Tanis nodded, he leaned down to kiss Helena's cheek to let him know how she helped him. He listened to Azrael, pondering questions, but he was unsure if he wanted an answer to them. "It sounds like a wonderful ceremony." He said.
Miluiel followed Shinn into the tent. She waited by the door watching Shinn make his way up to his father. Her smile widened when Shinn presented the rabbit to Azrael. "He did it all on his own too." she added softly, sharing Shinn's warm joy.

Azrael beamed, holding his son tightly. "All on your own! I as so proud of you my son." He looked at Shinn in the eyes intently. "But even if you had had help, I would still be just as proud of you. Perhaps one day you will make good on bringing home that wyvern!" He said. "Did you give the rabbit your thanks send it back to the Great Mother with a prayer?" He asked Shinn.
Shinn nodded. "Yes, Opau!" He said. His father smiled approvingly and set Shinn down.
Azrael patted Shinn on the shoulder. "I suppose you want to eat your rabbit at the feast?" He asked, and Shinn nodded. "Remember Shinn, we do not waste anything, I will take care of the rabbit's pelt for you and dry it so we can cook it at the feast. You will bring all of the bones home so we can use them for tools and for getting marrow. Remember Shinn, as a hunter you are responsible making good use of the animal that you have taken. Do not waste the sacrifice that your prey has given to you." He told him. Shinn nodded and gave the rabbit to Azrael. Azrael looked to the others. "I will go take care of this in another room. It is never pleasant to watch what needs no watching." He said as he left the room, giving Shinn another proud smile, before leaving to the family den.
Shinn bounced up and down happily, he felt unbelievably happy that his father was proud of him. He hugged Miluiel happily. "Thank you for believing in me!" He said, squeezing, his expression gave out an unspoken "mommy," at the end of his words.

Miluiel kneeled beside Shinn. She kissed his head. "It is not a problem, I am so happy you could do it!" Miluiel said to Shinn. "Darling, he is so proud of you! Would you like to go see if you can offer him any help?" she asked knowing Shinn would need to learn what to do sooner or later.

"Okay!" Shinn said happily. He hopped off into the family den after his father, giggling all of the way. He came in in time to see his father digging a long claw under the skin, Shinn made sure the flap concealed the room completely and watched him.
Azrael smiled. "Alright Shinn. Watch carefully what I do. On your next hunt I will have you try it." He said. Azrael dug the claw deeper and peeled the rabbit's skin slowly, but for the sake of care not out of enjoyment. He finished with the skin and held the rabbit over the fire to dry it out so it could be saved for the feast. Shinn sat cross legged and watching him intently.

Miluiel smiled watching Shinn leave and run happily off into the family den. Miluiel sighed, it was not something she would likely join then for. She looked at Helena and Tanis. She still felt awkward with Tanis. She sat across the fire from them. She looked into the flame before speaking to them. "How are you both feeling?"
Tanis nodded, feeling the same awkward sensation. "I am fine." he said slowly. "They offered me food, very nice indeed. That fiance of yours is very kind as well. You are in good hands Miluiel." Tanis told her smiling truthfully.

Shinn watched as his father dried the rabbit and set it aside on a piece of rough cloth so it could be fully cooked for the feast. Azrael had a jar of a strange gel that he spread on the inside of the rabbit skin. The substance would make it so that when it dried, the pelt could be used for a more practical purpose. Azrael hung the pelt to dry and turned to Shinn. "Let us go back to our guests. I will remember to bring the rabbit with us when it is time to go." He said.
Shinn nodded and left the room. He didn't think he would ever get used to the skinning, but he knew that he would have to be tough. You had to be a great hunter. Shinn entered the central room, still happy, but I little more subdued after the skinning. Why couldn't they eat like the Little Brothers? He always wondered. Shinn crept slowly up to the fire, not wanting to be a bother.

