Honestly, she couldn't believe she made it on the starting team--especially since she stole from her own teammate at last years tryouts. Maybe it was because of that, though. He was two years old than her, and much more experienced. While on the subject of Devonte, she called out his name to toss him the ball. "Catch!"

Mira was no where in sight. Literally. He'd hardly seen even a glimpse of her throughout the game. When he finally took notice that a bludger was headed right for him, it was too late to try and twist around to dodge it. At high velocity, the canon fired right into his side and bounced off his shoulder with a sickening thud. For a second, he almost thought the bone had cracked, but if that was the case, he probably wouldn't still be flying around and cursing vehemently into the air. Juggling his bat in his right hand while cradling his left shoulder, he'd have to move slower to keep balanced, now that he was down to one good arm. Still, he wouldn't quit. So he chased after that bludger and fired it down on their veteran beater, Chase, hoping for luck.
