Of course, it's not just this village, most of the villages are completely empty. I'm pretty sure we need to somehow manage to get more people in. But at the same time, I think it's probably because of how much it takes to post and train to get anywhere...

4000 words minimum for training is quite a lot. Not bad for a seven page essay mind you, but it's quite a bit to expect to get people involved. I know it's part of the reason I haven't really posted much. All I do is write for college, and I don't really feel like writing more essays just to Rp, when I can RP easier other places...

Maybe that's just my take on it anyway. But it feels like somewhere around August-October, everywhere just went completely dead. And not in the sense that school hit it, since school hits different people at different times... it feels more like everyone just kind of jumped ship suddenly. crying

Edit: I did a bit more thinking, and wondered if it would be better to just halve the amount of words needed. 200x10 = 2000, and then just give more exp for higher word counts.

I went back and looked at one of my papers I was writing for class, which was about 6,000 words. 4,000 words, single spaced, was 8 pages. Basically, at this point, we require people to write at minimum of 8 pages of text for a single training session. That's a bit too much in my mind. Again, 8 pages minimum, that assumes that they succeeded on every post.

Well, failed my French final. Probably going to fail that class.

Oh well, that wasn't unexpected. I hate other languages. Not that they aren't interesting, I just hate being forced to pretend to learn them when I have no interest in doing so and I positively suck at trying to think in another language. I have enough problems thinking in this language.

Anyway, one more final in two hours that I can pass in my sleep, and I'll be done with this semester. Thank the gods.

So how about those finals? That's what kids are doing these days right? Finals?

But really, this was kind of a humbling semester for me. Not that I did bad, but I certainly could have done better if not for apathy. I know my New Year's resolution... At any rate I've gotten the hardest math course I'll need to take (according to quite a few people farther along in my major) out of the way, so that's nice I suppose.

At my last college I was on the quarter system. First quarter ends sometime around thanksgiving right? If my math is correct then winter quarter for you ends in February?
