((hehe we posted at the same time.))
*Synge went over to the bar and looked at the various sodas that there were. After a moment she decided on some Dr. Pepper and took a drink happily. She looked down the hall towards Ben's room and wondered if he was still sleeping. She wondered if she could go check to see, but was worried that she would bother him. She stared the hallway wondering what she should do.*

For a moment, Ben looked at the door. Would Synge be awake? Should he even go outside? If no one else was up but him, he would be rather bored out there. He thought about his situation perplexedly and got up to go to the door. However, he stopped halfway there and though of a wonderful thing he could do to pass the time. He then disappeared into his closet for a moment.

((hehe Nope, but I was on my computer working on PowerPoint, so it was a quick transition. I'm glad you came though, I just got off the phone with Bryan and it was a tad irritating, grrr. Good to have something fun to do!))
*Synge was getting anxious with all of her thinking about not knowing what to do. What harm could it do to just go and knock on a door? She nodded to herself, as if that would help give her confidence. After taking another drink of her soda she set it down on the counter and slowly made her way down the hall. She stopped in front of Ben's door and listened quietly to possibly hear him inside, but there was no sound that she could pick up. She had made it to the door just as he had went into his closet. She hesitated a minute before knocking, somehow that seemed the hardest part.*

In his closet, Ben produced his swimming trousers and decided to go for a swim. He checked himself in the mirror just in time to hear the knock. At first, he hesitated but finally decided to open the door without any issue.
There he stood, in nothing but his swim trunks, when he saw you he was first a bit embarrassed, for once he was the one that had been put in an awkward situation. He knew it was his fault though so he chuckled and laughed it off.
Eh heh...Hi. I was...er...just about to...umm...go swmimming...couldn't sleep?

*Synge waited for there to be a response to her knocking for what seemed like forever. Finally she heard footsteps and relaxed. She was ready to explain why she was there when he opened the door, but his appearance completely threw her off. She actually jumped back a little in surprise. She looked possibly more embarrassed than he did.*
Ah, oh, I'm sorry! Swimming? Oh right, swimming, heh. That makes sense.
*She couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh and an equally nervous smile. She felt silly for reacting the way she did, but couldn't take it back now. She quickly looked over his swimming shorts.*
You surprised me a bit, sorry. Yeah, couldn't sleep. Are you all rested up now?

Much as would be expected, Ben was not finely toned or any kind of fit at all, he was just right for someone his size but without lots of definition. He was still taken aback a little.
Yeah...I...heh...was looking at...you know getting some water...ummm...you could come and talk maybe, even if you just sit on the bench...I don't really want umm...the hot tub...but...just swimming a little. If you want...I mean...
Realizing he had a chance to break out of the conversation he nodded.
Mmhmm...yeah, I slept for a bit and should be good for a little but I might get tired after...I swim.

*Synge looked from his swim shorts to his body. She had never even wondered what he looked like under his dark sweaters, but now she saw. His figure didn't come as a surprise to her, but she found that looking at him made her feel nervous and so she quickly looked back to his face. She tried to translate his scattered speech with a confused look.*
Um...ok? I might want to go swimming too, if that's alright.
*She seemed to handle the situation a lot better than you were, but was still recovering a bit from her initial shock. She nodded in understanding as he spoke.*
Well, at least you got a little rest. Now you can have some fun, yes?

