An unknown power could be felt drawing closer and closer to Janus, Hakkai, and Yoko. Although the three of them were within a barrier designed to keep demons out, they would soon come to find out that barriers were nothing to the approaching entity. A beam of black energy would connect with the barrier and easily break through it and continue on its path towards Yoko. From the point of contact the black energy would spread outwards consuming the rest of the barrier like a plague. Any who had seen this energy before would quickly recognize the most destructive energy in existence, chaos energy. Chaos energy breaks apart all that it touches on a molecular level, ripping it apart and then consuming it. There wasn't a single thing power that could stand against the raw destructive power of chaos energy. A figure cloaked in all black would land in the forest, his back to Yoko, the yellow eyes of his mask looking towards Hakkai. No distinguishing features could be made out of this being, on his overwhelming power and a few stray red hairs sticking out from under his hood. Slowly his left hand would rise up and his hand would open, palm facing up. ”I think you know what I have come here after, and you would be wise to hand it over.” As the mysterious figure spoke he would bring his right arm up and reveal an old and well used shield. The shield and the sash would both begin to glow with an ominous light as the figure took a step towards Janus and Hakkai. ”As you can see I’ve come to add your Virtue to my collection.” Just who was this mysterious cloaked figure, and how had he come to possess one of the Virtues!? He doubted any from his party could use such a destructive energy, and it was clear that it didn’t come from Yoko or Rihan. So just who had fired off a beam of chaos energy? The answer was soon made clear as a cloaked figure whose power seemed to be even greater that Lord Oni. Who was this mysterious being and why were they after the Virtue?! An even better question was how did they already possess one?! If I remember correctly the shield was placed somewhere on Earth under guard from both sides. So how did he beat two guardians? Is this the being that freed the Sins?
With the appearance of someone as powerful as this Hakkai’s strange words now made sense to him. He felt this being coming before he could. In one quick motion Janus would grab the sash off of Hakkai’s face and take up a defensive stance behind him. ”You're not thinking of doing what I think you are, are you?” He had what they had come for, but why would Hakkai give it to him? It didn’t make sense to him. He understood that there was no chance of defeating this new enemy so why wouldn’t Cho just retreat with him? Why wouldn’t he just return to Ragnarok with him and serve under Lord Oni? Janus would quickly turn away from his old friend and take a step away from him. ”I understand now. Die well friend. And if possible take the two pests with you.” With one scream the water under the feet of everyone in the forest would erupt upwards. When the water fell back to the ground Janus would be gone. Even though Janus was no longer in the forest his voice could still be heard echoing through the forest. ”Kira, Roy fight or flee I care not. I am returning to Lord Oni. I hope to see the two of you back at Mjollnir soon.” Were these his last words to Kira and Roy? Did he not expect the two of them to make it out of the forest alive? All that was certain was that Janus was gone and he knew that he was going to lose a friend today.

Kira and roy were to face off with rihan, kira himself was glad that was the case he wanted to throw down with him since the srart to begin with, and taking a step the fiery aura would being fiercer, his excitement increasing. But, after taking a step the expression would change to fear, not from the other one or rihan, or janus for that matter, but from a being that changed the whole game.
Turning quickly towards the direction of the power of the new foe, the aura would vanish and kira would begin to shake, for the first time in a long time he had never felt such a high level of energy before, even for his oni's and lucas' standards. Was this the true enemy? Whatever the case, kira would rockethis left fist to his face to snap him out of it.
Turning to roy, he resumed his normal self, but something changed, kira's eyes were yellow. And shortly after he heard janus' voice, once he explained, he gotten the virtue, he would stare at roy then rihan. "as much as I wanna fight, that's a losing bet, we can't afford to lose anymore man power, let's get out of here roy, now!" kira would hop in the air as his left hand aimed downwards, and he would shape his wind board again, and it would ignite into flames, roy was able to keep up, but since kira steped up his own powers, he would be even faster then before.
Surfing the wind out, he would head towards town, confidence that roy can keep up, if not kira had ways of assisting him. Whatever this thing was, kira wanted no part of him, not till they are in a better battlefield, but wondering, would this thing follow them to town? Hopefully not, but what if it did? Kira didn't have time to figure it out, but the mission was complete, they got the virtue, surviving is the next step, but he wouldn't forget jades rihans and this new enemys scent, no more sneaking up on his group anymore.
Kira hoped lucas, raven, wyndom, and the others were fairing better then they were.

