By the way.. HI EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
*Cough* Anyways.. I saw the trailers for it and read all the info.. I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY!! It looks like it's gonna be even bigger than WoW!! (My current addiction) It seems my current interest has brought out the gamer in me... I've been playing so many video games lately XP
Then again.. I can't wait for the WoW Expansion to come out... Blood elves.. biggrin
I'm gonna laugh if they actually have Pandarens for the Alliance new race xd

I've never played WoW.
I actually refuse to play it.
I know too many people helplessly addicted, and I'm not gonna be one of them.
Though, even if I did play, I don't think I would be addicted.

I boycott WoW too.
Oh, and if Morrowind was any indication, Oblivion's going to blow.
RPGS + First Person = Very very retarded
Now, we need to get back into the Final Fantasy feel of things. Not even Real Time Combat is necessary in my book. Turn-Based is just fine with me.

If you want an RPG like Final Fantasy, try Dragon Quest 8. It's lurking downstairs somewhere. It's a really well thought-out fighting style, turn-based, and the graphics are next to gorgeous. Not to mention the one chick in it is super hot...you can actually dress her up in what looks like a playboy bunny outfit.

I'm a beta tester for a new turn-based MMORPG. I named a town in it and won a free subscription for it (I forget how long sweatdrop ) when the full version comes out. :3
I'm not a huge fan of the Final Fantasy/Breath of Fire-esque game mechanics. It's generally cut and dry.
Well, besides FFII's stat growth/weapon level system. That was pretty neat. I'd like to see it again, FF or no.
I like Golden Sun's, too. A LOT. The way a ranged spell's damage works out is kickawesome, and the djinni/stat system is just plain cool. Plus, summons are hawt.
Hm... let's see. There's always Fire Emblem, which counts for an RPG. The formula for hits is fairly simple, although I've often been shorthanded by the luck aspect of it--the Random Number Generator. I've gotten levels where no stat increases have been awarded (I'm looking at YOU, Rolf), and missed with over 90% chance of hitting, then criticaled on the counterattack with a 2% chance of that happening (I'm looking at YOU, Rolf).
I like real-time RPGs (but not RTS D: ). Well, in general. Some games it works, others it doesn't.

Yeah, sleep is over-rated, unfortunelty a good internal clock is not... damn New Years screwed me over...
I dunno, I personally thought Morrowind was an OK time waster. It's definately not the best game I've played though. Don't let that put you off from the first person RPG though! Deus EX was AMAZING, and so was System Shock 2! Well, ok, so it seems that the first person Sci-Fi RPG's are worth alook so far, but seriously, those two games are some the most skillfully thought up games ever. I'm dying to get my mitts on a copy of the sequel to Deus Ex, Deus Ex: Invisible War. ^_^
Nyaaaaaahhh! *Bangs head on desk* I still lack the ability to draw ANYTHING serious! ...Feck, maybe I should start practcing Shoujo..... That might at least make me able to draw something serious, damn you lack of talent! DAMN YOU I SAY! LOL I have chocolate! blaugh

Radiata Stories is underrated. The only downsides I can find with it are that it takes too long to get into the meat of the story, the art style takes some getting used to, though it is very appropriate, and there's just tooooo much. It's like Suikoden's 118 stars, but there's 177 of them, and most of them have some ridiculous involved process you have to go through to get them LightoftheDark I'm gonna laugh if they actually have Pandarens for the Alliance new race They can't. It was originally intended as such, which would have pissed me off a LOT and been completely counterproductive--blood elves are supposed to balance the population, but more people would rather be pandaren--but then Blizzard found out that China has outlawed any form of entertainment that shows pandas being killed. The Blood Elf dance is retarded, by the way. and when did gaia get so "XTREME PLUS, BABAAAAY!!!!!!!!"?
