I said that this argument has ended, and this statement applies to everybody, primarily involved or not.

Somnis, this was clearly something that you knew very well would escalate yet you did nothing to prevent it from going that way. Not only this, but as it began to clearly escalate instead of taking this to PM's as the guild rules state, you continued right here, in my village, in my OOC thread, and clearly on my watch. If you have an issue with someone, take it to PM's. Tares is not the only old member who is just returning past the deadline given, yet he seems to be the only one you've targeted to outline such rules. Remember you yourself have fallen absent in the past.

So, the way I see it both of you were in the wrong. Tares, in order to receive an autorank you must PM an RP sample to the kage of that village (me), as well as get it approved by a VC (Greg or Hinote). Get that done and you're good to go, however cease roleplaying until then. Somnis, you escalated what was sure to be a volatile situation without any intention to take the argument to PM's as outlined in the guild rules. Now, do you really want me to give you both a warning, or can this just be resolved peacefully? We're in the process of closing a chapter on the guild, so how about closing the chapter on what's been said in the past about this guild as well? Co-existing here does not have to be that hard, so let's not make it so.

Now I don't need any replies to what I've said here serious or otherwise. If you have something you wish to say to me pertaining this feel free to PM me. Other than that, let's consider this matter resolved here.

Actually it was brought to my attention earlier today. I was quoted in the forum. So yes I'm aware now. I had work today though so I don't know if ill post tonight or not. I'll make a post tomorrow, hopefully. I'm off of work, but you know how that goes.

If a post is not made by 12:00 PM gaia time, saturday august 18th, I would like to declare an autohit of my lightning bolt, to end the need to wait on a post. Duo will be taken to the Kirigakure hospital, and the rest of us will continue with our posts.

Himura is a terrible shot and aimed ten seconds before actually firing, so while he would have missed anyways, Gage had also already moved before he shot, throwing it off even further. Not to mention lightning is super slow anyways, so he could totally have dodged it.

Also, David, a B rank with Tactical type, which is the only thing in the guild that enhances reaction time, has only A ranked reaction time. So yeah, a genin shouldn't have that. For that matter, speed type would only put him up to C as well, so really, he has chuunin speed and reaction time. And that's without factoring in the lack of chuunin experience in USING that, so really, he should only have high genin reaction time. Better than a genin, but still beat out by a chuunin. Certainly no match for a jounin.

I'm sorry, but I have to pick at this one. There is no way you could have avoided that, intentionally or not. You're simply not fast nor skilled enough to move in such a way that would throw off an S rank's aim, and if you didn't even know it was coming even less so. The only way to avoid it is if you moved after it was fired, because Himura simply wouldn't have aimed that badly. And recall that this is a lightning bolt. It moves at a minimum of C rank, since that's it's rank, and probably faster at that. In other words, it is as fast as, or faster than, your own maximum speed. Since you are completely unaware of it, the advantage of reaction speed doesn't even apply.
