"Well then Cinkel, where should we start?" asked Magnus curiously. He wondered why the king would want to strike a deal with the human. After all Cinkel looked innocent enough though he wondered if there was more to the deal. Or if he was simply repaying a debt.

Azriel answered, "Nope, we didn't. Now, where's the next shop we can look into...?" She added in a whisper, "Not personally, but Oscuro recognized him as the old scholar who's familiar with my curse...and got me chased out of Sybak." Her hands tightened into fists at her sides. "I wonder how he thought to find me here...I have to be more careful now."

Oro walked out of the shop that he was in and walked back to the group with a rather embarassed look on his face, "Man now I feel like an idiot... I know we are looking for a jewel stolen from the king but I don't know what color, shape or size.", he chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.

Cain laughed slightly when Oro explained his situation, "That's right. We forgot to tell you. Well, the king said it was spherical, blue, and about this size." He demonstrated the size with his hands. He then spoke in a low voice, "It might be best for us to all stick together for now. Avoid splitting up."
Cinkel looked over at Magnus, trying to disguise his depression. "Well, all I can think of is to just ask the residents to see if they know anything. After we check here, we can try the labs. The building before we entered here."

Azriel nodded, whispering back, "R-right. He seems to be out of sight right now, but Oscuro says he's still somewhere in our area." She looked out into the crowd ahead and sighed...it was especially thick at this time. If they had to go through it, she hoped she could keep up and that she could keep her wings from brushing against people. She spoke up in a normal tone, "Hmm, I don't see any more shops like this along this side..." She looked around and saw a sign marking another building as a pawnshop...clear across the wide street, still past the crowd. "...Rats."

Cain looked over the crowd, "It'll be difficult staying together in such a crowd. Should we go ahead through or wait until it dies down a bit?" He began spinning his ring around on his finger, deep in thought.

Sheena shook her head. "Well, we should finish up the shops around here and then peak around the arena and church." She said, thinking that was the best idea. It wasnt really a change from the plan they had already. She was just re-stating it, trying to stir a bit of hope that someone knew.

((Umm...the groupings are Sheena, Azriel, Cain, and Oro in the west then Cinkel, Schwarz, and Magnus in the east. Therefore Sheena is not with Cinkel. ^^;; ))

(Im bumbling bad. Kinda busy with working and.. I managed to save my webs, so.. im ok for a while, but I worked myself to death doing it. Im sorry... >-< You must be so annoyed. I should have thought about it because the lab is on the wrong side. Sheena and the ones with her are exploring the west side. I is stupid. Sorry. ._. )

((*pats on the back* Is okay. ^^;; We all have our bumbling moments. And you must be quite tired lately... sweatdrop ))
Azriel smiled and nodded at what Sheena had said. "Of course." In response to Cain's question, she added, "Hmm...it's hard to tell when this crowd will thin out a bit...this particular time of day seems to be bustling with activity. I'd say things will die down in about an hour, and that's too much time to waste."

(Yeah. I get to sleep in so ill be fresh again tomarrow.. hopefully. )
Sheena nodded, stamping her foot with frustration. "Damn! He is getting away at this rate!" She said, angry and starting to show it. "Fine. No shop keepers so far have seen him, and the guards seem to be moving around more." She said softly. "So far no leads. Do you think this elf might have gone to Sybak?"

Oro suddenly became aware of the guards precences around them as Sheena spoke, sure enough the number had increased around them, "By the way that they move, it's almost as if they had been tipped off on Azriel." his animal instincts had begun to take over again, he was now watching a guard that walked passed, he surpressed a growl, "I swear, if they try anything, I'll make them wish they never became a guard."

Azriel paled and broke out in a cold sweat, seeing all those guards shift around like that. She knew and felt that they were all staring at her. She responded to Oro, whispering, "Th-they've certainly been tipped off, Oro...there was an old man lurking around us earlier. Oscuro remembers that he's the one who got me chased out of Sybak. But to think that he's working with the guards...I-I wonder if he had seen the King..."

Sheena frowned. "We should get out of here soon. I dont think I could convince the king that your not the Fractured Soul just like we did to save Cain." She sighed. This would be a really good time for Zelos.

"Don't worry too much. Like Oro said, if they doing anything, today is going to be a bad day to be a knight of Meltokio. Anyway, we still have the church, noble area, and the castle to search. Too many areas to look to before moving to another town." Cain face showed that he just realized something. "You still believe that I did steal that jewel, do you, Sheena?"
