Rememberance Day and Veterans Day are tomorrow...
Has anyone been asked, voluntold, volunteered, forced to play the Last Post and the Reveille at thier school, town, community event, etc...?

I feel special now...My band made it to states! it may have been last week but it was only now when my vomputer wanted to work. my Band has never made to states in the schools history...wich in retro spect is sad and happy at the same time... eek i'm confusing myself

I volunteered to play at a formal military tattoo (I think that was the right word, anyway...) at the former Williams AFB. It's been closed for eight years now, I believe, but before that it was THE training school for American pilots. Now it's been taken over by the Arizona colleges. sweatdrop But anyway, yeah. We (ASU marching band) played at the ceremony, and there were two flyovers. One of a P-51 Mustang ( whee ) and one of a squad of F-16s. The only problem I had with it is that there weren't enough chairs, so I had to stand during the entire ceremony. *shrug* Life happens.
