((Right))
{Enter the Flash from the Sanctum Sanctorum}
Flash stopped just across the street from the office complex, crossed his arms, and leaned back against a light pole. Everyone always overcomplicated things, and he couldn't for the life of him understand why. Go find the bad guys... Punch them. There you go.
{Enter U. Spider-man from the Sanctum Sanctorum}
Spidey landed in a crouch on the roof just above the speedster's head. "So... You're the Flash."
"Uh... Yeah?"
"The fastest man alive."
"Yup!" More than a hint of pride this time.
"So... Why don't the laws of physics apply to you?"
"What?"
"...Nevermind."

(( LOL ))
[enter Wolverine and Rorschach from Sanctume Sanctorum]
Wolverine was the next to arrive, lighting a cigar as he walked. "So, half-pint Spidey, any idea what we're going up against, or are you too new at the hero deal?"
Rorschach was not far behind Wolverine. New York. Still a miserable place, even with vigilantes watching over it. Different Universe, same atmosphere, same face. Same face he'd seen back home. This city would once again be afraid of him.

Same old Logan, apparently. "Dr. Doom I've had a little experience with, but I've never heard of Apocalypse." Suddenly he blinked. "Hold on..." There was a guy in a Rorschach costume... and the mask was shifting. "Is that seriously Rorschach? Like, 'No compromise, even in the face of armageddon' Rorschach?" He couldn't decide if that would be really cool... or kind of... bad. Probably a combination of both.

Rorschach looked at the little Spider-Man, and said, "Erm... I am Rorschach.How have you heard of me? No Spider-Man in my world."

"Um... Well... You're a character in a graphic novel," Spider-man replied after a moment, sounding somewhat apologetic. "Watchmen. There was a movie out recently, too."

Rorschach gave no signs of expression through his mask. "A movie would be impossible. Supporters of Keene Act would stop it."

Spider-man stared. "Yeah... Except that there is no Keene act in the version of earth that I come from. Trust me. There's a movie. I watched it." He'd been a bit disappointed, too. Ah, well.

Since Doomsday was not successful at finding the demonic presence, Apocalypse called him back along with Scarecrow. Both arrived by their master’s side rather quickly and were bowing down to the might of Apocalypse. This treatment was expected of his Horsemen, but Apocalypse had other plan and told them to rise since the more time they bowed, the more time that could be used to locate the last two Horsemen needed to complete the four. Apocalypse started to levitate towards the sky while at the same time levitating both Scarecrow and Doomsday along with him. Scarecrow was useful due to his intelligence and Doomsday was useful for strength, so Famine would need to be fast, and Death would need to have attributes of all three to make it complete. Apocalypse caught the scent of someone very familiar; the X-Man with the admantuim skeleton known as Wolverine. Apocalypse remembered when Wolverine worked for him at one time, but now Apocalypse was looking to recruit new talent to his Four Horsemen, but maybe it would be a good time to test what strength they had in their little group or rather continue searching for more candidates; both options were tempting...

THE WASP
Janet Van DyneJanet let her eyes float over the people as she found her way back to her hotel room. She pulled off her clothes and moved to the window opening it a crack. She wanted to see the city from a dragonfly view. She made herself tiny and slipped out the window. She loved flying it helped her clear her mind. She just had to watch out for people who didn't know she was a person not a bug who might try to kill her or cars that might smash her. Things of that nature were always bad. She was careful in her carefree attitude. There was so much to see, and....why were there so many oddly dressed people in the city? she thought as she flew quickly for a small bug over street after street. She duck and dived and listened to the very loud now people below. She listened for things that she could help with, and just general knowledge. She was a little nosy of other people's problems.

((Enter Spidey and Supes from Sanctum Sanctorum))
Peter grinned underneath his mask at his younger counterpart. "Okay, if there was any doubt in my mind that we're essentially the same person, it vanished when you made that crack about Danny and Felicia... So priceless..." He quickly changed the subject when he realized that Ghost Rider was right next to him. His Spider-sense was buzzing, someone was probably watching them, but there wasn't exactly anything they could do about it right now. It was probably better to wait for Strange before involving themselves in a melee. "Anyway, Apocalypse, for those of you who don't know, can shift shape, regenerate, fly, control minds, yadda, yadda. Anybody need more detail raise your hand and we can have Logan fill you in. Now Dr. Strange should be able to shield all of us from mind probes or control or whatever, so that won't be too much of a problem, But this guy is still one of the heaviest heavys in my universe, so everyone needs to be on their toes okay? Especially since he's working with Doomsday, who routinely goes toe to toe with this guy." Peter jerked his thumb at Superman for emphasis. "Any questions?"
Superman nodded "I'm ready to go when everyone else is. But I just wan to emphasize that Doomsday is highly dangerous, no one should engage him but me. Please trust me on this."

Spider-man and Flash both raised their hands at the same time. "Wait, so I can't fight Doomsday? Diana got to fight him! Stargirl got to fight him!"
"I'm sort of wondering what I'm doing here. Doomsday, Apocalypse... Did I mention that I only started doing this last year? ...I only started doing this last year. Much as I hate to admit it--" He suddenly cut himself off and looked around. Someone was watching them. The spider-sense never lied.

Superman clarified "You can throw things at him by all means, Or use any kind of energy projection you have to hit him with, But most of us here don't have what it takes to engage Doomsday in hand to hand combat. The only exception is Diana, and you'll probably need another strong arm for Apocalypse."
Spider-man jumped up beside his mini-self. "Dude, it's called subtlety, we know their there, just don't let on that you know yet." he whispered.

Flash grumbled to himself, but didn't argue.
Spider-man could have died from embarrassment, but he responded cheerfully enough. "Right. Subtlety," he whispered back, "I've heard of that. I should have realized before; the group of brightly-colored spandex-wearing superpeople should try to be subtle."

[enter Ghost Rider from Sanctum Sanctorum]
Danny rode up on his bike, any traces of stealth in their plan evaporating as he did. Stopping next to the twin Spiders, he said to everyone, "Alright, I got Apocalypse. If what I've heard about Doomsday is right, I won't be much help against him. At least nowhere near as much as against Apocalypse. The Penance Stare has issues with insanity." A repeat of what happened against Venom was NOT what he wanted.
Rorschach was nervous, but only slightly so. "How can I help? No powers. Just combat skill."
