smile in return as Jaden claimed his Pidgeot's poke ball from the nurse Joy. She wanted to ask him how their parents were doing, but it was almost always an unpleasant conversation and Riza didn't want to bring up the sad story of their constantly feuding parents and their very messy divorce right now. She looked over at her older brother and smiled. He was the only constant she'd ever had while she was growing up, and she did appreciate everything he had done for her over the years. "It is good to see you, Jaden," she said quietly, but sincerely. After all, if he hadn't made her get on that ship and go to Slateport she never would have met Crenu, or Jaeshan, or anyone else for that matter.

When Kord finally did loose his Thundershock upon the Zubat the result was the latter falling to the ground in a smoking heap. Only a few moments later Kord toppled back onto his butt, panting heavily. He was quite exhausted, as that had been quite the challenge for the little guy. Katie smiled and walked over to the tired Elekid and picked him up. "You were great," she told him, giving him a gentle hug before she recalled him back into his poke ball.

Not wanting to have anymore trouble tonight Katie rushed back to the pokecenter and made sure Kord got treatment before she claimed one of the spare rooms for the night. Though she was tired from her long day she didn't fall asleep right away and she tossed and turned for quite some time before finally drifting off for the night.

"Smiling? You must have been mistaken, I'm sure the light or somethign that might make it look like I was smiling." He said jokingly, making sure to maintain a very serious face just to mess with her as he took down the three numbers given to him. "Celadon....yeah. The leader's name is Erika, she's a user of Grass Type pokemon. Very calm and collected, she's tough." He said, remembering how she defeated him not long ago. But he didn't feel as bad with that defeat as he did with some of the others, possibly because he really felt she bested him completely. "Ken and I came here from Celadon, the city is to noisy for my liking." He said simply, noticing now that ken hadn't accompanied them from the gym. He didn't blame him though, it looked like Ken found it just as hard to tell him that news as it was for Crenu to hear it. Though to be honest, he didn't mind that the guy wasn't around but he couldn't help but wonder what he was up to.

But of course, it was now that Kenneth made his entrance. Waltzing in through the center doors with a smile on his face and his shimmering cape flowing behind him as if nothing was wrong at all. Immediately spotting the group, what with everyone in front of the counter and all, he floated on over to them and waved. "Again, congratulations on such amazing battles, the two of you did great!" He said calmly, cocking his head to the side slightly as his eyes fell upon a new person in this little group who had black hair just like Riza. "Oh my my my, and who is this person here? Hello there sir, I am Kenneth Breeman, coordinator and designer extraordinaire!" He said twirling about to show off the cape of his own design, stopping on a dime and extending his hand to Jaden. He noticed everyone had their phones out and chuckled a bit. "Oh I see, well I guess I need to join the party huh?" He said still chuckling as he took out his pokenav with his other hand. "I've already got Shiro's number, but I simply must have yours Jaeshan, we'll talk about getting you an outfit like mine ok? Oh and you to Riza darling, I'm sure I can make you absolutely dazzle on the contest stage!"

Jaeshan had been about to put his PokeNav away when suddenly that odd Kenneth fellow made an entrance, and didn't hesitate to ask about Jaden, and getting his and Riza's phone numbers as well. "Uh, sure, why not," Jaeshan chuckled nervously as he entered Ken's number into his PokeNav, several horribly scary images of the outfits Ken could dream up for him coming to mind. Once all the numbers and names had been saved he put his PokeNav back in his pocket, wondering if he should go right to Celadon or on through to Cerulean City so he could check out the bike shop and see about turning in his voucher. I hope it doesn't have an expiry date. he thought, adjusting the straps of his backpack. "Okay gang, I'm off," he said, doffing an imaginary cap. "Take care of yourselves," he added before turning on a heel and heading out of the Pokemon Center.

