I played with my dolls briefly today. :3 I've been too frustrated lately to do much but I changed clothes and wigs and fiddled for a bit before I got too fidgety.

Yeah I play with them alot less since Neil got back, but before that I was playing with them alot more. :3 I love my dollies. <3

3nodding i gots her glasses from dollectable. jaimie rist on ebay was selling them. they came painted half black and grey. i'm very happy with how the tattoos came out. i posted a lot more of the photos on doa, in the picture request for tattoos. whee

neither of my girls wants to be tattooed.. but those are still cool. xD larxene (my e-an) is horribly depressed and i haven't been able to cheer her up for days. she's been snuggling a sneasel plush and moping for a day or so now.. any ideas on helping her feel normal again? nothing i've done has worked so far. edit: also, she wants to go blonde. i was thinking DW-33 For Delf (Blond) for everyday wear. i'd trim it a bit shorter though.. and DW-124 For Delf (Blond) for special occasions. what do you think?

Poor Larxene. :[ I like both of those wigs, and they look sturdy. The first for everyday wear may get hard to take care of because of the mild curls, but if you're up for it, go for it.
Ro has been really depressed lately too. He's worried I don't love his Dream of Doll shell anymore. I do, I just hate the dollmore body that he's on at the moment. I wouldn't mind upgrading him to the newest Dream of Doll body. In the mean time I'm just trying to play with him and reassure him. I will probably strip his face and re-do it again soon.

bea's current wig is curly. it frizzes when it gets too dry, but it's super easy to smooth it down again. just misting it lightly with water every month or two is fine. since it's one i ordered from luts, i figure these'll be the same.
i took larxene with me and moose to the movie, and that helped a little, but as soon as we got home she went back to moping. X.x
my kids all like the bodies they're on, but the DoC boy body with the thigh joints like bea has is niiice. larxene wouldn't mind having thigh joints.. it's not an end-of-the-world kinda thing though.

Well if the current wig is a Luts one and you know how to deal with it, it shouldn't be so bad. :3 Volks makes a conditioning spray that can work wonders on a frizzy wig too.
And yeah the thighjoint looks nice but I'm more excited about the doubjointed arms, and the more posable legs and torso. Are the hands pretty posable? I'd love it if Ro could still touch his face.

i'd say yeah, they're pretty nice. i have nothing to compare them to, but the range is nearly human.

Well you remember how Ro's old hands couldn't move much at all? Yeah. The body he's on now has nicely posable arms but the rest of it is utter s**t. The torso flops no matter now tightly or loosely it's strung. The legs are always popping out of joint and turning around, and he can't stand very well because the thighs are built awkwardly. >:[
At this point I'd be happy to just stick him on his old body, but I sold it to buy his new one.

well all my kids are very sturdy, but capable of posing. they still have their original stringing too. the only torso flops are generally actually un-slouching. wrists have really good rotation, the girls both have double-jointed elbows. it's all around great. i'll take some posing pics tonight if you want.
