Ed looked at the both of them. "I'm going back to Phoenix. I'll call you if I find anything. If I don't leave now, I'm afraid I might kill one of you....or both of you."

"Sounds good to me." He zipped his bag back up, buckled it, and got off the ground. "But sadly, escaping my bickering won't be so easy. I too am headed to Phoenix." He hoisted the bag onto his shoulders. "Dont wanna waste energy getting there when s**t goes down."

Erica looked curiously at Xeen, shrugged her shoulders and decided to go do something worthwhile rather than just standing there. She waved over to Blitz. "Going to Phoenix? I'm coming with!"

As they were leaving the war shelter, Erica and Blitz were each handed a flier/invitation to the masquerade party. The name of the hostess was simply stated as, "The Queen of Hearts," being the hostess didn't want anyone placing the party as a function associated with the AA...and for the most part keep her involvement hidden. Food was guaranteed to be available, along with drink and entertainment, and for those who could not find their own mask, a basic mask would be handed out free of charge. Date or groups of anykind were discouraged, the ideal desire being that no one would know who anyone else was, or at least not right away. (massive creative dressup is always encouraged).

((...HEY! gonk ED was there at the time and Drake didnt know really that ED was Ora's assassin. Under other circumstances, Drake would to this day, have a vendetta against whats his face with the bat. 3nodding Besides...one can lose sense of mind, moral, and sanity in the event of a lossed family memeber....so take that! xp ))

(lol true enough, but they'd met Ed earlier, and would have known anyway that it wasn't her. The whole "master" talk also added to the case.)