Once outside he took a moment to enjoy the tangy sea air of Vermilion, and he looked around, taking in the sights as though it were the last time he'd be here. Out of all the places in Kanto he'd visited so far, Vermilion was definitely his favourite, not only for its beautiful scenery but also for the many fond memories he had of this place. Before heading north toward the route that would take him out of Vermilion he made a quick stop at the Vermilion PokeMart and picked up a Town Map, opting to get the version that he could download to his PokeNav. After all, it was short for Pokemon Navigator so it was only natural that it should be able to have a map feature.

Jaeshan's pace was a quick one and within only half an hour or so of walking he'd made to the outskirts of town and onto Route 6. He glanced back over his shoulder once more before continuing onward, knowing he had a ways to go before he would reach Saffron City.
PostPosted: Wed Jan 13, 2010 8:53 pm

Jaeshan kept up his quick pace for about ten or fifteen minutes after he got on to Route 6, after which he slowed down a bit, not in any hurry to get where he was going. Even if he rushed himself he wouldn't arrive in Saffron until after suppertime, but he was really quite alright with that. It wasn't long after slowing his pace that he decided to let Mightyena out of his Pokeball. The canine appeared in front of his master, as serious and alert as ever, though he quickly relaxed when he realized that there was no threat around. He turned to face Jaeshan, glad to be at his trainer's side once more. "Heya pal," Jaeshan said, kneeling down so that he could properly greet his Pokemon. "Were you being good for Professor Birch and my parents?"

Mightyena snorted indignantly and looked away. Of course he had been good! If anything,he was the most obedient out of all of Jaeshan's Pokemon. It was that volatile Nidoking and dim-witted Victreebel that were the problem. Either way, he had enjoyed being transferred to Jaeshan's parents place. The grounds were enormous and there was seemingly boundless room to run about, and the food was excellent as well. The humans weren't too bad either, a little strange, but all in all, it had been a very good change overall.

"Oh, that reminds me," Jaeshan said suddenly, unhooking three more of the Pokeballs from his belt. "You need to meet the newest members of the team!" Mightyena's ears perked up at this, as it was always interesting to see what kind of new Pokemon Jaeshan met, though he could hardly believe that he'd acquired three new Pokemon in only a few short days. "First, meet Kakuna, and Squirtle," the blonde-haired trainer went on, oblivious to Mightyena's inner ramblings as he released them both at the same time. Kakuna, happy to be out of his Pokeball once again though his expressionless face betrayed that happiness, bounced around on the spot, seemingly ignoring the scrutinizing looks he was receiving from Mightyena. Squirtle, on the other hand, glanced around timidly, practically shrinking into his shell with fright as the canine gave him a good once over as well. Mightyena smirked at this, liking the fact that he could instill fear into at least one of the two young Pokemon. And though for the most part they seemed alright, he knew he would not be able to formulate a valid opinion of them until he learned more about them.

"And finally," Jaeshan went on, holding up the third Pokeball proudly, "you already know this one, but she still deserves a proper introduction either way. I'm happy to introduce you to the now fully-evolved Blaziken!" He tossed the sphere up into the air, and Blaziken materialized in a flash of light, crouched in a kneeling position. Her gaze quickly fell upon the familiar form of Mightyena and she nodded respectfully, rising only when Mightyena returned the nod. The canine could hardly believe that this towering Pokemon was once that scrawny little Torchic, but then again at once point he'd been nothing but a small fry as well, so he had no choice but to accept it.

As soon as his wife gave the signal, Chuck, who had practically been bursting at the seems in excitement over the start of the battle, punched the air one more time. "All right, Machoke! Let's show them how we do things here in Cianwood! Get in there and use Karate Chop! Go!" A deep growl rumbled from the throat of the Superpower Pokemon as it rushed towards Aska, holding one stiff arm by its side, ready to deliver the chopping attack to the opposing Bird Pokemon. It was nothing personal, of course; it was just that orders were orders. Besides, they hadn't had a good challenger in a while and both Chuck and all his Pokémon were itching to battle. Machoke closed the distance between himself and the Pidgeotto and let his Karate Chop fly, aiming to do Chuck proud.

Miharu remained relaxed and quiet as Chuck gave his first command, and without even glancing at the Machoke she calmly looked up at her own Pokemon. "Aska, use your Agility," she said quickly. It was quite obvious that Aska couldn't match the Machoke in power, but she figured she could easily best it in speed, especially with a little help from a move such as Agility. It would be hard for the Machoke to lay a hand on the Pidgeotto if he couldn't keep up with her, and Miharu silently hoped that Aska's swift maneuverability would help to tire out her muscular opponent. Aska, naturally, had no qualms about obeying this order and she trilled loudly as a slight rush came over her, and soon she was flying faster than she was before. It was very easy for her to avoid the Machoke as it came up swinging, but all he would hit this time around would be air as he missed her by a mile.

"Okay, sure, whatever you say," Riza said, rolling her eyes with a laugh. "Right, 'cause nothing could ever make you smile." She wasn't at all surprised to see Kenneth waltz into the pokecenter, flourishing his sparkling cape as he walked. "This is my brother, Jaden," Riza said, nodding. "And this is Ken, he's a friend of Crenu's." Okay, so maybe Crenu didn't view him as a friend but whatever. It didn't really matter too much, and she giggled a bit as she added Ken's number to her phone, trying to imagine the kind of outfits Ken would force Jaeshan to try on. "Good luck with your next gym match," she called after Jaeshan as he bid them farewell and headed out on his way, and Riza had no doubt that she'd see him again sometime.

"He seems nice," Jaden commented in regards to the departing Jaeshan as he put his own phone away and looked towards Kenneth, grinning. "I know who you are, you're Kenneth Breeman. I've seen you on television many times. You're quite the coordinator, it's nice to actually meet you in person," he went on, shaking the man in the shiny cape's hand. "Riza's in training to become a Pokemon coordinator as well, perhaps you can give her some pointers," he added, good natured as ever. "Speaking of which, Riza, when can I meet your Pokemon?"

Riza blinked a few times, surprised that Jaden would be so forward with Ken like that, but she snapped out of it, and shrugged. "Uh, well, I dunno. We just had that battle and I think that maybe they should keep resting in their poke balls for now."

"Fine, fine," Jaden said, laughing. "There's no rush, really. So what are you two lovebirds planning on doing next?" he asked, the question more directed towards Crenu than Riza.

Katie woke up relatively early the next morning despite her late night, and within about forty minutes she'd finished with her morning routine and she headed to the cafeteria for breakfast, quite eager to head out and make her way back to Jubilife City. When she and her Pokemon were all fed she put the four of them back into their poke balls and made sure she had all her things before heading out of the pokecenter. It was a beautiful day as the sun was out with only a few clouds in the blue sky, and it wasn't too hot either. She took a deep breath and looked around to get her bearings before she started towards the Oreburgh Gate. She remembered from checking her map the path she would have to take, and her pace was fairly upbeat as she made her way through the city.

'Might have to invest in a bike of my own after all,' she thought once she'd reached the gate, feeling a bit tired and worn down from the trek across the city. She remembered the freedom and fun of riding the bike yesterday morning and she missed it, and though she could have easily made one call to her mother and had her acquire a bike for her, she decided against it, figuring she would find a way to get one for herself. After all calling Lena for help so soon wouldn't make her look very independent.

While watching Raz flail around helplessly was pretty funny, for Robin and Luffy at least. Of course Raz didn't exactly find it funny though he couldn't figure out why. As he tried his best to figure out why he should be mad he smashed right down into the ground knocking himself out. Robin, Luffy and Raz would later figure out that being confused and up in the air was not a good combination since it ran the risk of forgetting to flap his wings. Now though Robin, Luffy, Black*Star, John and the Pelipper could only stare at the ground where Raz was knocked out.

