Shifting in his chair as he began to write, he said, "Well, just wanted to give an outside influence on using certain chemicals is all, some does cause permanent effects like Mutie for example, it can forever cripple any strength you may have now. Other drugs may also permanently damage and lower your intelligence to a degree, which I'd think you'd prize your brain above all else in order to carry out your research. But your overall use of testing and using chemicals, I won't restrict due to, in essence, it being research on a human subject who has had alot of chems pumped into their systems and we get to see those long term effects." Without glancing up, he addressed what was said about eliminating Silver if he ever became a danger, "If you ever become a danger, just like anyone else in our organization, we never do hesitate to eliminate a threat, no worries there."
Finishing up the report on what Silver had said the general direction his research was going, he finally looked up, "As for your research, that's excellent that we have another source for the machine. I believe I've kept you long enough from your research however and I'll let you get back to work. You're dismissed if you have nothing else to add to your research report, if not, then I'll expect a report when absolutely all testing is complete and the machine is in full working order.", he said.

Silver bowed his head stiffly.
Thank you sir. The machine should be 100% functional in a few more days.

"Excellent, I trust that you can let yourself out, I have paperwork to get back to.", Ender said, nodding his head in the general direction of the door, while putting the report in a folder and slipped it into the filing cabinet beside the desk. Pulling out another folder, he opened it and began writing, filling out and signing off on requisition forms.

Silver burst into the generals' office with absolutely no warning. He was not without his now usual limp though. He was carrying the device he'd been working on now for so long. He promptly placed on enders' desk and spoke.
It's done. All tests are complete. Results show that ghoul blood has a better effect than regular human blood, but only if mixed with the latter. The discolouration is invisible to the naked eye and works a lot more efficiently than a regular stimpack.
As soon as possible I'd like to install this machine in the medical bunker. That is of course, if you have no more questions.
As Silver spoke, his eyes widened and became more and more excited. The dark circles under his eyes danced and flexed as he spoke, and he scratched his head more often than normal. As he did so, he absently pulled out strands of hair and put them into his pocket.

With the sudden interruption of the door just flying open, Ender stood up quickly with a pistol already in hand before the researcher had even finished coming into the office. Seeing who it was, under the helmet his face flushed with anger for a moment before he regained control, which didn't reflect in his voice. Holstering the pistol, he remained standing, "Next time, knock.", he said in a cold and dead pan voice. His interest quickly turned to the machine however as the researcher began speaking about it being complete, satisfied with prior reports and the researcher's word that it was complete, he gave a nod, "Go ahead and install it in the medical bunker, I have no further questions about it, dismissed.", he said while taking a seat behind the massive desk once more.

Silver inclined his head at the generals' words and quickly departed for the med-bay.

Filling out paperwork, he heard something about "Houston" on the radio and noticed on the corner of the HUD display within his helmet that the radar was going all haywire. His mount quickly turning into a frown, he was already annoyed when he keyed in his radio to the Administration building.
