Kirai, setting her plates down in the kitchen, and returning back towards the small dining room, said, "... I am not quite sure what to think of it. I suppose that I do not have any objections to it, although, I do wish Avarice's head would be served sooner so that I might return the favor." Kirai turned to face Salazar suddenly, nearly causing him to run into her, her blue dark eyes looking up into his. "Although, Salazar... if I were to die, or never have my soul back, could you still have any feelings towards me, knowing this?" For the first time, this entire time, she actually sounded serious, almost hurt in saying this.

Kirai looked down, What a shame... "Salazar..." She paused, no.... I don't need to tell him that. Kirai looked back up at Salazar, "...thank you."

Kirai slightly shrugged her shoulders, carrying in the chalices behind him. "Sometimes... people want to say something, although, there is no word for what they want to say. I suppose 'thank you' was used to fill in the absense of that nonexistant word." Kirai said simply.

Kirai watched him walk out, and sighed. Putting her hand to her cheek, and then to her lips, she closed her eyes and thought, How did I end up in such a situation...? She nearly remembered when Avarice kissed her, what it felt like, before she pushed it out of her mind. Three different men, one whom she now hated.... Kirai walked back out in the direction of the garden, feeling that she truely was cursed.

He had no idea.. even as the two spoke Jackie was sliping into his room via window, inching her way along the wall until she leaned over the side of his bed. Shadow fell over her face and upper torso, hiding any hint that she was injured, and her voice was silky as ever.. only the under tone of strain gave away that she was under stress. " Wake up." with a none too gentle poke in his ribs she made a growling sound, pokeing him twice more. " damn it, i said get up Sal. there is trouble."

Making her way out into the garden, she thought to herself, Yes, I need to go out again soon to practice and drink some more... However, I need to speak with Banshi and Lanius, soon. Same with Phantom and Mimicry. Seeing the girl in the garden again, Kirai bowed. "I apologize for that taking so long, there was an agreement I had to fulfill. Please be so kind as to pardon my rude behavior because of this."

"Whatever you want, Phantom." Taking the gauze once more, Mim re-bandaged her arm and sighed. Grabbing at her hair, she frowned, suddenly finding it annoying. "I guess," Mim added, pulling a blade from her boot, "that I'm a hypocrite, yes?"

"I'm afraid I'm losing myself, my humanity, but here I am, asking this of you." Taking a fistful of hair, she brought the blade to it, watching the curls fall to the bed. "Can I even call myself human anymore Phantom? I've prided myself on it, refused my natural abilities to shapeshift, but humans can't do that. They can't live for so long and not age. They don't have supernatural strength, speed. When a human dies, they stay dead."

Gritting her teeth, she blinked the unshed tears away. Her eyes burned with a sudden anger. "What the hell am I?" She didn't expect an answer, simply needing to vent. "Whatever it is, it certainly isn't human anymore." It wasn't perfect, but she'd finished cutting her hair. The curls were gone and Mim's white hair reached her chin, longer in the front than the back. It would be easier to fight now. Less risky.
