Dusk ended up smiling some more at the random kisses and hugs. She used to hate it when someone would even consider it, but… For now, she loved it. Giving another smile at the other, she soon leaned up, her arms around the other as she kissed him deeply. “Tonight’s been perfect.” Another smile and she didn’t let go of him until the elevator opened and they were moving into the apartment. Once the door was beginning to open, though, Dusk froze. There was a smell… And she didn’t like it. It was familiar… Sour… Coppery…
“Ah hell…”
Muttering her words, she soon was cautious, allowing Kyoshi to open the door before freezing. On the floor of the living room was a body, slashed and burned and completely unrecognizable save for a single feature. There was a mark on his –she assumed his- arm, one that was obviously elvish. On top of the body set a mask, almost a masquerade look to it, pitch black.

It didn't escape Kyoshi's attention of a horrible smell but he couldn't place it, again trying not to let those nagging instincts of his jump him into territorial mode to break something and someone for crossing his floor.
As he opened the door the angel froze in place at the sight of a burnt person with some odd mark and a mask. Getting on full alert, he held Dusk close to him and looked around behind him where the elevator was. The angel untucked his shirt to get his pistol taking it off safety and entered the apartment slowly and cautiously. "Do you feel or hear anyone or thing?" He asked softly.

Frozen in the spot, Dusk didn’t know what it was that she was supposed to do at the moment. It wasn’t hard for her to recognize the mask… and it wasn’t hard for her to recognize the marking on the man’s arm. Talon, Ziggy, and she all three had the same marking. “Kyoshi…” Her voice was soft as she gently touched the man’s hand, “They’re not in the house…” She knew that they wouldn’t be or else they would have already been shot down and the body wouldn’t have been there.
Her eyes closed as she took a breath, instantly regretting it as the smell of the body went to her nose. She covered her mouth, forcing her body not to retch before glancing over at him, “Just… can we get this body gone? Now?”

Kyoshi shook his head, backing out of the apartment and closing the door shut, pushing her gently to the elevator. "No. Whatever the hell this is about is evidence and I'm not going to let it go as if it's just another body." Even though the smell of it was horrifying, Kyoshi was shocked and unnerved by this sudden thing.
"I'm taking you to Joker's or somewhere to stay until I clean it up." He said, holding her close and keeping alert as they entered the metal mechanism that would take them to the ground level.

Struggling a bit, Dusk shook her head, “Damn it, Kyoshi! Get it out of the apartment!” For once, her eyes were pleading, something that she hadn’t had in the longest time. “That mask is a tracker… They may already have known where this place is, but you want that thing far away from here.” She locked eyes with him. The woman had no problems going to Joker’s, there she would explain, but… She needed to see what it was that Rave knew about this. There was no way that the Hunters were near and the man didn’t know it.
Already at Joker’s was Eldin, leaning a bit on the table as he watched the insane man in front of him. Rave had told him to get there, seeing as he didn’t remember how to get to Gambler’s, making sure to call Joker first before he allowed Eldin to go. For now, they were just waiting for Gambler to get there herself, knowing that Kalore and Monty weren’t going to show. But Rave had a feeling that Eldin wasn’t going to mind that all that much…

Kyoshi narrowed his eyes on Dusk. "What the f*ck do you mean that mask is a tracker? How the f*ck does anyone know to put it there?" He asked, hurrying the elevators movement quickly down to the lobby, landing safely even if they practically went down fast. What angered him was somehow, someone found his apartment when he made damn sure no one knew it.
Not even Gambler knew and that was saying something. Grabbing Dusk's arm he was highly alert, keeping the pistol hidden between him and Dusk, speed walking to Joker's. Thankfully it was not far from here.
Gambler indeed came, through the kitchen door to grinning wildly at the sight of Eldin. "There's my favorite elf in all the world!" She squeed and ran to him, hugging Eldin like she would anyone else, as if he was a son to her. "I got you something. I didn't know if you like this stuff but you seemed to when you were with the Twins." She said, giving him the latest PSP with a few games that would entertain him and then some interesting books about medicine and herbs that came out.
Giving him a quick kiss on the cheek she went over to Rave to give him kiss as well and a bottle of whip cream. "That's for later." She winked mischieviously and then gave Joker a big head sized lollipop. "YAY!!!!" He grinned licking it already. "So Eldin, did you get here okay?"