"Huh." Robin muttered before she giggled a bit as she recalled Raz back into his park ball. "All right then Luffy it looks like its up to you to finish off this Pelipper and whatever he sends out next." Robin said with a grin as she looked down over at her comrade who was resting on her shoulder. Her and Luffy just shared a knowing confident smile before the Ambipom lept off of her and landed easily on the ground. "Let's not give them a chance to attack you Luffy use your Double Hit to knock them right out of here!" Robin ordered with a grin her laughter gone now that she was back to being sort of serious about this battle. She still had to show off to Kilik after all and who else to show how much she had grown then Luffy? Plus Kilik needed to see how much stronger Luffy was now that he had evolved.

"Well I am not exactly sure why your Aipom has two tails but that extra tail isn't going to help it! Pelipper use your Protect again we will wait out this confusion!" John ordered carefully watching the battle.

Unfortunately the confusion seemed to slow down the Pelipper's reaction time as it tried to think about obeying it's orders Luffy was charging at the bird pokemon with a huge grin on his face. Just as the orders clicked in the Pelippers mind Luffy had smashed both of his tail hands hard into the Pelippers chest sending it flying and not in a good way. The poor pokemon smacked into the back wall about half way up from the force of Luffy's attack. If it was lucky it had been unconscious by the time it had hit the wall. The waterbird pokemon slid down the wall completely unconscious making it pretty obvious who had won this part of the battle.

"Jesus!" John muttered as he looked at the force of the Aipoms attack. Ok maybe that extra tail did make a difference, ok he had to keep calm, he had to send a pokemon out that had at least a bit of defense in order to keep up with what looked like an amazing speed and attack power. Recalling his Pelipper he thought for a moment before deciding to send out his best bet against this strange Aipom. "Ok let's show them Wartotle!" Pulling out the pokemon's pokeball the tossed it out to reveal a strong looking water type pokemon with a cute curly tail.

"What a cute little tail!" Robin said with a grin before looking back over at John. "That tail won't save you though, there is no way Luffy won't be able to take that turtle out." Robin had full confidence in Luffy, a confidence that would make most people dizzy.

Eraku turned around and said "yeah follow me the news lady right over here." He walked over to where his friend was still trying to form words to say to reporter and said "hey I found someone you'd love to interview. I just sort of met her a few hours ago but she's really nice and I'm sure she'd love to answer some of your questions." Eraku looked over to Sasha and said "Your up now!"

Waving to Jeashan he looked back at Jaden and laughed a bit. "Ah ha ha, you flatter me Jaden! I'm really not that great, a lot of contests are televised. I've just been in quite a few." He pretended to be shy all of a sudden, looking away as if he were blushing but he really wasn't as he shook Jaden's hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well Mr. Harding, you're quite accomplished yourself." He said with a somewhat sly tone. "I've visited many gyms, though not for challenges, and I know I've seen your name on the list of conquering trainers on quite a few gyms. Unless that's a different Jaden Harding, heeheehee. I'd be more than happy to give little Riza here a few pointers if she wants." He looked over at her, than back at Crenu as he was curious about Jaden's question as well.

"Hmm? well I'm not really sure." He said simply, unhindered by the lovebird comment as he really only got embarrassed by his own thoughts and actions, and by Riza's as of recently. He glanced at Kenneth for a quick second, knowing that he was really just curious to see if he was going to go to the funeral. But right now Crenu was leaning towards no. "I was thinking about catching the ferry to Sinnoh that leaves port here later today. But I wasn't really sure about that in the first place...and now that I've met up with Riza again I really don't know. I hear there are some contests in Sinnoh from Ken, but I know there are some here in Kanto as well. Either way I don't actually care, so I guess it really depends on what she wants to do." He said looking over at Riza, giving her a little squeeze with his arm and flashing her a bit of a smile for a slit second just to humor her comment about him smiling.

Yes! Train thought to herself. This is turning out to be awesome so far! Okay, maybe that was a bit of an over exaggeration, as the battle’d only lasted a few turns so far. Either way, she didn’t put voice to her thoughts and simply said, ”Rattata, try to dodge it and use Tail Whip!” Rattata just wasn’t fast enough this time, though, and was nailed directly by one of the rocks shooting up out of the ground. The Mouse Pokémon let out a loud squeak as he was thrown into the air, and just as he was coming back down, a white glow enveloped him. His form shifted and grew bigger, and as he turned himself in the air to smack Brock’s Rhyhorn with his tail and try to lower his opponent’s defense, the glow cleared and revealed the new Raticate, who scampered back to Train and awaited Brock’s move.

Leon finally entered Oldale, and headed straight for the Pokémon Center. He returned both of his Ghost-types to their PokéBalls so that he could hand them right to Nurse Joy and ask for a room key. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d actually slept, which was his mother’s fault for dragging him to that stupid party back home. He glanced at the PokéBalls as Nurse Joy took them and at the point decided that it hadn’t actually been so bad. Holding the room key loosely in his right hand, Leon waited semi-patiently by the desk until the nurse returned a few moments later with his now fully healed Pokémon, and then headed into the back to find his room and finally get some sleep.

"Heh, my pokemon's cute little tail as you so called it can pack quite a punch! All right let's show them your new move Wartortle, use your Aqua Tail!" The turtle pokemon nodded and dashing forward its cute curly tail glowing.

"Luffy use your Agility to get out of the way!" Robin ordered, as much faith as she had in Luffy she still didn't want to see her pokemon get hurt. Luffy himself didn't really want to get hit with that glowing tail thing so dodging seemed like a good idea. Grin never leaving his face Luffy glowed a sort of blue color before he easily dodged the Wartortles attack. With his speed boosted on top of his already pretty impressive speed the turtle pokemon didn't really stand much of a chance of hitting him.

Across from them John seemed to realize this as well and he frowned somewhat. Well if they couldn't catch up to the Ambipom then they would just have to fire from a distance maybe. "All right Wartortle, there is no way we can catch that weird Aipom now! How about we try attacking from a distance! Let's show them your Water Pulse!" The turtle pokemon nodded and stopped trying to chase the 'Aipom' around and instead stood his ground. Now that they weren't running around he stared down the 'Aipom before summoning his strength and sending out a blast at water towards the 'Aipom'.

"Luffy let's hit that Water Pulse back with your Swift!" Robin called out with a big grin on her face. Luffy himself didn't seem to concerned with the blast of water coming at him. Instead the spunky Ambipom swished one of his big tails around sending a wave of stars at towards the blast of water.

When the two attacks met one would expect them to cancel each other out, both of their power's were about the same. That didn't seem to be the case though, the Water Pulse was easily cut out through by the power of Luffy's Swift. For some reason the attack went right on trough and smashed right into the very surprised Wartortle. "Oooh-hoooo!" Luffy laughed as he watched his attack hit his opponent in the chest.

"What the? Why the heck did your Swift hit when my Water Pulse didn't." John was pretty confused, that didn't make much sense, both of the attacks were pretty much on the same level. Why didn't they just cancel each other out?

"Wowie! Luffy great job!" Robin laughed she didn't really know what had gone on but she was just happy that Luffy was one attack up. "All right Luffy let's try another attack, how about we show them your Brick Break!" She was completely unaware of Johns dilemma. Luffy who was just having a fun time in a battle didn't really care either and instead he charged forward one of his tails glowing once more.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 16, 2010 6:48 pm

"Wartortle use Protect!" John shouted and his pokemon. While the Wartortle wasn't the fastest pokemon around he was still fast enough to bring up a protective green bubble of Protect. Luffy's attack was pretty useless as it smashed right into the green bubble. "Good work Wartortle! Now let's hit that Aipom with your Bite attack while he's close!" The blue turtle pokemon quickly lashed out and clamped his mouth around Luffy's tail.

