This is me being bored.

This is also me going to read it again once I'm done with the laundry.

Ninja Scroll was a peice of flaming crap... good looking crap, but crap non-the-less. For those who haven't seen it let me some it up for you. Jubei (the famous ONE-EYED SAMURAI) is a ninja who is on the lookout for a profit. He runs into the middle of a feud between 2 governments of one kind or another that involves combat between a troop of ninja and a bunch of demons. the ninja get their asses handed to them. He saves some poison riddled chick who hates him, but he turns out to be poisoned himself. He mus go off and kill the head demon whatzit to get the cure. As a result the rest of the script follows a pattern of blood, sex, blood, sex, sex, some more blood, blood, and in the end, tragic misfortune and a ride off into the sunset. It makes NO SENSE. Example, one of the coolest fights in the movie is a confrontation between Jubei and some blind dude who follows him just to kill him simply for giggles. He's only in the movie for about 7 minutes and isn't affiliated with any other party. He gets wiped out and everybody is happy. The story however is right back where it was when he arrived.

Yeah, I'm not a fan.... Leox, nope sorry I've got no MP5, but I do have a fair stock of 303 hunting rifles and I think 5mm rifles as well.... not sure what the exact calibre is but I prefer my bow anyway.

Actually Ninja Scroll is about a TWO EYED mercenary samurai with a special sword that lets him project the force of the blade into the distance. At the beginning he is charge with an item called the Dragon Stone and with the life of Shigure, the new Light Maiden, last descendant of the ancient Hiruko clan.

For the record, there was no blind dude.

I'm still sorta dead... Been to busy with stuff, being the holiday season and all.

I really apologize...I feel like I just tend to abandon you guys. As for now, I guess I'm on a semi-haitus. Val's in charge, I'm sure he'll do fine in my place. I'll try and drop by, but I doubt that I'll be online as much as I used to be. Life...it's taking over...

This doesn't mean I'm leaving and never coming back, though. I'm just giving you the heads up that I won't be super-active. Sorry...like I said, real life tends to take hold at some point or another ^^

Holy crap, Jar, your Ninja Scroll sounds A LOT better than mine! Is it live action or something? For the record I'm trying to say that Jubei is SUPPOSED to only have one eye, but in the Ninja Scroll I saw he has two and is no longer a samurai for some reason.
I can't think of the name of the director but he is the same dude who directed 'Program' in the anthology Animatrix.
Actually Jar, did you see the Ninja Scroll movie or series? They supposedly have the same animation crew but the storyline is either a sequel or prequel, I'm not sure which. Granted teh series is also supposed to be better than the film but I've not seen it so I've no opinion on that.