When you show your obvious resolve, Ben seems to calm down too. He was being foolish at being embarrassed. He shook it off and returned a confident smile.
Sure...I was kind of hoping you would...of course, you might have to be seen without your patch again, eh?
It was obvious that Ben was trying to coax you into being more relaxed about the patch even though he had been less than relaxed mere moments ago. He started heading down to the pool as the soles of his feet made a light patter across the wood floor, in this area, the floor was not as hospitable as upstairs but it was certainly safe.
(( I also updated The Angelus/Okuna RP too! You finally get to meet Sasha! *evil grin*))

*Synge kind of froze for a moment when you mention her patch, she had completely forgotten about it for a moment. Of course, swimming would be different now that there was a patch in the way. She regained her composure after a moment and nodded.*
Oh right, heh. Well, I guess I'll have to take it off then. Since you don't seem to mind...
*She saw that you were ready to go the pool so she started to run upstairs, calling down to you as she went.*
I'll be right down, just need to change!
*Soon she was in her room and looking quickly for something to swim in. Luckily she still had one suit for swimming. She held it up and felt a little embarrassed about it. This was really something the old Synge would have been fine with wearing, but she wasn't so sure about the current Synge. She searched for something else, but found nothing. Sighing she accepted fate and changed quickly, but threw a pair of shorts on for now as well. Soon she was back downstairs at the entrance to the pool area and walking to where Ben was.*

He waves a hand dismissively.
Don't be crazy...I mean...I personally like seeing your face, regardless of what might happen to it. Besides, fresh air might do it some good! Okay, see you soon.
Ben nodded and then went to the poolside, he grabbed a towel nearby and set it up for easy grab. Without any more hesitation, he jumped into the water and felt the water feel cold at first but quickly warming up. Smiling, he began swimming around. Secretly, he was proud that Synge would not be afraid to take off her patch.

*Synge spotted Ben in the water and also the towel he had set near the pool. She grabbed a towel for herself and followed Ben's example by putting hers next to his. She carefully slipped her patch off and set it far away from the water so she could still use it after swimming. She then made her way back to the poolside and warily looked at the water. She kept her shorts on for the moment, forgetting she still had them on at all. She tentatively touched her foot in the water to test it. She had been swimming, but never in a pool. She looked at Ben for a moment, wondering if he noticed her behavior or not.*

He looks over to see your face, and smiles. He thought it odd that you were swimming with trunks on but wasn't about to make a note of it. When your toe touched the water, it was cool but you could tell it would warm up after you were immersed. The smell of chlorine reached your nose and had a slightly pungent aroma but the water was as clear as could be.

*She was examining the water closely when you called out to her, causing her to look your way. After a moment she nodded, deciding that if it was safe enough for you, it was safe enough for her. She stood at the edge a moment, and almost jumped in, but then realized she still had her shorts on. Sort of laughing to herself she turned around and slipped them off and laid them near her patch and made her way back to the poolside. She wasn't really worried about being exposed, since she had remembered that you had seen her in the same condition yesterday. Taking a deep breath she jumped in the water. She was surprised that it was as cold as it was and when she broke the surface for air she shivered.*
Cold! Ack!
*She swam around in circles for a moment to warm up, showing that she was a fairly skilled swimmer. Her eye that was usually hidden stayed shut, either because it was forced that way or because it couldn't be opened. Her other eye however, burned a little. She swam over to where you were.*
This water makes my eye itchy, what's in it?

He almost cheers as you get in to the pool, like a small victory in your quest. When he sees you wearing your swimsuit, he was no longer in a professional mode and couldn't help but admire you a minute. He shook it off right as you went under. When you ask about the pool, he realizes he hadn't told you.
Oh? It's chlorine...it is a cleaning agent...it might make your hurt eye sting but it shouldn't hurt it. Make sure to close your eyes when underwater. Oh...have you never been to a pool?

*Synge swam around you as you spoke to her, taking it the weird explanation she was getting.*
Hmm, I see. Well, as long as it won't kill me, heh. Pool? Uh...no...kind of embarrassing I guess.
*She looked a little embarrassed to admit her lack of pool swimming. She shrugged and looked down at her body for a moment that was under the water. It was the body of a girl who ran around outside most of her life, not because she wanted to but because she didn't want to become weak. Lately she hadn't been able to run too much because of the eye, but her body was still fit. Her arms were also strong, but slender from her past training with a sword, and her continued attempts to try fighting.*
