Alekssander narrowed his eyes at the man. He asked too many questions and answered too few, not a winning combination for him. His mind was made up.
"I am but a single person trying to make the world safe for his beloved." He spoke, in half-truths. "No more, no less. Now, do you want supplies or don't you?"

Manji withdrew his handshake before drake could accept it and made his way to join alix He had proven to be to unreliable in his short time among the group and was determined to change the opinion that alix held of him.

Richard kept the person in front of him under careful scrutiny. It was obvious that they didn't trust each other. The tension was thick enough between them, It didn't seem wiser to make it any worse. He nodded and his face started to cheer up, even though underneath the smile was a deadly caution and careful suspicion. "An admirable goal, I guess. Thank you for the hospitality. I only need enough food to last me for tomorrow. The next city shouldn't be too far if I ran."
He stopped, pondered his wordings and then spoke. "Perhaps I've been a bit, rough in the start, I apologize for my misconduct...I've been hunted down since I left, so, sorry for taking a bit of that out on you..."

Alekssander turned his back on Richard and started to walk towards the base, motioning for him to follow. "Whatever. I'm used to it. Halfway there, he met Manji.
"What are you doing out here? Come on." The three of them reached the door, and he turned to Richard. You can wait out here, or you can come in, but the lance stays outide. Savvy?"
Amelia exited the kitchen with a fresh pot of coffee, but Manji was nowhere to be seen. "...Where did he go?" She asked, confused.

Richard nodded. He planted his lance spear end down into the soft soil dampened by the rain and followed the group inside. "I know I might seem suspicious, and I don't want to cause any misinformation or distrust. If you have any other questions to ask, go ahead."
This was a risky move on his part. For one, he had to answer all their questions, he wasn't the kind to betray his word. The others were the possible consequences if he answered too much.

Manji followed Alex inside pulling out a pack of cigarettes and his lighter he quickly lit one and held out the pack to Richard to offer him one

Richard shook his head. "Thanks but I don't smoke...got gum?" His eyes perked up as he thought of gum.

Pat laughed at the new kid, asking for gum. Sounded like a strange request, which he actually smiled as he thought seriously if there was any, and he could only think that if manji had some stashed on his body somewhere, he wouldn't have any idea where any more would be. He sat at the table, his back against the wall, facing towards the door. Within the shadows of the table, he gripped his gun in the holster, but with his other hand, above the table he took swigs of his whiskey straight from the bottle. He sighed a little as the burn throbbed down his throat and into his gut with every swig. He knew the others were powerful enough to take this guy out in a flash if they felt something suspicious, but he wasn't going to let anything go and relax just yet. He didn't like the look of this guy, or his lance.

Manji shrugged and pocketed the cigarettes "sorry your going to have to look elsewere" he said taking a seat at the table with Pat. "little nervous there Irish?" he asked with a smile taking a long drag on his cigarette

Alekssander returned from the kitchen with a blank face, holding a basket. He approached Richard and handed him the basket. "Here. Inside you'll find a loaf of bread, some cheese and jam, a canteen of water, and a candy bar. I hope this will suffice. None of it's poisoned, you can check for yourself."
Amelia, spotting Manji after he had come inside, tapped him on the shoulder. "I have the coffee ready, if you still want it."

Manji watched Alix walk past He was beginning to think that he diddnt hate him maybe he was just a jerk.
Manji turned around when amelia tapped him on the shoulder "uh yes please black no sugar" he said.

"Thanks. I'll trust you to the point that it won't be poisoned" Richard replied. After he accepted the basket he cautiously walked out towards the door. He looked out in both directions and let out a soft sigh when he found nothing. "Thanks again for the supplies, seriously, and good luck with whatever you're doing."

Drake smiled to Lili before he let her hand go and walked towards the stranger. He went outside and said quietly, "I know you are honest in your needs, but...I can tell that you have been in a similar position as we have before. You were in that place...The labs. Are you sure there is nothing else that I, in the least, can do for you? I'm sure you have your reasons for going alone, but..." Drake stopped himself and waited for the stranger to think more. Drake was awfuly curious about this man- he couldn't tell what his ability was through his thoughts. His thoughts were actually quite calm and honest; it was curious.
Holly woke slowly. He felt sore from laying on the hard surface of the cave floor. When she moved her arms to try to push herself into a sitting position her body screamed at her in refusal. How long had she been out? Where was she again? "Rei?" Holly asked in a quiet panic as she sat up as quickly as she could.
Cliff heard voices coming from upstairs, they didn't seem as light-hearted as he'd hoped. Perhaps they were discussing serious affairs. He shrugged and continued to gather samples from Roman's body as he searched, completely unaware of the struggle within the little black box just behind him.
((Ghoden, I have decided to put our plan into motion soon.....Gives us an excuse to get some action going, you know? lol. So, whenever the right situation presents itself...I'll do what I need to, okay?))

Richard stopped. He pondered the situation for a moment. Then he turned around. "You know of the Black Projects that went on in the Labs?" He asked in response to his question. "They were a series of Top Secret Experimentations to further the already developed ECs for...special military use..." His mind began to blank out filling with awful memories of the place. Horrifying experiments, vicious beatings, drug-induced hallucinations and much much worse.
