"And I thought the pure blood would be more interesting..." She said as she slipped through the shadow behind Meeya, as if using it as a portal. It was a wonder there weren't very many lights in the halls of this castle. Tenjou placed a hand on his shoulder, the other ran a finger along his jawbone. "A quite clever power you have there..." The youkai lady whispered softly.

A slender hand lightly touched pale azure bangs before gently brushing through them. A smile touching pale lips. "Can you feel them, Riwa-sama? Or, at least... him."
There was a movement so light that one would have missed it hadn't they concentrated on the female on the bed. The other figure touching her didn't seem to be bothering, or awakening, her. It was something else causing her to react.
A cocky smile appeared on the black haired woman's face. Hair black as darkness and eyes in an exact same shade of red as blood. "Oh yes, you do... You do, Riwa-sama." The smile slowly twisted up into a smirk. "And so you wait..." There was a pause, as if she was considering what she just had said. "... and so we wait."

Meeya's black eyes widened as he felt the touch on first his shoulder, then his jaw. There was so much dark power so close now, towering up behind him. In pure reflex, a hand shot out and slapped away the hand Tenjou had trailed down his jawbone. A small bit of his own power flared in response to his panic, the youkai lady's skin bursting in small bubbles, blood spurting up like small fountains. None of the injuries large, as Meeya was more intent on getting away than causing any damage.

"Meeya!" Kanak shouted angrily. "Don't remain close to her. Get away instead!" He would have liked more information, but if that was all Meeya could provide... Well, one step to knowing ifit was, was to get the flailing idiot over here and tell him.

Tenjou smirked as a few streams of her own blood trickled down her arm. The wounds were instantly gone, just a natural way her body reacted to injury and she laughed almost maliciously. "As I said. An clever little power you have there." She couldn't help but to lick the blood from her fingers. "Pity though... It was my own blood that was shed first... Now that isn't fair." Her voice got low and two large, black single claw-like talons((Her wings, she hide the skin that allows her to fly and is using the bone like frame as claws)) came out from her back, stabbing them into Meeya's shoulders.

Stumbling forward with a cry from the talons stabbing into his shoulder, Meeya fell down on his knees, then got up again and ran away from where Tenjou had been, towards Kanak. The floor where he'd collapsed for a moment were cracked and looked curiously older than the rest of the stone. "S-sorry. I really should react faster." Scowling at himself, Meeya turned around beside Kanak to face Tenjou again, the wounds on his shoulder partly healed. While he couldn't heal anything else, just inflict wounds, he could heal himself. Which he was really glad over right now.

Kanak said nothing to the Spirit Tribe member, just gave a small, quick nod. "You sure you can't give me a more detailed description of where Micoi is?" He asked in a very low voice, moving his lips only slightly. "The sooner we get this done the better. I'm sure you agree."

She brought the talon-like end of her wing near, licking the blood from the end. "Delicious." She mumbled to herself. Her ears caught jist of every word the youkai said and she took a couple steps back towards the shadows. "But my friends.. You just got here..." Her voice echoed in the dreary hallway, her body half engulfed in shadows. Her eyes were shimmering a full on green now. "While I enjoyed your faerie friends taste. It was too bitter, too tainted for my likings, so He will have to go, but I still have yet to sample the rest, and I think the Dragon Knight will be my favorite since any draco-relative must have sweet vital...." The youkai lady purred before slipping into the darkness of the shadows.

((XD So that Sujika doesn't have to attempt necromancy again.))
The salt air was sharp on the light wind, breathing about Aiketh's face and shining eyes. She was standing on the wide wooden dock, the roughly hewn boards beneath her feet scuffing her smooth black boots, and the long hems of her pants dusted with sand. There was a large ship waiting at the end of the planks, drifting lightly on the languidly rolling waves.
A rare grin was washed across her face as she stared out at the undulating waves, watching the rise and fall of the far crests of white.
The sun was nearing the distant horizon and a sigh escaped her parted lips at that realization. The West.
She turned, her dark hair flashing about her face in the breeze and sudden movement, and spoke.
"The boat is ready, Lord."

