((Well, it has now been 11 days, almost two weeks, since I made my last post. I am still patiently awaiting for somebody to respond to me. I am going to assume that everyone is busy with back to school issues. Though it would have been nice to have been informed beforehand, so that I would know that you are all simply busy with other matters, and have not abandoned me...))

Kiro stopped and thought for a moment. "Hmm, I guess you're right. Just, make sure you stop me if I lose it like I did last night..." Kiro warned William, but in the most friendly way possible he could. "I'm ready to go whenever, I could care less about my destroyed room right now."

"I'll do my best." Will said. He quickly checked himself. He was wearing his usual gear. His mother's katana, his father's broadsword, his nodachi, and his collection of daggers. "Well, I think I'm pretty much ready. Give me a few minutes to run up to my room and grab my pack. I'll meet you at the stables." That said Will left the Arena and headed back for his dorm room. He retreived his pack and then headed back towards the South Gate, which was fortunately not far from the dorms. He arrived and asked one of the stablehands to ready his horse.

Kiro was ready waiting for him at the stable, already mounted atop his black stallion. "Sorry for being so short notice, but let's get going."

((As the party travels and peruse the map and other information, they will see that the town lies a couple days travel to the southeast. The town is usually somewhat prosperous due to an iron mine located nearby and is the chief source of employment as well as export.))

William and Kiro rode together for the rest of the day. The countryside passed them by as they traveled, becoming a green and gold blur as they went by groves and fields, small forests and meadows. As the sun set that first evening they found a small clearing amid the forest they were currently passing through, and set up a simple camp. The two of them set up a basic firepit and dragged a fallen tree trunk near it to use as a bench. They made themselves a simple supper and then set watch. William took the first, though he knew that even if Kiro slept it would be light enough that he could react to the slightest of sounds anyways.
Matt was sitting in Kimiko's office. She had just finished knitting his shoulder, which had been badly damaged by the dislocation and subsequent, and poorly executed, relocation. He had various other injuries, and she had treated them all as well. Now, he was exhausted. Her "healing" was a combination of her own energies and the energies of the person being healed. It sped their metabolism up to extremes, allowing the body to heal extremely fast, even allowing a person to recover from injuries that would normally be fatal. If only because they were able to heal faster than the injury could kill them. Kimiko had explained all of this to Matt on more than one occasion, and he remembered it well enough, even if he didn't entirely understand what it all really meant. All he knew was that when Kimiko healed you, the more serious the injury, the hungrier he was afterwards. "Thanks, Kimi." Matt said. He reached for his breastplate, which Kimiko had removed while she had been treating him. Kimiko reached out and gently, but firmly, placed her hand atop his. Matt always found it kind of creepy how she could do simple things like that, despite her blindness. "Nuh, uh." Kimiko said, referring to the breastplate. "Not tonight. I helped along the most severe injuries. And almost all of them are almost completely healed, but they've still got a little left to go. Keep yourself unrestricted tonight, otherwise you'll be really sore in the morning." She reached into a cabinet and pulled out a simple brown cloak. "Here. Something to cover yourself up with toll you find something more suitable." "Alright," Matt said, taking the cloak and whipping it up and around his shoulders. "I'll wear a cloak for tonight. But it's back to the breastplate tomorrow." Matt moved to the door and let himself out. As the door closed behind him he called out. "Thanks again."

Despite the long travel, Kiro wasn't nearly tired enough to sleep. He was restless. Kiro concentrated his gaze on the blazing campfire. Thoughts of the previous fight the night before lingered in his mind.
"Have you been wondering about it?" Kiro asked William suddenly, fairly aware he was curious about the mysterious male and female intruders from before.

"A little." William admitted, picking up on what Kiro was asking about immediately. "You've never told me too much about your past. I know enough to figure that those two from last night were from the same place as you were originally. What I don't know is how they got those weird abilities, or why they came after you." William used a stick to poke the fire, shifting the coals around to better disperse the heat. He still had hours left before he was supposed to "wake" Kiro. It wasn't his fault if the overcautious Hunter decided to spend his sleeping hours not.

"They're as dangerous as I am. Some even more dangerous depending on the ability and class number of each series of ability. That girl was exactly my level. If I hadn't been training since I left them all those years ago she would have been able to kill me." Kiro started.
"The reason why they're after me is simple. One, I'm a traitor. Two, if they get my body, they can continue my series." Kiro explained, keeping it sweet and simple.

((I have no problems with skipping ahead. Let's finish up Will and Kiro's conversation though.))
"Class number? Series? Level? It sounds like whatever this place is that you came from is pretty complicated. All I know is that those that train hard are rewarded with greater skill and strength. If these people are as strong as you say they are then we're just gonna have to train harder, so we can surpass the power of their abilities." Will said.

"I'll explain it detail later. I'll just warn you to keep your wits about you and treat each member of Axis as if you're fighting me." Kiro replied.

"Got it. If we encounter members of Axis at any point, I'll give them every trick I've got. Anyways, since you're up you can go ahead and take watch. I'm gonna catch some shut eye." William said. Will shifted off of his 'bench' and onto the ground, where he could use the bench as a backrest instead. He leaned his head down onto his chest and closed his eyes. He crossed his arms over his chest, one hand resting slightly inside his jacket, near to one of his many daggers, and began to nod off.
