Perhaps you already know what's coming then.
You realize that the king's castle is the one directly in front of you. You can't be sure, but you have a strong hunch that the pixie and catfolk are both here for the mercenarie job as well.

As you cross the drawbridge, you see an enormous courtyard filled with exotic plants. Very few of the plants here should be alive, let alone thriving as they are. There is no doubt magic in this area. At the far end of the courtyard is a single wooden double door with two guards flanking it. They both have ranseurs in their hands which they have crossed to bar entry to the castle.

Risili stands straight up, and pulled his hood off of his hood, reveling what they thought to be hair, but turns out to be feathers instead, and Risili pulls his cloak to the side, so that his massive wings may spread "You dare make a mockery of a Raptorians pride!" ((he growls as he looks at the guards with his bird-like, Raptorian gaze, as if an owl looking for a tasty treat, gripping a mouse in dead middle of the night)) "I have neither the time...nor patience for you nuicances...let me through"

That's a big mistake. I originally intended for you to figure this out sooner, but Random Hamlet is incredibly racist.
The guards both uncross their spears and point them towards you.
"Get out of here now," says the same guard as before, "the king doesn't need your kind. This town doesn't need your kind, and as far as I'm concerned this whole planet would be better off without your kind. If you don't leave here now, I'll have no choice but to use lethal force."
