Kurezi
Hello everyone! :]
I don't quite know where to put this...but can someone correct this for me?
It's a post in a Japanese blog I've made and I know it's riddled with errors. xD
カリフォルニアに火災を死にます。煙も死にますよ。o(^▽^)o
私はとても嬉です。 部屋の窓をあけました。今はあついじゃありませんから。
It's supposed to say:
"Fires are dying in California. The smoke is dying too.
I am very happy! I opened my window. Now it's not hot."
I know how it feels to want to say something, but because you don't have a big vocabulary in the language, you have to say it with what you know (I experience this nearly daily being here).
カリフォルニアで火災を消えています。 煙も消えています。
私はとても嬉しいです。 部屋の窓をあげました。今暑くなくなりました。 Perhaps (涼しくなりました would sound more natural, but I didn't want to change the meaning of what you wrote too much. That would make it "it has now become cool")
Stuff I added:
I changed に to で because whenever you have an action taking place (or using the Te-form plus iru) somewhere, it usually is で.
You forgot しい after 嬉しい
To snuff out, or extinguish is 消える (kieru)
The form of an I-Adjective -i +ku + naru is "something becomes something"
for instance:
友達を帰ったあとで、ぼくはさびしくなりました。
After my friend returned home, I became lonely.
Na-Adjectives with the Adjective+Naru form is as simple as:
Na-Adjective + Ni + Naru
