((Well Gaara doesn't shoot sand at people to play around, so Tai doesn't send darkness at people for anything else but an attack.))

Once the darkness had engulfed Jack of Blades, constricting his movements, Tai began to speak.

"It could," he said, winking at Yasuyama, knowing that Jack didn't see it, since Tai was behind him, "But you'd have to appologize to this man and come with me."

"I will, on one condition." Jack's dark red aura surrounded him and he bursted out of Tai's dark grip. "Just because you're powerful, doesn't mean your more powerful then everyone else. I will leave this man alone for the sake of your offer." Jack went over and grabbed his arm and placed it back into his shoulder socket. "I'm sorry hero...That I didnt finish you. There happy? Now whats this offer?"

"Fine...But if this beter not be a trap." Jack followed as he twisted his arm into is socket all the way.

As they reached Tai's room, he opened the door and knelt by his bed. Reaching under the bed, he pulled out a box that was rattling violently, and glowed with an extremely evil, black aura, souls of those it had conquered floating around it as glowing green orbs. As he undid the chains that kept the contents from escaping, Tai opened the lid and reached in the box. He pulled out a mask of bone like texture, with teeth showing and red markings along the sides and over the eye slits.

"This," he said, "Was, is, the power I had to give up in order to serve Princess Sakura."

"Because," he said, letting go of the mask, "The mask itself isn't what I want you to see."

The mask floated in place for a short while before rising to the height that Tai would be if he stood. Behind the mask, a spiritual form of the old Tai formed, its evil pressence solidifiying by collecting the souls that floated around it, along with those that resided in the skull collection. The thing stood beside Tai, as they both looked at Jack.

"This power could be yours for a time," he said, "If I could ask for a small favor in return."

Tai grinned evilly.

"Once you have completed your tasks, using this power, you will increase my power by ten fold, using yours, only, permanently," he said.

The masked formation reached its hand out as a sign of agreement.

"Should you accept, you will be bound to your word," he said, "but I no longer have the power to ensure that, which is why he will be the one closing the deal."

"You did indeed mistake it, my friend," he said, "You will stay as you are, but you will increase my power by ten fold, the mask will be placed back in the box when you are done with whatever it is you want to do."

Tai stood an crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for the man's response.

"Your loss my friend, for I'm afraid you will never be freed."

He reached a hand out underneath the masked figure, and it disappeared, the mask itself dropping into his hand.
