There was no response..none except a faint pulsing as Aster stepped in Kanna's astral pane. Lotus blossoms floated in the murky water, growing abnormally large and their scent was overwhelmingly powerful. One opened as he stepped in, strangely releasing much smaller lotus blossoms into the air to fall like rain. A pale lavender light shined throughout the area, only shining with the palest semblance of Kanna's power.
In the middle of these lotus blossoms stood one that was giant, towering over the others like a mother would her children, but this one was closed and instead of the creamy white color of a lotus, the deep indigo color of Kanna's eyes shaded its petals. This was where the soul lay, waiting for the right moment to blossom and come back to the body it is supposed to inhabit.
The sound of a young child's voice was followed by the light laughter of a teenage girl, whose figures appeared in the distance, dancing in the rain of lotus blossoms, each holding a pair of fans exactly like the one Kanna owns. The teen held it with a practiced grace, a small smile on her face and eyes closed, while the little girl could barely holding hers for they were much to big for her and osmething that should have been far too dangerous to hold. In frustation, the child dropped the fans, forgetting that the fan was bladed and cutting her hand. She began to cry, but the teen continued on dancing, the smile fading form her face but that was all.
These were the younger versions of Kanna, each one showing how she became what she was as she grew up.

Troden smirked, moving to take the lead and bring the group to the Rajen base where a group of his men awaited. He landed, quickly followed by An'ari..much to the surprise of many of the elders, "Call all of the Rajens for a meeting. We have much work to do." he said, not giving them time to ask anything. They nodded and immediately set off to do what was ordered.
"Not bad.." An'ari said as he watched them go, "Your group has improved since I last saw them."
"I should hope so since the last time you saw them was when we were just getting organized..." he said with a grin.
An'ari didn't reply to that but he did shake his head, "They still need alot of work, but they will be fine for now." he then pulled Troden aside for a moment before saying, "The Book of the Ten.. you didn't destroy it am I correct?" Troden frowned but nodded, "Good. it will be of great service to me now. Bring it here and I will tell you why."
Troden frowned even more before going off to retrieve the book.

Sound filtered around Jack's motionless body. The b*****d had graciously left enough energy in Jack to keep his body functioning. Sound like energy soaked into Jack's body and his body ate it up like a parched plant until finally, his hand spasmed and gripped the earth, his claws extending digging grooves. A bit more sound, music, cars, people, the wild, all contributed to seeping a bit more energy to Jack until finally he was able to sit up. He couldn't see straight, though but he had enough energy to be pissed off. What the hell just happened. Was Tara just possessed. She'd been talking about her father just before it happened. No wonder the Sulla children were so violent, their old man was a psychopath! Magnolia had calmed down respectively, she looked to Dorien, her hair color back to it's normal smoky brown, Should I go in with them? She asked.Aurora tilted her head, "This is going to get juicy!" She clapped her hands and squealed, feeling An'ari. Just as An'ari fed of other's powers, she loved to feed of him in turn. The man was a genius when it came to generating chaos and it was a sweet thing to taste. Merlin stilled as only a vampire could in her surprise. It had been awhile since she'd felt that power signiture. She'd only met An'ari a moment and she hadn't been his focus at the time so she couldn't really say they had been aquainted. She wasn't sure what she thought of him, though that one time she'd seen him she knew she didn't want to shake his hand, no, she didn't want him touching her at all.Kaz felt An'ari as well, "Yikes!" Was all she said.

Tara looked at her father almost fearfully as he turned to her, his pale blue eyes hardening slightly as he stretched out his hand, "We must talk. Now." he said calmly, his voiced laced with hidden rage, "You will tell me what the Lotus have been doing and why you nearly had your own brother killed by Dorien. And this...Jack person." she froze at the mention of his name.
"What...what did you do to him?" she asked in barely a whisper as she took her father's hand.
He grinned before laughing lightly, "Oh don't worry, I left him alive..just barely. You should thank him for he helped me bring my body back to normal...almost normal anyway."
Tien looked at Merlin in confusion as she adn Aurora began acting strangly. He then stiffened slightly as he felt his father silently calling him. His eyes widened slightly at that. No...Father could barely move much less call me. And his power...it's practically doubled in strength! He stood up, paling more than usual. Tien was only a novice at causing chaos and compared to his father..he was nothing. And An'ari was never trained by any of the Ten.
"Father..." he murmured, "How could that be?"
"I'll tell you everything," Tara said hurriedly, "If you leave Jack alone."
An'ari looked almost triumphant as he nodded, "Of course my child, of course." He watched as she looked down and tears fell down her face, "It's a shame you inherited your mother's kindness...you could have been a legend." she didn't reply as he placed two fingers upon her forehead channeling the information as she thought of it. It only took a moment and once it was done, An'ari lowered his hand a low growl on his throat.
"Kanna has lost her soul...I'll make show Dorien exactly how that feels.." he said, far too calm for comfort. He looked to the sky, his fangs lengthening slightly as only a vampire's could, "I'll make all who oppose me pay as well."