Miluiel observed Shinn's quiet demeanor she wondered if he was alright, really alright. "Shinn." she called to him inviting him to come and sit with her. What had happened to the happy energetic pup? She waited for Azrael to enter the den. She hoped he would know something.

Helena would smile a little as she had her cheek kissed. “I wonder if the feast in honor of Lady Shera is still to be held. She is here now. I don’t think she is going to be leaving yet.” She would say this gently before looking at Tanis. Her hand would remain on Tanis’ cheek a few moments before moving to her chest again to heal her chest before she would lean up to kiss Tanis upon the lips.

Celeron couldn't help but be excited as Shera relaxed upon his body. He wrapped his arms gently around her as he kissed her head.
"I wonder where the others went off to." Celeron said suddenly as though the time with Shera took away all his attentiveness to everyone else.

Shera was also wondering as she laid there on Celeron. “Could they be preparing the feast?” That was her words as she looked at Celeron carefully allowing him the chance to sit up if he so desires. Her body would lay next to him as she would crane her lips up to his and kiss him gently.

Celeron smiled as he kissed Shera once more before slowly getting up.
"I suppose we should see then. Maybe they can use some help if they need it." Celeron said amused as he offered her his hand up.

Shinn sprang over to Miluiel happily snuggling next to her candidly. "Don't like skinning." Was all he said to her. His energy returned soon however and he was soon hopping around Miluiel clamoring excitedly over his hunt.
Azrael soon joined them and smiled. "It doesn't take long for him to get back up on feet." He said admiringly. "A first skinning is always an unpleasant scene. I am still not fond of the process myself, though I've learned to live with it." He said. "I am sorry if this is a bit off putting to you, my love, but we are carnivores and we can't waste the animals we hunt." He said.

Miluiel shook her head, "Don't worry about it. Our cultures are very different. Usually in our culture the only time the women see the meat that is harvested is when it is cooked. I am glad he is back to his normal self, it had me worried." She said softly placing her hand, but only for a second on the energetic pup's head. "I don't blame either of you for not liking it." She shivered imagining what they did. "What would be the point of the hunt if the animal went to waste?" she said to Azrael, laying against his side. "It is nice to have you back with me though." She whispered with a quick glance at Tanis.
"I think it may be. But I do not know the story, so I have no right to say." Tanis said swiftly. "It seems like it is for a lot of things. Tanis watched Helena for a moment. He was beginning to get a sense of her. Recognizing she was there, and his option. Also that she might be more than just an option. He was beginning to feel for her what he thought he had felt for Miluiel.

“Perhaps.” Her word came gently as she took his hand getting up gently. She’d follow him anywhere. She didn’t want him to feel that she was dead weight. Though she doubted he’d feel that way as she smiled back, her hand closing over his as she stood there.
Helena had a silent smile on her lips as she sat there on Tanis’ lap. The healing would complete as she moved her hands away from her stomach and chest. Her hands would instead just hug Tanis gently and lovingly.

Azrael smiled and put an arm around her shoulders. "Thank you. Though our cultures do have many differences, there are a few similarities. For instance we both have great respect for nature." Azrael said. "Though there are difference in the way we do that. We do not cut trees down, our homes are built from trees that have fallen naturally. Though we hunt other animals, we thank each animal for letting us have them for sustenance and warmth, and a prayer of thanks for each as well. We also do not believe in slavery, or even in livestock." He said. "Which is why I could never stand by while a renegade who spurns out beliefs and damages our pride. So no matter what I will not allow the one who harmed you clan to continue his acts." Azrael said to Miluiel, though very softly. "But until the snow melts and the rains come, we must wait. And while we are here, you can become accustomed to your new second home with us... and as of tomorrow evening this will be our home." Azrael added nuzzling her softly and lovingly.
Shinn was running around the fire playfully when he spotted the sword still at Tanis's side. Shinn back up when he saw it nervously and turned around in the opposite direction back to Miluiel and Azrael. He hated the smell of iron, especially iron tempered into a weapon. Especially after Izalia had been wounded grievously and died by them.
