Some do...when Amish turn 18 they're allowed to go out into the world and figure out how they want to spend the rest of their lives. The irony of it is that they usually only have an 8th grade education, so they're totally unprepared for life in a normal society, and they can't go to college because they have no high school diploma. The adult amish really knew what they were were doing when they educated the kids. They feel so out of place in our society that they HAVE to go back to Amish lifestyle. A rare few actually stay in our society.
