Yes, I was neither informed of this as Hufflepuff Head. I think what is happening is things are being changed to accommodate graduates. But I am unsure of this. And I do agree with Alutian that things do need to be backtracked and talked about,
I think best if we set up a meeting to talk about this either in a thread or in the towns as to what is happening here in the guild since KT is gone and everything seems to be scrambled a bit or at least to me.

I thirdly agree with all DDA's and Alutian's thoughts. I am also a Head (for Gryffindor). I think you have good intentions in the classroom situation, but it leaves everyone confused lesson-wise and location-wise. Please communicate to us your thoughts so we more clearly understand what is going on.

Hello I am an house elf and I joined not to long ago I believe I joined last thursday and I was wondering how will I know when I can be sorted to my house and become a student. Especially since the head house elf quit.

It's pretty clear that we're going back to the old layout..
We'll have to decide exactly what we'll do for the graduates during the Fall Event....
Alutian your certificates will be used so I hope you kept the originals!
DDA can go ahead and make the Hogsmeade thread we talked about

Well I haven't got the PMs I expected to get yet....
I have stress and drama in my real life right now and if I have to argue with a virtual b***h about stupid stuff over and over again then it's going to be a problem. I honestly don't want to deal with things I don't hvae to deal with

eek...woah, not what i meant....what i meant by house point guidelines is that...well I think each teacher should know about how many house points they plant to give for each lesson...when I was teaching some teachers were giving 5 house points and some 50...I think we need boundaries. I thought I'd try it the other way to make it less cluttered but I'll move it back.. Iceewitch and I have already agreed to consult all mods aon junk like this. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Alright, so for this year's sorting hat, I noticed that some of the pictures are a little bit dead, so we're going to need new ones, but what do you guys think of, for this year, instead of painstakingly editing the first post constantly, if for adding house points people added them and then gave the new totals, that way we can see math mistakes easily too.. like... first post gryffindor=0hufflepuff=0ravenclaw=0slytherin=0 second post Adding house points for lesson/event/reason x 10, 10, 10, 10New total: gryffindor=10hufflepuff=10ravenclaw=10slytherin=10Kind of like that?

Nevermind, I found the original posts in the Recruitment thread outside the guild. We have Mystic_emerald, Merine Bhool, and DevilsDarkAngel, is that right?
Concerning the house points, are you saying that each person adds their points to the last points to be added? Say, I put down that Hufflepuff/Gryffindor/Slytherin/Ravenclaw got fifteen homework points in my class, and the next person to award points needs to add it to my totals, and so on? Might work, but mistakes could still slip by.

Yes, mistakes still could slip by, but at the same time, no one would ever spot mistakes if the first post was just edited, and then it would be fun to seehow each house progressed all year too.

to clarify it would continue like this third post Adding house points for lesson/event/reason x 15, 15, 15, 15New total: gryffindor=25hufflepuff=25ravenclaw=25slytherin=25fourth post Adding house points for lesson/event/reason x 10, 10, 10, 10New total: gryffindor=35hufflepuff=35ravenclaw=45slytherin=35Notice the mistake in post 4??? much moire recognizable then if there was no trace of progression, especiall since the real house points wont be added evenly like in my examples.
