Xander silently slipped into the cemetary, a worried look on his face and a bouquette of lilies in his arms. He felt a chill run up his spine and he tried not to look at the headstones as he walked, wanting to find the overground tome, leave the flowers and get out as quickly as he could. When the caravan told him they needed him to run errands he hadn't realized it would be anything so morbid... but he would do anything to keep a roof over his head and something decent to eat.

Feeling a change in the breeze against Jalceri's feathered wings she looked around and when she spotted the silver haired lovely she stood.

"Going somewhere in a rush?", she asked with a raise brow a smirk.

Though Kimiko could clearly hear Quinn's thoughts, she thought it best to keep her mouth shut and continue down the road towards the woods. She did pause, however, to swirl around and face the boy, looking to him with a cocked expression. You know, you....are very pessemistic. She looked at him a silent moment longer before shrugging at his question regarding families. I don't know, actually. I know that I have several siblings here...all of which just as powerful as I.

If Quinn knew she could read his thoughts, he'd probalby think that it was rude to do so. But since he didn't... well, the thought nary touched his mind. "Yes, well I'm sorry about the pessimism, but paranoia has so far been the main reason I'm still alive on many counts, so I'm sticking with it for now." He mumbled with a strained smile, thinking on close calls of the past all at once. He continued to follow her and looked aorund them, trying to memorize the landmarks in case he got lost.... more lost... again.. his face scrunched together in annoyence at himself, so to distract his thoughts he decided to strike up conversaton again. "Well... that's interesting about your family... I don't have none beyound my mom... and my aunt... I think.... and Anan... but none of them are here... 'cept my aunt... I think" /..hope./ His mind cringed again and topics were wound out again. "Ummm.... I was wondering.. umm.. what were you doing in a graveyard near midnight? Seems.... a little off for a goddess... then again you could a goddess of spirits or something and I'm just being stupid..." he started to babble, trying to fill up the quite void enchroching on them with the night. Though he seemed to be the only one bothered by it.

Xander took in the feathers that adorned Jalceri's back and tried to make head or tails of them. He suppose it shouldn't have shocked him, he'd almost gotten used to Yi xian and his furry face so why wouldn't others in this area have strange characteristics as well? He had a feeling in the pit of his gut that he should simply start running away and not look back, but he still had to lay the flowers at the tome. Taking a deep breath he shook his head and put his flowers on the tome before turning around and rushing out.

"Please excuse me, I have errands to run ma'am..."

For the second time that day, Claudia's tears stopped. She took one last look at the stone and said "I'll come back again... I promise." She pushed herself up and brushed off her skirt. Then she started walking among the other graves.

Jalceri huffed, "Is that what you consider a proper greeting?", she asked the boy who was making a damn good attempt to remove himself as quickly as possible from the cemetary.

A graveyard is just a final resting place for mortals...it's nothing to be frightened of...Kimiko started, almost amused with Quinn again. She placed her hands on her hips now as she watched him, tempted to scare the living daylights out of the boy but talking herself out of it again and again, for sake of 'needing to make friends'.
I'm not a goddess of spirits...I'm not sure what sort of Goddess I am, actually. My mother is a healer, my father is...well, not real, really...This thought made her giggle, and she placed her hands over her mouth and sort of bent forward, a melodic, rather hypnotizing sound. But really - There's nothing to fear. Unless you're subconsciously so terrified that something's going to come out of it's grave that you're going to make it happen...Because that's very possible. She grinned as she completed this sentance, almost hoping that it would scare teh boy.

If anything her laughter unsettled QUinn mroe then her implications. It felt weird going down his spine and made his head feel a little dizzy. After she was done he snapped to attention more rigidly, tryign to make up for the ... induced off-reeling of his brain. He didn't like it when his mind got away from him becasue of something else other then himself. Made him think of his mum and her 'incense' she used when customers were around. Made your mind go.... off.

Recovering he replyed, trying to concise and regulate hiw words, but probably failing. " Well, if anything, things that are 'not real' are real here.... or at least are real elsewhere which effects whats real here.... " He said, thinking vaguely back to his conversatoin with Madison earlier that night " So your fathers probably real, just not real here... 'cause he'd have to be real in some sense to make you... but then again it could be soemthign completly different for goddesses..... and I'm making no sense again...." his voice dropped off. "But... I would not be suprised if something did pop out of its grave.... it's happened before.... but personally I'm more worreis about the livng things.. or near living tings, that hang around graveyards....." he gave Kimiko a slight eyeing "They are sometimes not there for... good reasons. So again, pardon my paranoia."

Kimiko grinned widely to the boy, debating whether or not to play on his paranoia with a simple little shape shifting. She shook it, though, deciding that she still wanted to be friends with the boy, and shook her head to him. I'd tell you there's nothing to worry about, but thinking about it now, I suppose that'd be a lie, right? She giggled and shook her head, slipping her arm around his and sort of snuggling to him. Your paranoia makes me giggle. And I can promise you that should something decide to say hello from beyond the grave, I'll protect you, hai?

It felt odd having anyone cuddle up to him in such a long time Quinn decided. Didn't matter what Kimiko was, she felt human... physicly.. and it had been a long time sicne he'd really spent any time close to touch something that wasn't feathered or furred. He calmed down a little bit at Kimiko's decleratoin though. Though he still doubted her sincerity, it was the thought that counted right now.

"Thanks" he said meekly. " At least I'm not annoying you. Ummm.... I must ask.... where are we going exactly?" He didn't recognize the surrounding buildings form his previous travels... but then agian everythign looks different from night and day.

Ummmm...This way? Kimi giggled, a mock-innocent look about her. You said you needed a place to stay, so I'll take you to somewhere where you can stay and not worry about anything! she declared, giggling some as she sort of bounced in her steps.

"Ummmm.... Okay...?" /That's not as reasurring an answere as I was hopign for.../ he thought. But then again, beggers couldn't be choosers.

The night sounds began creeping in again as Quinn was at a loss of things to talk about for a moment. Off in the distence he could here an owl hooting. For most people taht was a creepy sound, but it calmed Quinn down some. If tehr ewere no animal noises, like back at the graveyard, then he'd be worried. Well, more worried. Plus, he'd goten to liking owls after all these years of having them pop up at his windows with parchments demanding he be submittted or re-submitted to whatever magic school was nearby..... until his mother either gave in and sent him for a little while or they moved again. He'd goten into the habit of keeping the birds aroudn for a few days with treats for company, but they'd always have to leave eventually.

Lost in his musings, and finally calming down a bit, if not much, he let the goddess girl skip and guide him along, til he blurted out.." what animals do you like?.... oh... umm.. sorry.... just curious..." he blushed, feeling sorry he'd burst the silence again.

Animals?! Kimiko giggled, pausing to look to Quinn. She shook her head and snuggled to his arm again as she lead him further from the cemetary. Well, I like large cats...and little birds? She told him, tilting her head to think on this. Aquatic animals are good, too. she giggled, glancing to him as they walked. What kind do you like?

*Post his responce in the lake, hai?*

Jeika lurked through the various shapes and sizes of stone markers in the oldest part of the cemetary, nearest the woods. In his white wolf form, he sniffed with his nose just barely to the ground, his large yellow eyes more upwards, his ears tuning to the noises that he himself caused and the noises of the small birds and other animals not too far away.

Bored out of her mind, Diviana finally decided to escape the manor to take a walk at night. She wore her normal attire, not finding it difficult to walk around the cemetary. Though, to avoid dragging her dress along the ground, she lightly lifted her skirts as she moved. Hips swaying, Diviana causally walked among the graves, humming a light tune as she looked over the names of the dead.
