Dawson sighed goodnaturedly at her complaint -- and then the rest of his air got slammed out of him and partially filled with sand. And then the whispers crawled into his mind as he forced himself up, sand clinging to the wet clothes and arms like a bad day at the beach. He didn't need another Mother to fear, thank you very much. Cursing under his breath, Dawson searched for America and began to run like hell her way. Something green flew from a wound in the titan, and in turn he threw himself with his shield up to try and keep it from splashing on the girl. "JEEEEEEzus CHRIIIIIST GAWD!" It was like pepper spray in the eyes times ten, all over the body, and it showed no signs of stopping. Dawson winced and flicked some of the s**t off his shield before pushing himself to his feet. "Meri, we're gonna hafta research a way t'make some bigass can a'Raid after this." DAWSON HP: 26 (-2 per turn unless healed/defended for 5) INTERMEDIATE MOON BONUS: quote 2 ppl/self for no dmg next roll; 1 used Quote: 9. Your legs begin to sting, wait - since when was the sand green. It is acid, oozing from the titan, and it begins to rapidly corrode your Fear shield. -2 damage a turn, only cured if someone HEALS OR DEFENDS YOU with any heal ability for 5 damage (or if you do so to yourself). lizbot using 1 protect on her for next turn!

Something wrapped around his leg; Merric gave a shout of surprise, kicking out, a centipede curling up his leg, dragging him lower.

He had been spacing in and out trying to find a way to stay alive.... he looked beside him only to find piles of sand... where are the other hunters...?

[Zeke] It was absolute chaos again, though somehow worse than before. People were scream, everyone had scattered, running for their lives. Just trying to survive as the titan writhed and twisted around them. It was actually a little surreal. He was still terrified, still pale, but it was just so unreal looking it was hard to wrap his head around what he was seeing. As he'd been trying to work it out some random Moon medic shoved a medikit in his hands as they sprinted past. Either recognizing Zeke from the infirmary, or...who knows. Either way, he'd put it to good use. The first grounded hunter he came too was a trainee, one of the newly awakened ones. He couldn't remember the kids name, but he looked young. Crouching down, he opened the medkit and got to work wordlessly, lips set in a thin line. HP: 27 Healing Vas for: 20

Melvin 4th roll
He took deep breathes, trying to keep the sting out of his eyes as he turned about and was met with a wall of black that whipped out and threw him out. Clutching Lawr, he feel back and landed hard, his ears singing as he got up and reached for the bandages he had. Slapping them on his arm, he took Lawr back into his arms and keep moving.
HP: 25 - 13 = 12hp + 30 (bandages) = 42hp
Loose half of remaining health (-13hp)
USING RUNIC BANDAGES on himself.

Alicia's look over wasn't missed, though at the moment Artemis didn't know how to respond to it. So it was left there in the sand. When she crossed over to pat his shoulder he smiled slowly. Lips spreading thin in amusement before opening to speak, "..I'm ok, but we should probably get moving." This statement only made all the more pressing when his weapon spoke in mind shortly after. <....Something is wrong...> The sand suddenly started to go wonky, the desert started to rain down all around as a giant leg lifted from it. Up, up , up....Artemis nearly fell backwards watching the massive creature rise to life. It looked like the leg he and Aiden had ran into, only this leg was attached to an entire body! A body that was coming up fast and pretty much wrecking everything around it. Panic struck as he started sinking, the sand spinning rapidly downwards, knocking him off balance and into Alicia. Hands wrapped around the female next to him, holding on for dear life. Artemis closed his eyes trying to protect them as they crashed down, "...holy s**t." Holy s**t. HOLY s**t. What, what now?! HP: 23/40 Charge: 3/3 (carried over)

"Yes running now! Come on Abbi!" There was a giant titan of a centipede now. That was a proverbial monster of a creature, something out of nightmares, out of movies, out of even Mass Effect. Yzalin was still muted, terror filling her presence. He growled, desummoning the weapon for now, and shot off, trying to run parralell to the creature.
Pain shot through his hips and he gritted his teeth, feeling liquid roll down his outer thigh. He sprinted despite it in the direction of a very tiny trainee.

Something rolled by and Tobin, covered in sand, managed to reach it. "God damn ********... Please be a beer or something." Weakly, he opened it and sighed. His entire body ached but he pulled the bandages to himself.
Body slumped, he glanced towards the chaos. He'd been knocked so far that he was out of range, spitting more sand. I am never, ever going to to the beach again. He was becoming an hourglass inside and out, and couldn't react to anyone.

Lunaire wasn't sure what Ever did, she only caught a glimps of him helping her sister before getting up to handle his other duties. Yet, the pain in her ribs was suddenly gone.Or at least dulled. She shifted up in the sand. "Sol?" She asked curiously before crawling towards her. A medkit device falling out of bag from the earlier meeting. Even as she crawled a leg swooped down catching her coat and invoking a series of screams before realizing she could quickly untangle from it. "Hey, hey, okay maybe. Maybe this is real. Or its the matrix, which is real enough." She scrambled to activate the runic pack following the instructions and boosting her twins shield. Breathing hard, he stumbled through the sand, and again found another set of bandages. He wasn't sure who they belonged to, but dead or alive, they were his or else he and Lawr wouldn't make it out alive. That's all that mattered. That they make out alive. The world was in his arms and the more he stayed idle, the more death was certain.
He picked up the bandages and stuffed them in his pocket and gripped the coat about Lawr as he kept moving.

Lysander did feel better with the bandage and found himself able to hurriedly stand just in time to see Merric sink into the sand.
"Oh no, no none of that." he said, going against his complete aversion to physical exercise to summon his sword and make a determined attempt to stab it into the sand and hit whatever it was that was trying to harm their new acquaintance.
He went well wide of the mark, not striking anything.

Roswell joined Lysander's stroke with a somewhat disturbing ease for violence, plunging his staff down and just missing a wriggling carapace.
"Annoying," he said, but was extremely willing to try again.
For now, he was just relieved to see Lysander on his feet. "Please hang in there, Mr. Cassel." He readied the staff again, giving Lysander a brief and desperate look. "That...bandage had some effect, then?"
