She was getting tired of this stupid game her turtle seemed to be playing with her.She wanted to hurry and finish this class, and pass. They finally got past the rutt that seemed to keep making them go backwards, and Mercy was glad for it. Now they could get closer to the test dummy.

She pretty much just kept her hand on the reins of the saddle, letting Tortie do whatever it wanted to get them closer to the dummy. And it seemed to work, but all this waiting made her let go some of her charged fear.

Amarus was prepared for battle, on her trusty wolf! Well, she would like to think they were fierce more than trusty, but whichever. The wolf itself was well-attuned to Amarus by this point, given her experience with it in the jungle, but she was not exactly the king of jousting: her weapon was giving her immense amounts of trouble. Amarus didn't even fight with weapons; her FEAR meant that she used her own essence to stun, and then it was all bare-fist combat from then on. Her punches packed a surprising amount of power, given she was a ghost and all. Or at least, the notion occasionally struck her as weird.
Still, the wolf was able to progress, it was Amarus herself who was having issues steadying so that they could charge an attack.

She was starting to get bored with having a turtle mount that didnt want to listen to her. But, she could only enchant the saddle she was in, not the turtle. She hoped that by letting her turtle have the reigns shed at least go a little farther.

They were so close to the dummy now. She let out the charged fear she was holding into the dummy. She was able to successfully attack and throw her fear at the dummy, and thus they were done for the day.
