Aludra Yvette... Aludra followed Kenneth outside into the grounds with Callysto by their sides. The cool yet crisp air hit her like a train and she inhaled the lovely scent of an early spring in the air. "Its smells so beautiful out here." she complimented as they followed the marked path. ...7th Year Slytherin

 Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto nodded. Yes, the pre-spring air smelled lovely. She smiled, looking at her friends face. Then her belly. Then her face. Then back to her belly. Twins! It was such a shock. She beamed at Aludra; hoping her facial expression would express her blessings for her upcoming marriage and children.
'Perhaps I can write a letter to Grandmum? Oh, Zeus! Can I even write? Why didn't I think further...' Callysto's mind was a maelstrom of -- of everything. She hoped Lillian would think to research Elven courting rituals soon. Or Merlin knew how long this would last.

Kenneth couldn't help but notice the shocked look on Callysto's face as she looked back and forth at Aludra's face then belly over and over again. He found it sorta odd that she didn't say anything Aya had been all kinds of excited when I let it slip to her. "Callsyto is there a reason your so quite and have that deer in the headlights expression?"

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto found herself looking at Kenneth, nodding slowly. How could she go about this? She stuck her hand in the pockets of her robes and looked at the sky; as if expecting an answer to drop from the Heavens. Nothing.
She looked down, scowling. This was bloody difficult! Why was this such a ridiculous ritual? The half-elf kicked at the ground, several small rocks danced across the damp earth. So many bloody rules! Callysto leaned down to pick up on of the rocks, intending to throw it but stopped when the small object resting neatly in her palm. She turned back to Kenneth who was peering at her curiously. She grabbed for his hand, pulling it out, face up and dropped the stone into it. Similar to what she had done with Lillian on the dance floor.

Aludra Yvette... Aludra stared rather inquisitively at Callysto as she dropped the stone into Kenneths free hand. She instictively squeezed his other hand tight in hers as she stared at the stone having seen this once before at home. It was some damned movie about a penguin and a pebble, much like that one before them. The man penguin gave it to the female to show love and affection... and an interest to mate. "Are you asking to mate with Kenneth?" she asked in a confused voice. If Callysto did, Aludra would have no problem... defending her relationship by eliminating the competition. ...7th Year Slytherin

"Okay there is a reason." He said when Callysto nodded her head. All he'd had to do know was figure out why. Kenneth got even more confused when she bent down picked up a rock then dropped into his palm. He cocked his head to the side, trying his best to figure out what the bloody mess she was trying to tell him. He felt Aludra tighten her grip on his hand that she had been holding on to. He crumbled his brow something about this seemed familiar to him in a way, but where. He did his best to dig though his memories to find the answer to this riddle. He got all shocked at Aludra’s question of whether or not this was her asking him to sleep with her. Of course that was not an option, he may like Callysto but Aludra was the only woman he would ever make love to again. So he pushed that crazy notion aside and continued to rack his brains trying to dig the answer out.
He was just about to give up and try to get Callysto to mime the answer out, when he suddenly remembered. This was an elven customs, but he couldn't quite remember what it was for, he had caught a glimpse of Callysto preforming the same action with the Headmistress. "Dose this have to do with what you gave Professor Lillian? It’s some sorta elvish custom, I do remember reading about it." He said as he let the rock fall out of his hand and back to the ground.

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Callysto shot Aludra a sly look and wiggled her pale eyebrows suggestively. Inwardly, she was retching. Mate with Kenny? She couldn't suppress the shudder that went through her body at the thought. Kenny was -- a man.
But a smart man nonetheless. He must have seen her give the stone to Lillian -- he then mentioned reading something about Elvish customs. The half-elf nodded; the stone was the first step. Kenneth let the rock fall from his hands to the ground; Callysto became worried. What if Lillian had done the same thing? She didn't know what the rock signified -- or what would happen to it as things progressed. But surely she wouldn't have just thrown it away?

Aludra Yvette... Aludra's brow furrowed as she looked at her friends signiture eyebrow wiggle. Even if it was amusing and the inside of her was laughing like a giddy school girl, her face was as cold and stoney as a pebble that has been smoothed ove by the stream. It was Aludra to respond to a joke this way, but something deep down made her furious enough to slap the taste right out of someones mouth. She mumbled something inaudible and retracted her hand from Kenneths. "I dont know anything about elves, thats Kenneths area of knowledge, but it doesnt take a genious to figure out that you cant talk until this is over... whatever this is." Aludra crossed her arms over her chest and walked towards the Black Lake. ...7th Year Slytherin

Ghaleon took Rose's hand and helped her up on her feet. "It'll be okay Rose, don't worry. I'm sure once you have a good night's rest you'll be feeling better, you'll see."((Not to sure.. common room I suppose again. I'd say the hall but I don't think 'Rose' would want to deal with Antoinette again so soon =P))

Kenneth felt Aludra remove her hand from his, he looked over at her and noticed she had her arms crossed. He didn't quite understand what had her so upset, and was still trying to noodle it out when turned and headed toward the Black Lake. He turned back to Callysto and said, "I need to go see what's wrong. It's prolly all the hormones from the pregnancy but I still need to see if she's alright." He went to turn to follow after Aludra and then stopped looked back at Callysto and added "I'm pretty sure you overheard me and Aludra talking about how where going to have twins. I want to take you for your support, even though I'm still not quite sure why you haven't come out and say it, but none the less thanks Call." After his finished that last bit he went off after Aludra.

Callysto Volkova | Language Master | Head of Slytherin Before Kenneth was out of her sight Callysto caught up to him and slapped him hard on the back; in a congratulatory fashion of course. Twins! She smiled brightly at him as he went off in search of Aludra.
She was still for several moments then tapped her foot impatiently. Quickly deciding to follow the man as he followed his future wife she strode forward. She didn't want Aludra to stay mad at her forever, after all.

Aludra Yvette... She stood quietly by the shore of the Black Lake and looked over the darkened water. It was so beautiful and quiet that it reminded her of back home... speaking of that home, it was hers. There is a long tradition on her mothers side of the family that kept holding true for centuries. In the wizarding side of her family when the eldest child of wizard blood get married, that child would then inherit the most ancient and noble house of the Jatovka family. Maybe thats why she was so up in arms. Since she would be inheriting the house, her mother and father would have to find somewhere else to live. No doubt they would find a nice little place in an area they felt suited them just as her grandparents had done before them. Aludra closed her eyes as she breathed in a deep breath of air before opening them once agan. ...7th Year Slytherin

Kenneth jarred forward some when something smacked into his back. He quickly turned to see what hit him to discover that it was in fact Callysto. Well since she couldn't speak for some reason this must be her way of communicating congratulations. He smiled and once again said "thanks Callysto," before continuing after Aludra.
He finally spotted her standing near the edge of the Black Lake just a few meters down from their favorite tree. He was still wondering what had gotten her so upset as he got closer to where she was standing. When he arrived he noticed that she was looking out over the lake, he silently walked up to her and stood beside her. He reached out his hand to lightly touch her exposed shoulder and asked, "Is everything alright sweetheart?"