"Why did it have to be a boat....?"Celia was starting to reconsider her past resolution to try and be more bold. The idea of being on the boat with everyone, in rather close quarters for a while was making her rather nervous....But, it was after all, her duty as a knight to go with the Dragon Lord....And she'd finally almost gotten used to Baran....Maybe she could still be more bold on this trip.
Yoko twittered onto her shoulder, and sank his talons in. She had been trying to ditch him all morning, saying he'd be safer at the castle. This, annoyed him. If she was going to go to some far off country, she wasn't going alone.
"Ouch ouch!! Okay, I get it! The talons are unnecessarary!"said Celia, finally giving in to the small white puff's demands. The claws may have been small, but they were sharp!
At these words, Yoko seemed contented, and released his tight grip on her shoulder.

"Travel by boat is the fastest practical way to the Eastern Continent," Aiketh stated, turning to look at Celia. "There is no known land route, and it would be far too dangerous to fly. Unfair to the Dragons as well. And all our portals are unreliable."
This was true. With the lack of magic avalible, the portals would be lucky to send a small bird to Memphis, much less several adults to Arinas. The Officer furorwed her brow, inspecting the ship once more. All of what she had told the Knight regardless, she had her own doubts about its security. The Dragon Lord would be traveling on it, far from help from either her or any others. Was this really the only way?
Yes, she ran a hand over her tightly pulled back hair, it is.
Shaking her head and pulling her expression back to a tight nod, Aiketh stepped away from the sea, her boots thudding dully on the salt-and-water-stained boards.
Her head dipped in recognition of his authority, even as the teasing wind brought a brief flicker of a smile to her face. "...My Lord?"
Baran stood behind the main party, his plain shoes coated in sand. Not surprising, as he was scuffing his feet in the fine material. It looked like they still needed to load many of the things and, surprise, surprise, he figured that would end up being his job.
"Taken along as the pack horse, I suppose," he rolled his eyes, glancing curiously out to sea in spite of himself. He had never been this close to the vast waters before, and the hopeful pull of adventure was beginning to rise within him once more.
"Well," he kicked his foot under the damp sand once more, "who knows. Damnit," Baran let the word slip without attaching to it any real feeling, staring out at the slowly undulating waves.
"Who knows."

Celia spotted Baran in the back of the group, and decided it was time to try for the bold thing again. She walked over to him, and smiled a little nervously, but it was far better than she had been able to do earlier. "Hello Baran,"she said quietly. She hadn't ment to come off so timid, and didn't really notice that she had...
Untill, Yoko bit her to get her motivated.
"Ouch!! Yoko that hurt!!"she said, grabbing him off her shoulder, and flicking him. Now she just seemed like any old person: normal volume voice, no flicker of nervousness showed in her eyes. "I told you to stop that! I said you could come with, so you have to behave!"she said, as the slightly dazed little bird was placed back on her shoulder.
Yoko however, had a sort of smirkish auora to him, as if he thought his goal had been perfectly executed, even if he'd gotten flicked. He looked over at Baran, and then kind of gave a sort of satisfied nod, as if to say 'There you go, she'll be normal now.'
"He's a strange little thing...."she said to Baran, starting back down the path to shyness, but quite able to look him in the eye for now.

((*is dragged in by one foot by Nadil-chan and tied to a desk with a computer by her* D: ))
Jett was about the last person to arrive at the dock, looking haggard but determined. His sleep the night before had been very uneasy, filled with shadows that no light could penetrate. But now it was the day, and he had a mission to accomplish. The Dragon Lord looked right now like any of the other officers, having abandoned his royal garb for black and silver travelling gear. In fact, the only thing that did set him apart was the fine sterling diadem that sat on his forehead. "Good morning, everyone." A small, but genuine smile crept across his face. "Thank you, Aiketh, for your work, preparing this boat for our travels. I appreciate it very much."

Having been watching all of this, but not quite sure what to do about it, Midare now moved a bit closer to Kanak and Meeya, as if protecting them. "You're not getting -anything- of mine, if I've got anything to say about it," she replied to that last statement, raising her sword a bit and glaring.
