Cookie Pixie @IUS: I made the entry fee small because it was a new game; nobody's going to commit to a 1k gold game they've never played before. Oh, of course. I understand that completely. However, considering that it was such an amazing success the first time around, why not make it a bigger reward for the winners next time? Edit: And more players! mrgreen

I don't think you realise... Stick with cannibals. :3
Also...try not to make the fee too high. >.< Because I don't have much gold, but I love this game so much that I'll probably pay whatever you want me to, and be even more poor. xD ...that you're breaking my heart.

I thought the number of people was perfect, personally.

Joyfully Subversive I thought the number of people was perfect, personally. Oh, I quite agree. However, more players = larger pot with the same fee. That and it's always fun to have more cannibals. ninja

Meiloyn said again, "I liked the game! You should do it again! Let's stick with the cannibals theme."
"Cannibals? I hope you're not a cannibal!" Ming said.
"No, I'm not a cannibal. In my previous life I crashed on an uncharted pacific island with a number of survivors, but some of them became cannibals."
"Yikes."
"I was eaten, unfortunately." Meiloyn said.

Next game: Another player will be running the next game. I was hoping to hold one over March Break, but I have two essays and four unit plans due at the end of the month. I'd consider letting other people run in the event that, you know, I have a real life. I'd like to talk to them first, however.

Game size: The problem with more players is that you run a higher chance of having 'dead' players - players that simply don't participate. One player was alive for a good portion of the game, but I can't remember if she sent me any votes.
I had to put in rules to keep the game moving in case of a dead player. Yes, more players would be awesome. But keep in mind that I have to make sure that there will be two dozen players interested in joining in the first place. Two dozen active players.

How do you guys think about having two simultaneous games? You don't have to participate in both, but...thoughts?

I don't think you realise... Sounds like a good idea, if we could, as you said, find two dozen active players. ...that you're breaking my heart.

Cookie Pixie How do you guys think about having two simultaneous games? You don't have to participate in both, but...thoughts? "Are you sure you could do it?" Meiloyn asked. Ming on the other hand, did not bother to participate becaue she had no idea what was going on. :Before we play again, could I have my body restored? I'm already starting to like this girl, so I think I'll give her body back."

Right, Tig's got my permission to start the next game; go spam her with PMs begging to be a cannibal. mrgreen
I'll save this thread on the main game thread for posterity. Aw.