Devil-Steel I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION Yoko simply watched the barrier vanish and simply ignored Cho's little remark. He was right Anarchy has no structure....no conformity.....just like Yoko. She didn't care if Heaven or Hell fell they were nothing more than walls of structure to her.It seemed there was a new player in this game for to Yoko the Virtues held no significance to her.She held out her hand and deflected the chaos energy with a combination of demon and spiritual energy. The water from Janus was blocked by her own aura so her position never changed. She studied the newcomer closely.....his energy.....she wouldn't forget as well as the Virtues he carried. If he appeared in any world with them she would find him.She noticed Rihans orbs and watched massive amounts of steam fill the forest as the came into contact with the water
Rihan: So be it Roy I'll prove it.I refuse to come here leaving with nothing.I'm getting a virtue.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rihan vanished and under the cover of steam and his own power nothing stopped him from appearing in front of Cho and walking up to the new comer.Yoko.....and possibly Cho would watched him take the shield and make sure the Artifact was real befor ,vanishing and appearing with Yoko in front of Roy.This only took a matter of seconds due to the spread of his power in the forest. He smiled at Roy and held up the shield Rihan hadn't yet finished. He walked to a tree behind the group and placed a hand on his sword. He made a horizontal cut causing a dark crescent shaped energy to open a portal. He knew if anyone Roy would know the technique he used.It was the Meidō Zangetsuha (冥道斬月波, Dark Path Slashing Moon Wave). It was a technique that could not be copied or mistaken. It could open a portal to hell itself and was only entrusted to one the Leaders of Hell trusted. Rihan smiled as he,and Yoko ,were sucked inside and sent directly to the Hell city of Ragnorok. Leaving the cloaked behind with Cho and Roy with no immediate way to follow them. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OCC:Cheap move Devil! I was all ready to fight.

⌠ Lord Tathian Vanguard of the Legion of Nazareth ⌡ As the woman indicated her readiness to join in the expedition, Arc continued penning the final message to the legion. Finishing the letter he sealed it in a message tube along with the other messages and requisition forms. At this point he reached over to archaic leather bound journal resonating with eldritch energy, the letters on the cover seeming to glow ever so slightly, a change which had occurred only since he had begun penning out his new needs. Tathian sighed and flipped open the book, to read what was written there in. His eyes glided across the pages reading and taking in the words on the page. As he read his lips pursed and his eyes tightened as of one reading uncomfortable news or something distasteful. Lord Tathian of the Legion, commander of the legion vanguard, your presence is requested by the legions council. The matter is of pressing importance and should be considered an order from the highest post which supersedes all present activities. This message is penned by the hand of the arch mage Mazrian, and is passed as from one brother to another. An official summons by the council, delivered by one of the legionnaires closest friends could only mean dire trouble of one sort or another. It also meant that his present plans would have to wait a fact which was in part disappointing. Still it was best to be honest with his new employee about the nature of and cause for his sudden need to depart. His green eyes shifted to her as he lifted his pen to the paper and willed his own personal magics into the ink at its tip. Understood my dear friend, I will join you as soon as possible in Nazria. His response was short and brief indicating no need to question the letter or its Authenticity. That done he organized his thoughts and began to set in line what he would need to tell the woman across from him. ”Unfortunately, my planned expedition is going to have to wait, a matter of great urgency has arisen on my home plane. Something has happened to one of the legions lords and my presence is required by the council in order to deal with this event. I will pen you a message which will show up in that journal when I can return to this realm. Allow me to escort you back to your home plane?”

Yosuzume had taken a few moments to check in on her sibling via her remote viewing ability. If Tahian looked at her he'd see the lines in her eyes shift and notice slight images flickering in them. After a few moments Yosuzume's eyes returned to normal. She could see whatever the news that Tathian received must be important so she wouldn't pry.She had business elsewhere as well it seemed. " I understand Lord Tahian. It seems elder sibling has need of me,so it's no trouble at all.I hope to receive your message soon.Im happy to be employed in your service and look forward to our next meeting. If I could ask;that is if it is within your powers to do so,that you send me to Hells domain. She made sure everything the Lord had given her was accounted for before neatly packing it into the pouch at her waist. She stood and bowed in respect and waited to be transported. (Mind sending her to Ragnorok instead of Heaven?)

Roy was prepared to fight along side Kira. As much as he didn't recommend it. As Roy was listening to what Rihan had to say, a massive amount of energy could be sensed. Roy's eyes widen as he looked up just in time to see the chaos beam collide with the barrier, proving it's power over it. Roy instantly was taken back, he couldn't believe it. But he did, with his own two eyes he saw the very thing he hoped no one would use ever again. A chaos beam. The power level he was feeling from the figure was impressive and more than enough to go toe to toe with either of the Leader of Heaven and Hell.
"Father?" he said, taking careful steps back. He even ignored what Kira was saying. "It can't be....it's not....they imprisoned you." Roy turned to see Kira take off, he was quick to follow. Roy blasted off the ground igniting his flames before throwing himself off in Kira's direction to catch up. "KIRA WE MUST INFORM ONI AT ONCE!!" he yelled passing Kira. It seemed Roy had a history with the cloaked figure or was he mistaking it for someone else? Either way, the figure used a technique that could easily be recognized as his father's signature move. If it was used, there were only a few who had mastered the technique. Hopefully Oni would know. Roy had hoped it wasn't his father.
Father or not, the figured made his move and didn't seem like he was there to play games. Roy figured Kira would catch up easily once they were far far far away from the scene. "Kira, who was that? I must know. Please tell me you recognize that energy he used." he asked. Roy had been away for a long time, hopefully Kira would be able to shrine some light on who the figure was. But Roy stilled feared the once. Because among the people who mastered the technique was Morik, Zarrius, his father and another member of Cruxis, who's name Roy couldn't remember.

As the sash was ripped away from his face Cho, he could feel the reaper come upon him. Gathering his whits before he faced certain doom. He was not concerned with anyone else, but he wanted a moment with his forest. "I have been here a long time, and we have grown so much. The life that lives in this forest proves life has power." He would advance towards the cloaked figure, "Now we shall show what happens to people when they enter our sacred forest." With those words the forest roared with agreement.
Now in a charge he would gather all of his strength for one strike because he wanted to go out swinging. With his orbs right behind him, and the water gathering underneath their feet. When Cho was one meter away from the cloaked figure he would launch everything he had at him. The orbs that were bursting would let out a blinding flame that would be extremely hot exceeding over one thousand degrees. The water underneath them would shoot from the left and right side of the cloaked figure turning into hundreds of spikes of ice. and behind the cloaked figure one giant spike of earth would be aimed at his chest. Though all of these attacks Cho would shift the flames and wind so it would not hit or effect him just so he could get in close and throw one solid left straight. He had a gut feeling that none of his attacks would phase the figure, but he needed to try. At least he could say, he did not go down like a b***h.
((Walter do what you want that is pretty much it, and i know Arc can get out of this so I'm not worried, and this stuff doesn't even have to hit you XD))

Yoko would quickly find out how big of a mistake she had made as the chaos energy easily ripped through the demonic and spiritual energy she used to try and deflect the chaos beam. Would she be able to notice that the energy she had used was no match for the chaos energy before it struck her? If not she was as good as dead. If she was hit the chaos energy would eat away at her entire body from the point of contact until nothing was left. That was the price to pay for underestimating chaos energy, or maybe she had just overestimated the demonic and spiritual energies. Either way, she was sure to pay for her mistake. The mysterious figure could only watch as the ice demon grabbed the virtue from the guardian and disappeared within the water. But before the masked figure could give chase another would appear in front of him and attempt to take the shield from his arm. Rihan would find that the shield wouldn’t be easily taken off the figure’s arm. The strap was fastened tightly across the beings forearm, while his hand firmly gripped the handle on the backside of the shield. Of course the shield would quickly be the least of Rihans worries as the figures cloak would spiral towards Rihan. Each spiral came to a deadly point, and if Rihan didn’t move thinking that the cloak was fabric he would find himself impaled multiple times by steel. Although the cloak was made if steel if flowed in the wind like it were made of nothing more than cotton. This was one of the beings simplest and most effective defenses. Either Rihan would find himself impaled on the figures cloak or his would retreat, whatever the case that wouldn’t stop the guardian from launching his attack to stall this mysterious figure from reaching Janus. The wave of flames would wash over the figure obscuring him from sight as the rest of the attacks flew directly towards him. Could the figure even see the rest of the attacks after being blinded by such a massive wave of flames?! The answer would soon be discovered as the flames died down and Hakkai’s fist came into contact with the figures tiger mask. The spike of earth was protruding from his chest and he was filled with holes from the ice spikes. It seems that for even all of his power this being didn’t have enough defensive talent to survive an onslaught of that magnitude. Of course as the tension began to fall laughter would begin to echo from the corpse. ”Gotcha!” The being would slide from the spike as his body repaired itself! The being was completely unharmed by Hakkai’s attack! And his counter-attack was already underway! The figures left arm had morphed into a steel blade and was thrust directly at Hakkai’s chest! The blade would pierce the guardian’s chest with ease and precision, Hakkai’s heart would be at the end of the blade extending from his back. The figure would take one more step forward closer to Hakkai as the blade reformed into his arm, the heart resting in his hand. The water beneath the plants would run red with the guardian’s blood, and his killer just stood there with his arm through Hakkai’s chest, holding his heart. With one quick motion the figure would pull his arm back through Hakkai’s chest and drop his heart into the bloody water at his feet. The guardian’s body would fall lifelessly to the ground and the figure would only look towards the direction of Ragnarok. ”Run while you can little rabbits. We will meet each other again soon.” With the guardian dead, and the virtue gone the figure would vanish as quickly as he had appeared. Any trace of his energy signature would vanish and no one would be capable of finding him until he decided to show himself once more. I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION

The stray strands of red hair that were protruding from below the hood of the cloak. The sheer presence that the figure had from the moment he arrived. It was then that Janus remembered the chaos beam. Of course! It was so obvious now! A chaos beam would have been able to free the Sins from the Hell’s Ice! There was no doubt in the ice demon’s mind now that the figure that appeared in the forest was the one that freed the Sins. Why else would he be collecting the Virtues? How else would he even know about the Virtues! Of course Janus’ thoughts would be interrupted as Hakkai’s energy signature would flare up and then completely vanish. I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION [!] ~”The winds of freedom blows for those can't hope for it”~[!] As Kira had knew Roy would keep up mighty fine, as they were in the air, Kira would not answer any of Roy's question's, he didn't have any answers himself, if anything the only thing going in his head was how powerful this guy was, and if anyone knew Kira, his eye's were able to see how the chaos beam worked and knew that it was a level beyond what they were all at, but something in him still wanted to go toe to toe with that being. "Janus." Kira would speak as he made a u-turn down towards the ground where the blue demon was running at, speed was not his forte, riding down on the wind he would hover behind and then next to Janus to his right. "Get on." Kira could smell the blood and hear the explosions. the blood alone and the sound of flesh ripping was clear to what had happened, someone died, and the smell of the metal, of the being was gone. The flames along the windboard would fade, and would allow a spot for Janus to get on, Kira did his best not to reveal his expression, but being the flames of emotion that was not something that would happen, Kira wanted to turn around and try to save the guardian, but knew it was already to late, and the fact someone gave their life for them to move on, was something that would burn in him for a long time, he would avenge his fallen comrade. "Sorry Janus, Roy, Let's head to town, something don't smell right, Janus, hold on tight, we're kicking it into overdrive!"The Flames would return at the end of the wind board as they would rocket towards the town in a hurry, nearly twice as fast as when he created the first board. Kira had a feeling this whole ordeal was not over, something didn't sit right, why would some guy just come kill the guardian and leave without his prize, that alone spells backup plans, and with that mindset, Kira would draw his sword in a reverse grip, which oddly enough was the first style of swordplay Kira used a long long time ago, before he became a warrior of heaven, also it was the style that was his most deadly and serious. [!] ~”And the flames of defiance burns bright within those that desire it ”~[!]

Unlike the other two, Kain had no such extraordinary perception skills and could not sense the impending doom. However, he knew somethin' was wrong out of intuition and instinct, and it said to him 'RUN, SON, RUNNNNNNNN~' Quickly he hefted Avery off the ground and back up onto his shoulders. This was rapidly exhausting him, and it showed in his half arsed chasing of Negi. Though he managed to keep up with Negi, he was cut off when they came across the supposed Queen Scorpion that was the one they initially confronted when they first came in. He could finally see what was rubbing his instincts the wrong way, and what the other two could sense - what looked like millions of scorpion-human hybrids flooding into the caverns around them. There was one way through, and he could feel his legs practically buckle under his wait from the idea. "CRAPPPP" Kain yelled out as he charged as fast as he could underneath the massive scorpion - her pincers just barely missing him, and then her legs threatening to crush him as he made his way through her underbelly to the lake. Finally, he could see some light again, and Negi was merely a few feet in front of him. There was only one problem - he wasn't moving anymore, and he couldn't breathe or feel the lower portion of his body anymore - during the time it took him to get to the side with the lake from under her, she had come about and clasped him with one of her massive pincers. In the same motion that she used to snatch him up she had flung him somewhere else into the cavern - among the dozens of little minions she had summoned. However, Avery fell back to the ground where Kain had been standing just mere seconds before. Would Negi risk his own skin to save Avery?

[A Scheduled Visit]
The guards at the gate simply nodded at the two and went about chatting about the odd couple that had just passed through earlier. So far Arc and Grants' arrival was going smoothly. The General would stay relaxed as he carried himself ahead with purpose. He'd let Arc carry on with spotting the immediate area although the Guild Master had little worry that anyone would try anything funny against the two but really that chance was higher than the two would want it to be. It seemed that there was a Cold War going on within Heaven's realms but very little was being done about it. Grants' concerns were with the Council and Heaven's rulers. Ever since Lucas came to Heaven the place had been turned upside down. And when turned around like that, some unpleasant things were shaken loose. Even Heaven had their secrets and their shadows. Grants would keep quiet as he silently agreed with himself to be safer than sorry.
-- ((For Sabriel ))
Grants and Arc would pass by the two guards who were bickering with a seemingly short tempered-and perhaps equally short in height- woman. The two guards would notice Grants and Arc, immediately erecting their postures, "General Grants. Arc."
With a nod, the two would flash a smile and go back to focusing on the woman. Grants glanced down for a moment...if she were to catch his attention now was the time. Although she would have to chase after the two as Grants was on the move.
--
"Alright." Grants spoke up as they arrived at Aaron's domain. The Capital Cathedral truly stood up to it's name as it's majestic structure overshadowed the rest of Yaabashael. The stained glass windows tinted the surrounding light with dull, glossy hues. The faint sound of an angelic choir could be heard in the background as an ethereal peace befell upon Grants and Arc. However relaxing it felt to be here though, Grants knew there was some dirty business to attend to within the Cathedral's lower levels. The dungeons were rarely talked about as the lake below the Cathedral spouted more rumors than the prison cells. "I can feel Aaron's aura from out here. I've never been in his presence before...I hear that staying in this city greatly enhances ones spiritual abilities. It feels more like I'm being disarmed though. I'm not too comfortable with that...but I suppose we'll have to get used to it."
Grants made small talk as they entered through the front doors to the Cathedral. The guards on duty glanced up, nodding with respect before letting them pass by.
"There you are." A pale Celestial draped in perhaps too many robes floated towards the two warriors. His blonde hair flowed loosely as he smiled wide for Grants. This one seemed a little "off" but he didn't seem threatening by any means. "If you go through those doors there will be a bricked off wall at the end of the hallway. Just give the light post a little tug and you'll have access to the dungeons below. We only have one cell occupied at the moment with four people detained. I heard there were two more running around so be careful...when you're done with them you may meet Aaron at the highest level. Many thanks!"
The pale one floated back, gave Arc a look over and gave him a small smile before wandering off somewhere.

 ~:'þɹɐƃʎᴎ ɯðþµʎM':~
Kain managed to navigate successfully through the creatures, but Wyndom turned around before he made it to the Scorpion, assuming he'd make it through fine and dandy. The reason for this was that a familiar aura had arrived.
"Raven!"
Wyndom called out to her in relief, he was glad to see things on her side had at least gone well enough. Figuring that Negi was picking up Kain and Avery as he spoke, Wyndom headed off on his air platform towards Raven and Lucas - eager to leave the masses of creatures far behind and reconnect with his comrades.
It was only as Wyndom got closer to the opposite shoreline that he realized there was someone new with Raven---where was Lucas? Surely he was just taking his time to exit the caverns, right? Something deeper was tugging at his mind, though...the words Raven had spoken to him last, "We're in a lot of trouble."
A pang of fear began to form at the core of Wyndom's stomach as he suddenly feared the worst.
"Raven...where's Light...?"

⌠ Arc Imishi ⌡ Arc waved at his fellow guards, caught in a way off guard, he had very few people within the guards who respected him, and fewer still who liked him. Heaven was in a way surprisingly full of prejudices against half bloods, especially half blood celestials. Arc felt something along the lines of what General grants was feeling within the city, his abilities felt restricted, but the nature of his angelic magic left him with a feeling of absolute power within his own sphere. As if the grand reaching aura empowered you while encouraging you to be absolutely certain before you used that power. At any rate Arc was uncomfortable with the feeling and had to fight to keep his hand off his blade as the new angel appeared laying out their path for them. As the angel floated away, Arc would move towards the door, knowing that general grants would be heading the same direction. Reaching the door he would open it, giving the other celestial a chance to pass through its opening before passing through himself and continuing on towards the bricked off wall and the light post. Arc should if all things went appropriately have little to no reason to draw either of his weapons but was prepared to draw any of them in the blink of an eye. He would allow the general to trigger the entrance to the passages beyond expecting fully to be a guard as such from here on out. Arc had trained himself to the point of competing regularly with angels in speed and strength, though he lacked their magic fortitude. He was working on a few new magics which would enhance his speed and with that he could perhaps counter some of even the fastest opponents. His time in heaven had lead him to slowly drift away from his heritage and his mothers teachings from his childhood, in favor of a more active combat style rather than the inherently reactive iajutsu.