Eldin blinked a bit in confusion with the gifts, simply nodding as he took them, soon hugging the woman back. “Oh um… thank you, Miss Gambler.” He gave her a shy smile, but it looked different on his older face. In the months that it had taken everyone to get over the Fae incident and Kalore coming home, the boy had shot up at least a foot, now almost the same height as Kalore, meaning that he was taller than Gambler. And Dusk. He smiled softly at the other, nodding a bit more, trying not to focus on the fact that Rave was rolling his eyes. “I got here quite well, actually. But… um…” He looked over at Rave, “Well…” The teen watched as Rave sighed, nodding some, “He thinks so?” Eldin nodded. “Okay.” Glancing over at Gambler, he kissed her cheek, “I’ll be right back, I need to call Lord Kyin, okay?” Fiddling a bit with his fingers, Eldin gave a small smile to the woman, “I do hope that you don’t mind me bringing up something for Sir Rave…” “I don’t know, Kyoshi…” Dusk didn’t even react much as she was being practically dragged alongside the other man. She didn’t know how it was that they had been tracked down, but… she guessed that that was why they were called the Hunters. “I’m… I’m sure that I know how this happened… Or… why…”

Gambler blinked. "Sheesh Eldin your not..." She sniffled. The cute elf was taller now, easily towering over her but he was still cuter than ever. Sitting down she smiled at Eldin. "You can go ahead and do what you need to do." She loved how well mannered Eldin was, it was very nice.
"Then explain." He snapped, not directing it at her but at who ever it was that was stupid enough to cross him in his territory. Now he was pissed off and wanted someone's head on a silver plater so that he can enjoy looking at the fool for a while. They arrived at the front door, opening it with his mind and pushing Dusk in first, looking around for anything that was out of place. "They are in the kitchen." He heard voices there so duh he knew that.

Dusk was near panicking as she nodded some, “Kyoshi… damnitt, I’m sorry that this happened…” She didn’t think that it was going to happen. After Zaine had left… Why would they still be around? Elke was dead, her father was dead, Lucien was dead… Who else was there that would want Dusk hurt?! Looking back at him, she had to hug him for a moment, “Just… Kyoshi, they’re not going to come out for a day or two… Just… trust me on that.” Dusk knew what it was that the Hunters did, being someone that had brushed against them more than once.
Biting his lip, Eldin had to smile at the other woman’s pout. He didn’t look that different, save for him looking much more mature, taller, and his hair was now down to his shoulders. “I just need to be here and relax, actually…” But he could hear the hushed whispers from Rave in the other room. Now that he had had time to calm down, Eldin was much more… calm? Collected? One of the two words, or both. He could actually concentrate, and by doing so he was able to notice that there was a tone in Rave’s voice that was… spine chilling.

Gambler smiled. "Then you can rest and relax as much as you want, dear." She said getting up to get something to drink. Momentarily Joker stopped licking his treat and looked at Eldin. "You can stay with me or with Gambler and Rave. On second thought go with Gambler, the demon is here alot with Kalore and man are they loud as hell." He rolled his eyes and went back to licking his treat.
Kyoshi hugged Dusk and kissed her forehead. "I do trust you. Now get to the kitchen and sit down. I'm going to do a sweep of the place in case." He said and pointed at the kitchen door for her to go to.

She didn’t want to leave him, not yet. Dusk was rarely scared, but once she was it was obvious. Closing her eyes for a moment so that she could just calm down for a bit, the woman nodded before soon moving over to be able to get into the kitchen, giving them a smile and nodding to Eldin. “Hey… I hope you don’t mind me dropping by…”
Eldin smiled at Gambler before smiling even more at Dusk, “Miss Dusk!” He had gotten yelled at the last couple times he had called her ‘princess’ or ‘Miss Cecilia’ or even ‘Cecilia’, so he finally decided to just break down and call her what she wanted to be called. Kinda.

Gambler looked up surprised from her water and nodded in greeting to the female. "Hey Dusk. How's it going?" She asked with a welcoming smile. Joker just waved his hand in greeting as he was so far into his lollipop there was no hope for him to drop it.
Kyoshi sighed, not wanting to leave Dusk but she was safe with Joker Gambler and who ever else was here. No doubt Rave was possibly here so Dusk was very safe. Walking around he ended up making a full circle and came back slowly, checking for anyone hidding above him or on the ground, touching the ground and trees or buildings for anything off. So far things were good so he entered Joker's house, closing the door and then move to the kitchen. "Hey everyone."

By the time that Kyoshi came back, Dusk was a complete wreck, but she was someone that had learned how to mask it very well. Sitting at the table, she laughed and smiled with everyone, also hearing the tone in Rave’s voice, something that the others couldn’t hear. Glancing over at her man, Dusk nodded some, “Hey…” Her eyes held the question. Did he find anything?

Kyoshi shook his head slightly, sitting down next to Dusk and pulling her close. Stroking her arm lightly, he looked at Eldin and blinked. "Is that the kid?" He asked, refering to Eldin as someone who was short when he met him.
The boss rolled her eyes and hugged Eldin close, pushing him behind her to defend. "Leave him alone. Your jealous he's adorable." "And tall as hell." Joker commented from behind his treat, both people oblivious to what just occurred to Dusk and Kyoshi.

Dusk nodded some, “I told you guys that he was going to shoot up…” She watched as the elf simply blinked, running a hand through his longish hair, smiling like normal. “I… I don’t think that I shot up that much…” “You went from my neck to me looking up… That’s not cool.” It was good to be talking like this. It was distracting, and distracting what was the woman needed right now. She watched again as Eldin almost blushed, “Well… how’ve you been, Miss Dusk?”
Stiffening just a bit, she simply nodded, “I’ve been… fine, Eldin.”
