Im 1/2 of those people.

I can't belive the seahawks killed the panthers so bad. Finally, my state has a pro team thats going to a championship.

Val, I come in here at least once every day! I haven't abandoned you guys! I just...don't post often. There hasn't been really anything to post about, honestly.

And woo~ I was at waitressing while that game was on, and it was so slow...so I got to watch the game. And I was cheering on the Seahawks. WOO! =D

Yeah, it was really slow. At least the first quarter things were happinging. The last half was just a stalemate between defences

My activity would probably be a whole lot higher if my computer would just show up. You know. So I could connect to the interwebs for doing things that AREN'T work related.

Oh, and I lost my mouse, meaning that I had to drop 40 bucks on a replacement, and even IF my computer showed up this very instant, my mouse doesn't get here until next week. That's about par for the course I'd say

7 months of this horseshit and still no computer. Yeah, I'm getting pretty tired of it, and I don't think there's a computer in the world worth this kind of trouble. Ugh.

SOB HARPER WON.

And hey Thorny. >.o

BUT JEEZ

I've hated Harper ever since he took the Progressive out of Conservative. Liberals have their money scandals, Conservatives have their "GAY PEOPLE SUCK" and "HAR NO ABORTIONS" and "HEY LET'S ALL GO TO IRAQ"... The only party that doesn't drive me nuts is the NDP.

*siiiigh*

It also made me sad how anti-American some of the commercials were. "Don't vote Harper, he's Bush's friend! AND BUSH HAS COOTIES!"
PostPosted: Wed Jan 25, 2006 7:44 am

Those kind of ads have been all over American media. And they make me laugh with delight because politics is so retarded.

"Harper is a friend of Bush. Well at least someone will be happy, eh?"

......

...........

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *gaspwheeze* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I shouldn't be laughing that American government is the laughingstock of the world but it's just so damn funny.

I know. That was the most ridiculous commercial I've ever seen.

Canada's government is bad. I mean, really. There are verbal fights in the House of Commons. And there was this hige scandal... people say the Liberals purposely underestimated our surpluse by about 900 million dollars.

THAT'S A LOT OF DOLLARS

I remeber there was this huge phase, for like, months... where everyone who was anyone referred to Paul Martin as "dithering." I'd rather have someone who changes his mind about a bad decision and thinks it over rather than one who sticks with a bad decision (kind of like Kerry's being accused of often "flip-flopping"). Yep, PM Martin, the Ditherer...

Seriously. Google "Martin" and "dithering", and you get over 124,000 results.

YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT I THINK? DDD:

NOTHING.

YEAH, THAT'S RIGHT. NOTHING. BECAUSE USUALLY ALL THE WHINING ABOUT GOVERNMENTS DOES NOTHING BUT MAKE THINGS WORSE. SO I DO NOTHING BUT... NOTHING.

...

...

...

Considerably speaking. xd

Actually, something should be done concerning some things in America's government, especially our foreign policy. HOWEVER not to the degree - or the ways - that most of the nit-wit, extremist, bitchy American citizens have. But that's just my opinion.

And Soloist, you stand corrected: America nor Americans in general are the laughingstock. Our nation has done a lot of good things in the past, present, and I'm sure we'll be a helping hand to someone in the future, somewhere. We deserve our pat-on-the-back, and respect, just like any other nation of individuals. On the other hand, American politicians are. :3

Sorry Annie, Soloist wasn't entirely wrong. your country has been made a laughing stock. Most of your country has been stereotyped and anybody who hasn't been there or doesn't care beleives in them. Personally I canf't believe how much s**t you guys put up with.
As for the sponsership scandal, it wasn't 900 million dollars. that's a bit too dr. Evil, but yeah, it was a hefty sum of money.
I really can't poke too much fun at the US though. Look at Canada! BC is comepletely alienated to the point where going to Quebec is will draw the same questions as going to the southern states. "Do you live in an igloo, do you have running water, and hey have you EVER seen the simposns? I here you don't get cable over there..." Fecking fools.
Look at our government now! We just voted ourselves from a known lying deadlock, into an unknown extremist deadlock! This man wants to change GENERATIONS of toil into nothing in one year. This will come in the form of raising taxes and killing free medicare...which I kinda depend on for sight....bleh to him. Luckily though this won't happen. In fact, almost none of his campaign promises will. Why? Becasue Canada has elected a minority government that may only make desicions with the permission of the leading party...who is their opposition. This is one more reason I fexing hate democracy.

I think America's done pretty ********' well for being barely over two centuries old. I think it's humanity that's gotten worse.

What we NEED is a good God. Like one who loves everyone, except idiots.

Ch'yeah, two centuries. Although...fifty years ago was when we really started expanding. After WWII, our economy BOOMED. I actually studied the statistics and stuff a few weeks ago in my economy class. We were relatively...average...before then. Nothing much. England has had much grandeur for centuries, and they had much more grandeur than we did, then. (And I'm not saying we have more than them now, either, guys. xp Nyeh, I always have to be so careful about what I say or people are like "All you Americans are so pompous!" sweatdrop )

"Has been made." Present Perfect Progressive Tense. That signifies a maker, who in the past and present is doing the...whatever they're doing...and it'll be ongoing into our future. Is it our politicians, like I assumed? Or is it our people? The ones I see on the school bus? Or those old ladies that play bingo downtown every Wednesday? That average Joe driving to work each morning? Who?

Our Chief Justices? Our local authorities? Our soldiers fighting in the Middle East? Celebrities from Hollywood? Or is it our fellow nations making us into the laughingstock? I'm honestly not trying to be smart-alecky...I'd just like an answer. I just assumed politicians, since they're generally the case. ninja heart

Jokes about us actually do hurt my feelings, a lot. They don't offend me - they hurt me. And it's like repeated blows. It just never stops. But whatever. I guess I just have to put up with foreigners thinking of me and my family as...... for the rest of my life, for things I don't even understand, myself.

And I think this is something we all have in common: a sense of humor.

That's the problem with people. Too many have only five senses, and, for whatever reason, refuse to develop others, along the lines of common sense and sense of humor.

One of the most necessary aspects of normal living is the ability to tell the difference between a joke and a jerk.

Edit: Also, I want this bumper sticker:
