The game seemed finished and Maple was unsure of how to approach Uru at this point, least have to meet an angry gaze or something that would make her heart ache. She pressed on, unsure if he was following since she never looked down. He knew, and all there was now was up to find their ending.
Maple turned her gaze, listening as the Voice pleaded and promised her granted wishes and anything she could ever want. Part of her did want to give in, so that all of it would just end... or maybe not have been made at all. But another part urged her to keep going and not give into such tricks.
She pressed forward.

Each step felt like it'd already been paid for.
B0nez wasn't lacking in reserves, he wanted to go forward. To see.
The Watch, along with the eyes, had been his idea in the first place.
He continued on, growing to hate the silence. It made him think too much. He thought about Sin dying. How Rosc was going to kill him if he ever found out. He thought about Lumi pushing him away. He thought about the pain he had seen in Belladonna's eyes, the agony in her voice. He thought about the fictional Julian's memories, wondering how he'd ever be able to live up to that. And how maybe, just maybe he might already had.
Usually he didn't mind thinking, but right now his thoughts were not something he enjoyed.

Lumikki stopped to look at the door, oh not only could she not hear she couldn't speak now. Oh well that wasn't going to harm her. She had noone but herself to speak to anyways. But it did make her whole manner change slightly. Nosing her way through the door she made no sounds even though in reality she just wanted nothing more than to cry. More stairs.

She wasn't even thinking any longer, just climbing. Climbing because something within her wouldn't allow herself to stop.
And then, suddenly, there wasn't another step waiting for her foot. She stumbled forward.

The small rest at the door must have helped because these steps seemed a little closer together. Even though she couldn't talk or hear she did notice that she could thinking on things very clearly at least. The voice was crazy, she wanted nothing more than to wake up but at the same time she wondered if the mirror telling her those things...maybe that bird had been told the same thing. Or maybe he got told something different. But then there was Roch...

To try and get his mind off of things, Julian searched his head for a song. It didn't matter if his voice and ears didn't work, he didn't like singing for others anyways. The only times that had ever happened were when he was little and Mum had asked him to and when Cora had dragged him into that stupid competition. Think of a song...

It wasn't the same thinking about Roch, sure she had alot to tell him, like she didn't like when he ran off. Or when he died after she told him not to. But her mind kept going back to that bird. He seemed to confident that he knew her.

My kingdom...my king...my friends...I...I must keep them safe. Lost...yes lost was a good word for what she was feeling right now. Even though she knew she was on the right path being able to scent both the commander and Roch she was still lost. The voice it called her a fragment...so the mirror was right. She wasn't real...that bird...was he real then? What was she to him.