Dorien said nothing still before nodding, They will need all that they can to hold Seine's power back as the tomb is opened. I'll merely calm her down once she's been freed. Funny how he made it sound so easy isn't it...

Ranier nodded once, Pity Profius is away. Damned elemental never around when I need him. He rumbled.
Jack was finally able to walk, his senses were all haywire, though, it'd take some more time for him to be able to move fluidly let alone lock on Tara's location, "I'm going to feel this in the morning...." He rumbled tiredly.
Merlin looked at Aurora, dancing about like a girl who's been informed she's gotten a pony for her birthday. Lotan should be able to keep her out of trouble, keep her from adding to the disorder An'ari was going to cause. This whole situation was spiraling out of hand. She was afraid she'd have to take out her machete soon though she'd been loathing to do so, "Calm yourself." She said to Tien and touched his shoulder, "He'll sense your fear, even from this distance." She murmered.
Magnolia nodded and left Dorien with Ranier to join the group that would be venturing into Seine's tomb.
Obsidian, for one, was a bit glad that Profius wasn't around, he'd be ecstatic there were so many new females to harass.

"Fear? Hardly," Tien said quietly, "But hatred...always." he never told anyone about how much he truly hated An'ari. And he too stubborn to let out now, but he'd do anything to have that b*****d killed. For his mother's sake...

Dorien watched her go before walking next to Ranier, He'll come for his daughter somehow, we both know this. Be sure to watch for everything..even your own men." he said calmly. And Kanna's body itself if the man has grown bold enough to manipulate her.

Merlin's expression remained neutral, "If he does come for you. I will do my utmost to keep him from you." A hint of a smile passed behind her eyes, "Yet, my ego is not large enough to boast I will succeed." She added.
Ranier frowned, He always was hassle to deal with. That was an understatement.
Aster turned about watching each stage of Kanna, one at a time before slowly approaching the huge lotus, Are you hiding in there, Lady Kanna? He didn't expect an answer but he'd heard that many gardners spoke to their flowers, You can't stay in there forever. He commented then moved away towards the young version of Kanna, still whimpering because of her cut finger. He knew they weren't real but, at one time they were. He knelt beside her and offered a kerchief, Wrap it in this. It'll stop the bleeding.

Dorien nodded, frowning before saying, And now he is more powerful. I don't tink it's because of the Sulla Way.

Troden came in a little later and placed the book infront of An'ari, a serious look on his face, "What does this book have to deal with your plans?"
"What else can it be?" An'ari answered as he flipped through the book, stopping at Dorien's page, "I'm going to say hello to one of the Ten..."
Troden and Tara jsut stared at him, "But Father..." he began.
"I know in my current condition, my body isn't perfect, but that doesn't mean I am helpless either. I show him what happens whne you mess with my family." Two siblings had to step away from An'ari as a flare of power took over him for only a few moments before fading away.
"Now I have a question for you both..where is Tien?"
Tien nodded, smiling slightly. He was atleast grateful for those words of kindness. He was sure that Aurora would toss him into the man's arms just to add the chaos. And she wouldn't blame her in the least.
The young Kanna sniffled slightly, looking at Aster and then the kerchief, "T-thank you..whoever you are." she murmured, smiling lightly, "But I can't take it. I have to be able to take pain like Papa and Dorien-sensei...If I was caught crying.." she stopped and looked around quickly, "Please don't tell them!" she pleaded.
The older Kanna, slowly stopped and looked at them both curiously, one of the fans covering the lower part of her face.

Aster smiled warmly to her, Of course, not. It'll be our secret. He winked, There is absolutely nothing wrong with shedding tears, my dear. It is simply a reaction to pain or a well of emotions. Did you know that some even cry when they are happy?
The man is a leech. Ranier replied, He probably stole some energy for himself.

The young Kanna's eyes widened slightly before shaking her head, "Papa says to cry means death. Dorien-sensei say crying is weakness... I'm confused!" she wailed.
The older Kanna tilted her head before raising her free bladed fan.

Aster shook his head, Heaven forbid, I ever do such a think to you! Use this for your hand, then. I'm sure they don't condemn patching up wounds do they? From the corner of his eye, he'd been watching the older Kanna.

Dorien thought it over, thining it made sense before looking back at the group, He only became that way when he sacrificed his body for the Sulla Way.. he said, remembering the fateful day Kanna told him of the spell...right before he went into his slumber.
