Kei shrugged. "It's nothing special, really. It takes a lot of work and practice to get one right, but the results are worth it. If you train enough, you should be able to come up with one of your own. I'm sure there are things you can do that I can't."

Mai-lin shook her head and sighed. "It is special! Not everyone can make up their own jutsus. I won't ever. I'm not even that good at the ones someone else made up." She said as she started walking again. She pointed to te remains of the appartment that -she- had burned down and pinted. "That's what I did yseterday. I didn't mean to though..."

She nodded her head in agreement, "I'll say.It's much easier to wash out."
Anekio gave him a look, but nodded. "Don't worry. If that's what you feel is best for now." She whispered.

"If you believe that you can't do somthing, then you won't be able to do it. You have to believe in yourself and keep practicing and you'll get it. I'm a close to mid-range fighter so I'll help you practice your jutsus." Kei said then looked in the direction Mai-lin was pointing, eyes going wide. "You did that? What were you doing?"
Tori looked over her shoulder and noticed the other two talking quietly. "Did I miss something? Are you two going out now or are you just keeping secrets?"
Yuhi smiled. I wish we were going out. "Neither actually."

"When have I been known to go out with a kid?" Anekio smiled, "Besides, I just wanted to know stuff about Kei." Let's just hope she doesn't catch onto that lie any time soon.

"Oh. Well, just hope he isn't like his brother or you'll have another one with a crush on you." Tori started laughing at the look on Yuhis face.
"I do not have a crush! Crushes are for kids and I'm not a kid." Yuhi looked at Anekio again when he said the last part. "Age shouldn't matter anyway. If you like them, you like them and there's nothing you can do about it." He looked away with a sigh.

Anekio laughed at Tori's comment, "I'm pretty sure he'll learn how to fall for children his own age, or else I'll become the ***** and Yuhi will be out of a second job." She smiled at him, patting his back. "Lighten up. We just like to have our fun. You get to dance with girls on a daily basis."

Yuhi rolled his eyes. "I'm so happy that I can be your entertainment. Guess that's the only thing I'm really good for." he finally looked away from her and picked up his pace. "So, do we have any plans so far for tomorrow? I've been trying to figure out where the leader originated from, but I don't have much information to go by."

Anekio sighed. So touchy... "I don't have too much information myself. All I knew I pretty much told you or forgot. I wasn't really expecting a whole mission to come out of this." She looked over at Tori, "Do you have any new information than what we last heard?"

Tori shook her head. "No. I only know that they were rogue shinobi from various villages. Before I head back home for the night, I'll send Fuki out to scout around for any traces of the rogues. At least that way we should know which direction to start looking in."

"Sounds good." Anekio nodded, fighting back a yawn. "So we'll meet up around six and by then Fuki can tel us which way to go. That'll save time."

Mai-lin laughed sheepishly. "I met Ran and got so upset that sometime while I was making myself something to eat...I cried myself to sleep. I don't wake up to the smell of smoke so it was too late to stop the fire once I did wake up. Which was only after Ran saved me." She rolled her eyes at herself. "So now we have a new place, this time sharing a room, and a bed."

"I should have had her scouting the area after the battle, but I was too worried about the kids and didn't think of it." Tori said, then gave a wave. "I'll go send her off now then get to bed. I'll see you two tomorrow."
"So is Ran letting you share her room with her until you find another room? It must be pretty crowded in there." Kei frowned then. "Why is it that the smell of smoke doesn't wake you up? You senses are supposed to be a bit stronger than normal people."

"The Hokage is making us share a room." Even though she had starteed to gorw to like the oter girl she still heaved a sigh from sharing a room with her. "And I grew up with the smell of smoke. Since dad was always away on missions or locked in his room we didn't really have anyone to make breakfast and Nii-san couldn't cook to save his life. I liked to sleep in when it was warm out and so I had to learn to sleep with the smell of smoke." She paused, a small frown on her face. "And when something reminds me of Nii-san when I asleep I don't...well, I forget that he's dead." She looked away from Kei and started walking again.