When Luffy felt the pain lance through his tail he let out an angry cry as he tried to whip the blue pokemon off. The turtle pokemon was really stubborn though and it did its best to hold onto its prize. "Luffy just bear with it! Now that it's attached to you how about we show them the strength of our bond!" Robin called out hoping that Luffy would be able to get through it. Focusing his energy Luffy did his best to shove his attention off of the pain and instead focused on his bond with his trainer. For a second the pain seemed to fade away and suddenly Luffy felt the strength of his bond with Robin give him his strength. Opening his eyes he focused his attention onto the Wartortle. The moment his attention was onto the other pokemon the battle seemed to be over as Luffy seemed to gain a sort of other worldly strength. Grabbing the other pokemon with his the other tail he yanked it off his body glowing a white color. With the other pokemon in his grasp he smashed it hard onto the ground repeatedly until it was knocked out. Letting the other pokemon fall as the whistle was blown and the referee signaled that Robin had won.

"Wooo! Great job Luffy!" Robin laughed as she ran out and scooped him up in a hug. Giggling she set Luffy down and patted Black*Star on the head as he came over and joined them to. "Well, sorry you didn't win the battle John! It was a good match though, You really gave me a run for my money!" Placing Black*Star back into his pokeball Robin walked over to the nearby pokemon center. "Hello Nurse Joy! I hope you liked my battle!" Robin said with a grin as she placed all her pokeballs down as well as hefting Luffy up onto the counter.

"Oh you did a very good job, I don't see a lot of pokemon battles and yours was very entertaining." Nurse Joy said with a small smile as she healed up Robin's pokemon real quick. "Well here we go." Handing them back over to Robin she grinned at the other girl.

"Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!" Robin waved goodbye before dashing over to Kilik with an excited look on her face. "Did you see Kilik! Did you see me win! Luffy and I have gotten really strong haven't we!"

Every blow that was exchanged between Robin's Pokemon and her opponent's were well placed and made for an interesting show, to say the least. Kilik's arms were crossed as he watched, but seeing Luffy come out onto the field piqued his interest a little more. "This I gotta see," he whispered, bringing his thumb up to his lips. He bit down on the nail slightly and the battle against Wartortle began. It's not Aipom anymore. It's evolved, that's the only explanation. This was the first chance he had to watch a new Pokemon in action, and he had to admit, he was impressed. He's much stronger, and much faster. And the second tail really became an advantage. You've done a great job raising him, Robin. He closed his eyes and smiled to himself. He could remember the first time they'd met, walking together towards Professor Elm's lab. It was during a rough time for him, and she had that perk to her...Something that brightened the day around everyone. Nothing seemed to bring her down - even a loss.

Then there was the beach party. Giovanni had them on the ropes, Giovanni was ready to win, then she came out of no where. She stood up to him, when all of us were too beaten to go on. Mike had lost it, I was too weak, and those of us who weren't fighting other Rockets were too afraid...But she wasn't. Kilik stood up when the battle was over and clapped quietly. And when she came up to him, he smiled. He'd forgotten how tall he was compared to others - Mitsu was short anyway - but even to a girl that was average height. "Really great job, Robin. You've improved so much since I first met you! And I say..." he smirked, "We do a little rumble. I'd like to battle you firsthand! Luffy versus Cable and your Totodile versus my Treecko. How about it, Robin?"

Treecko did a front flip off of her trainer's shoulder. She was ready! That Totodile looked flashy and had a lot of skills, but if she tried hard, she could really win! Then she walked with Kilik over to the trainer's box and hopped out onto the field on her tail. For extra safety, she did a few stretches - no need to pull anything. Bring it on! "Whooo," he whistled, "Never seen Treecko this feisty! Think you can handle her, Robin? I know you're not one to back down," he laughed, "Unless I'm just a little scarier than Giovanni." Whatever she had to throw at him, Kilik was ready.
